"The hotel's front desk service was particularly poor. Upon check-in, I explained I'd already booked and paid on Trip.com, but the receptionist showed no respect, insisting I hadn't paid. Later, I called the manager over, who abruptly stated we'd already paid, offering no apology for their previous rudeness. The room was small and barely adequate. Don't expect too much in Greenland; it's basically nothing. The hotel is close to the airport, but still a distance from the town center. Those with a car should consider this carefully. We checked out at 10 a.m. and asked if we could check in later, as our flight wasn't at noon. As expected, we were given another rude treatment. I can only say the hotel doesn't think it needs to be polite, but I definitely wouldn't recommend staying with such an attitude. Of course, options in Greenland are limited, so if you have no other options, you might want to stay here."

A modern 4-star hotel in the center of Ilulissat. Hotel Ilulissat will be a 4-star hotel under HORESTAs classification and is still under construction and will be ready in the end of May 2021. We are going to be located in the heart of Ilulissat which means our guests will be able to reach museums, souvenir shops, groceries, clothing shops, fitness centers, churches, cafés or other places within 10 minutes by walking. A restaurant on top of the hotel. Our restaurant will be placed on top of the hotel on the 6th floor and therefore have great view over the surroundings of Ilulissat. We will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and of course coffee, drinks and maybe cakes and sandwiches. Rooms: There will be 5 different room types: Standard Superior Family Executive Suites All together 78 rooms. All rooms have double beds and there is 2 fold-out bunk beds in Family rooms. Tours: We will offer different tours and you can book the tours directly on our homepage once it is up and running before hotel opening or send us a request by e-mail.

"Travelling is an eye opener. I came across the worst rudest Front Desk person , Heidi. I booked a Seaview Executive Room, but was given one with a view of a broken hut on some stones. Heidi at the Front Desk said , ” You booked through *******, so we cannot change for you.”. I said ,” I paid extra to have a seaview room snd it is printed out on my voucher. .” ... Heidi said ” ******* made a mistake, our hotel is full, we cannot change room for you”.I said I need to take photo of your name plate to complain against you” . Heidi said , ”It is against the law here for you to take a photo of me, I will call the Police” ...She stormed into the manager's room. Her manager, Renee, was more reasonable. We were offered a seaview room in the end. I hope that this very bad experience was not because I am asian. The rooftop restaurant is good because of it staff, its view. I should have taken photo of the 'broken hut view' room."

"Greenland has not many choices, it is very cost-effective to book this, stay in an apartment Can sleep five people in an extra bed, the space is very large, the kitchen appliances have everything and the washing machine What time is not satisfied, the check-in time has been telling us that we are cleaning the room, not how long it will take. We waited on the first floor, waited for more than an hour and said it was still cleaning but we could go to the room and see But didn't say where the room was at all. We didn't have a key? I continued to ask and said that the key was on the cleaning person, but where did we live? I told us at this time. The apartment is located on the second floor and takes about fifteen steps to climb the stairs, but this road is full of big stone suitcases that will rot."
