"Pros:
1. There's a free shuttle bus from Asahikawa Station to the hotel. It was just me and my friend on the bus, and the driver was super enthusiastic, constantly using a translator to point out the scenery along the way.
2. The buffet food was delicious. Definitely go for both breakfast and dinner; it's excellent value for money, especially since there aren't many other restaurants nearby.
3. It's super close to Shirogane Blue Pond (Biei Shirogane Aoiike), just a two-minute walk. It wasn't crowded when we went in the morning.
4. There's a Chinese-speaking staff member at the front desk, which made communication very easy.
5. There's an arcade and gashapon machines. Even though they're old, they were quite fun to play with.
Cons:
1. The rooms are old, and the soundproofing is poor. I could hear the person snoring next door.
2. There aren't many hot springs baths, and the outdoor bath was very mediocre. Someone must have peed in it before, as there was a specific Chinese sign on the door saying, 'No peeing in the hot spring bath.'"

"The environment here is great, with all the living functions, including an oven, microwave, washing machine, heater, and basic daily necessities. There are also plates and tableware. There is also space for parking outside. It is very comfortable. I highly recommend this accommodation. There is also a convenience store next to it where you can buy things, which is very convenient. I would like to visit here again!"

"Hotel staff are very friendly with clear instructions in english. The room was on the level above some steps without lift so not convenient for people with big luggage. Room was decent in size with small bathroom. Room decoration can be improved. Food provided by the hotel is good and decent variety. Check out was smooth."

Given the great location, I think it would be even better if they offered Hokkaido-sourced wheat bread or original coffee."

"Very beautiful accommodation environment, the master's intention can be seen in the details. The room was clean and tidy, the breakfast was Western-style, and Hokkaido milk was delicious. Just beside the Ken&Mary tree, walk to the Meilong Station for 30 minutes, take a taxi for 970 yen, and also fight for the first stop on the road. Staying for two days, the first day happened to have a navel offering in Furano, so I rushed to Furano. After the event, I took the last JR car back to the United States. Before the departure, ask the landlord about how to call a taxi at night. The landlord told us that if there is no car, you can call Mr. Fang to drive to pick up. Unexpectedly, after leaving the station at night, there are still many taxis waiting outside the station, which is very pleasant. On the last day, take a taxi to Asahikawa Airport and the fare is 3,130 yen, which is acceptable."

"It is a B&B run by ********* and speaks Chinese. Dinner and breakfast are charged separately. Dinner is 4,500 yen and breakfast is 1,500 yen. I went there once in autumn and winter, and the food has not changed. If you are staying consecutively or going there for the second time, it is recommended to inform the owner in advance, and they will update some dishes for you. The room is a bit old and the public bathroom on the first floor is not open. If you have a car at night, it’s very convenient to go to Shinei-no-oka to watch the stars!"

"1. The staff all speak English and are incredibly friendly. They helped us book dinner, rented bikes for us to go to the supermarket for cantaloupes, and provided excellent service. Highly recommend!
2. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, perfectly seasoned, and tasted just like homemade food. You can tell a lot of care went into it.
3. I highly recommend going to Takumiya Yakiniku across the street. We stayed here for two nights, and on the night in between, we tried 'Jiu' Yakiniku, which was opened by ********* owners. I really don't recommend it, despite being run by *********. Takumiya Yakiniku, on the other hand, has excellent quality wagyu beef and vegetables. It's definitely our top choice for dinner.

"The accommodation is much better than I thought. We went in the winter and the snow was really thick. The villa has 2 floors. The ground floor has a kitchen, a dining area, and a backyard area. The upper floor is a bedroom with a large window for sleeping and watching the snow. If you go in the winter, you have to push your luggage in a cart yourself. It's fun. The atmosphere around the accommodation is good, but it's more suitable for people with cars because it's quite far from the city."

The cress provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. Visitors to Biei will find that the cress is a fantastic accommodation choice. The hotel is conveniently located just 600m from Biei Station and 11km from Asahikawa Airport. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Hokusei-no-oka Observatory Park, Zenkyuji and Omachi Park all nearby. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. This Biei hotel provides parking on site.
"The hotel description did not capture the situation enough. I was confused due to lack of room pictures. They also posted several listing for different rooms under different hotel name section. But this room is perfect for us. The location is a bit far (if you are not used to walking) from the station but it is only around 7-9 minutes walking. The surrounding area is a quiet neighborhood. The building is new and very clean. It was also warm inside even when the weather forecast said -14 celcius outside. The japanese food they served was also very good. They provided free coffee/tea and water in common area. They also let us lent their microwave. The bathroom is only one but very clean and comfy. The room has its own mini fridge, ac, and tv. If you are wondering where to stay in Biei, I definitely recommend this place."

One of the things we appreciated most was how comfortable the accommodation was. The beds were cozy, the living area was spacious, and everything felt clean and well cared for. It didn’t feel like a hotel room — it felt like a real home. The quiet surroundings made it easy to rest well, and waking up to such a serene environment was incredibly refreshing.
The kitchen was a big highlight for us. Being able to cook our own meals added so much warmth to the stay. Whether it was preparing a simple breakfast in the morning or enjoying a homemade dinner together, the kitchen was well-equipped and easy to use. GGuest UserRoom facilities have everything, the overall cleanliness is very satisfactory, suitable for groups of five to six people, there is a supermarket nearby, it is convenient to cook by yourself, and it is very close to the surrounding attractions of Meilu by car.
Warm reminder that there are not many choices for dinner, many shops are closed at seven o'clock, if you are not cooking by yourself, pay attention

The room was very warm and took a lot of photos. When we used to walk for about 40 minutes, it is recommended to take a taxi. The surrounding area is very deserted. Cool Meixuan is a fairy tale town

There are 4 units in this building. One parking slot per unit is provided at the corner near unit 101.
This apartment offers a truly practical and comfortable base for exploring the area. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the basic utensils and cutlery for easy meal prep, and the welcome inclusion of instant slippers, toothbrushes, and toothpaste. The microwave was also super handy for quick snacks and reheats.
Comfort is well-managed with one air-conditioner that kept the unit at a pleasant temperature throughout our stay. The washing machine was a huge plus, and we found the designated drying area right above it in the toilet very efficient. The separate dining table was also a nice touch, providing a comfortable space for meals. 2 dryers are outside the building.
With two double beds, this unit is well-suited for small groups or families. We also enjoyed being able to link our Netflix account to the TV, which was great for unwinding in the evenings

Things to Note About the Location
The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood, offering a peaceful atmosphere. While there aren't many eateries directly nearby, there are two convenience stores within easy reach. Do keep in mind that local supermarkets tend to close around 7 PM, so plan accordingly for groceries.
We found the area to be quite pleasant for getting around, with not many cars on the road. This makes it particularly fun to explore the town by bicycle, and there are several bicycle rental stores available if you're keen to pedal around.
