Vik Hotels with Wifi

"Vik Apartments doesn't have a front desk; you get a code for self check-in. Our room was on the first floor, right off Route 1. There's a supermarket across the street. The popular restaurants in Vik are very busy, so if you don't want to wait, you can buy groceries from the supermarket and cook yourself. The apartment has a full set of kitchen utensils. We just bought things at the supermarket based on how they looked, and ended up with some strangely flavored items. I'd recommend translating the labels if you have time. After breakfast, we wanted to visit some attractions first, then come back to pack up, check out, and leave. When we went out, we saw two suspicious people outside, so we quickly went back inside, packed everything, loaded it into the car, and then left. Hopefully, we were just being over-paranoid."

"The outside pictures of the property do not match the reality. Across from you is a camping site and multiple hotels which if you open your curtains can look directly into your room. You also don’t get the whole house, just the half which is super inconvenient and again people look inside of your room. The bathroom was nice, a bit small but had all amenities. The check in was through an app that we couldn’t access so we had to go to the hotel to check in, which is super close so it was okay. The room was super hot and the window didn’t open so we needed to keep the front door open which due to the aforementioned reasons wasn’t comfortable. It is super close to all the shops as the city is very small and the hotel is right off the main road."

"The good: - Breakfast was very good! - Room and bed was warm. - hot water shower works almost instantly. - Netflix and Amazon Prime available on the TV. Can be improved: - toilet slide door emited loud screeching sound which was annoying. - poor sound isolation between floors, we stayed on the ground floor and we could hear stomping the whole night. We feedback this to the hotel staff but was just given a “I cannot do anything about it” face and a shoulder shrug which clearly indicated they did not have the intention to do anything about it. - phone in the room was not working, staff had to reboot it as they said it’s a common issue. - the air vent in the bathroom stopped moving after sometime, was told to turn it off and on again to make it work again. - we checked in the same time as another couple at the reception, we overheard that they got a complementary room upgrade from the standard room (same as us). We asked if we would be upgraded as well, staff just told us that it depends on the amount we paid for the room. But clearly we booked the same standard room? Overall: Room rate was on the high side and much was expected but the condition of the room and service were under delivered."

"Environment: Excellent, with views of the snow-capped mountains from the window. Cleanliness: Clean, soft towels, disposable slippers and bathrobes provided. Service: The staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities: Breakfast was quite substantial, although it was still white food."

"Super cozy hotel, a well-known brand amenity provided. Wifi, kettle, coffee tea are included in the room. Super worthy to have breakfast there wif loads of option Free parking and there’s gas station/Supermarket in the opposite ."

"The room was spacious and clean, and you had to wear shoe covers to enter. Inside, everyone was wearing indoor slippers. I was initially worried about the shared bathroom, but it was very clean and large in person. The stay was very comfortable. Highly recommended."
