"The hotel is about 8 minutes walk from the train station, where you'll pass by a number of cafes and restaurants. The room is well equipped and reasonably spacious by Japanese standard. Breakfast is pretty bare but it is included in the package."

"The hotel is located right by the river with a beautiful view. You can enjoy the outdoor onsen, and they provide yukata/clothes to change into. It’s a shame because the location is excellent, but the hotel could really use a renovation. The onsen is spacious, but it feels quite old, with moss/algae buildup in some areas, and it’s located next to a smoking room, so the cigarette smell was quite disturbing. Both breakfast and dinner are served buffet-style with a wide variety of options, and the food tastes good. In the evening, there’s also a great selection of alcoholic drinks available."

"J-HOPPERS is conveniently located. Just walk straight ahead after getting off the bus; it's at the fork in the road, or you can find it at the fork next to Tangfeng Prince. Google Maps is wrong; it leads to a long detour. It's also very close to the Millennium Hot Spring. I stayed in an 8-person room, each with individual capsule-style cubicles. The space was good; I could sit up and there was still plenty of room. The hot spring was very comfortable. Breakfast was free, consisting of congee. Even better than the facilities was the guesthouse's genuine hospitality and warm service. The owner even helped me carefully research the ticket purchase process for fishing in the river."

"The hotel is very nice and still feels brand new, with a great location close to Kii-Tanabe Station. The staff were friendly, the check-in process was fast, and the room was very clean and comfortable. The laundry facilities, ice machine, and vending machines were all excellent. We also appreciated the free breakfast and complimentary coffee/tea in the afternoon. This hotel is highly recommended and perfect as a starting point for the Kumano Kodo journey. One suggestion would be to offer breakfast earlier or provide breakfast boxes for hikers starting early in the morning. Highly recommended, and we would definitely stay here again."

"I had originally planned to book the Kamenoi Hotel in Kikatsuura, but I found this one in Tanabe at the last minute and decided to change my plans. The hotel has a shuttle bus from Tanabe, but it seems to leave around 2:30 PM. We arrived around noon, so we opted to go ourselves; a taxi would have cost around 85 yuan. The hotel scenery is beautiful, perfect for a quiet vacation and a few extra days. There are several scenic spots nearby, probably a national park, with stunning views. It was quite windy that day, but we still managed to walk around the island. The hotel service was excellent. They even provided local snacks and green tea in the room. The best part was that from afternoon until 9:00 PM, the hotel lobby offered complimentary red wine, white wine, plum wine, beer, and snacks – that was fantastic! We ordered three simple dishes for dinner, which were quite good (it would be much more cost-effective to book a set menu that includes dinner). In the evening, we went to the large public bath for a soak. The outdoor view of the sunset was amazing."

The service of the staff is polite and kind to greatly recover the old equipment. This is the first time I feel that the cleaning staff is not enough, but I want to go again. "I booked a budget room at this hotel for a one-night stop in Kii-Tanabe before setting off on my Kumano Kodo hike. The location is super convenient, with the train station, bus stop for the next day, convenience stores, the tourist center, and many restaurants all just a few dozen meters away. The hotel is older, and the facilities are basic but adequate. My room wasn't very large, but it was very clean."

"這個房間是因為之前預訂的旅店在我出發的前一天沒有確認訂單後我唯一的選擇，也成為了我這次熊野古道中邊路全踏破的完美開局。出了車站就碰見來接我的太田先生（60歲），簡單交流後他給我一本要到熊野古道館才能買到的小冊子，並且上面已經把古道外圍最遠的一個章蓋了，今天新手村的任務就是NPC帶我把其他兩個章蓋好，並讓我先嚐試2小時的山道徒步為明天的出發熱身。 太田先生全程熱情解説並沒有收取我額外任何的費用，距離他家步行3分鐘有羅森的便利店，我買了很多補給和晚餐，誰知道我住的房間裏早已被塞滿各種免費暢飲的飲料。房間安排在二樓，有廁所，但洗澡洗衣服要去樓下。房間面積超大，比我在京都的家還要大一點，晚上陽台可以看到完美山谷日落噢！廁所有點年代感但非常的乾淨，廁紙也是超厚香香的！浴室和洗面池配的各種洗漱用品齊全到可以不用打開洗刷包了！ 忙了一下午的太田先生晚餐衹是簡單的泡麪和肉丸，這讓我有點過意不去。晚餐後我們聊了很久，太田先生居然是半個中國通，如果大家有機會入住請多和他交流吧。 雖然這裏看起來離出發點有點距離，但有羅森便利店的加持和太田先生的熱情款待，這裏絕對是熊野古道出發的幸運地！我非常推薦！"

"Full of continental garden hotel. Simple design is good-looking. There is also a smart kitten explaining the stay in Cantonese. The room is clean and tidy as a whole. Outside the window facing the sea view. Parking is free. You can also book 30 minutes of private soup (free) Breakfast style is not much, but enough. Staff service is very good, kind and courteous. I also gave my son a small gift when I checked out. After we checked in, we went to the beach near the hotel to play until late at night. I didn't expect the staff to be so attentive and reserved a private soup for me. Thank you very much."
