"I was very happy to receive a room upgrade upon check-in. The room was very clean and there was no strange smell that is common in hotels, so I had a very comfortable stay. The linens were also very soft and comfortable. I especially liked the pajama-style sleepwear, which came in separate tops and bottoms. I would definitely stay at this hotel again."

"I use this hotel because I have a study group in Nagano Prefecture every month.
Everyone at the front desk is kind and polite.
Breakfast is a buffet and the contents remain the same, but I think breakfast is pretty much the same everywhere.
If you get tired of it, you can purchase something at a nearby convenience store.
I come by car, but when it snows, the train is fine too. It's convenient as it's right next to the station.
I'll use it again."

"It was amazing! Starting from meeting at the station and ending with perfect water temperature!
I had amazing experience with kaiseki cuisine, which this hotel provide. It was so tasty and so many things, that I was overeating. 😅 And I meet a samurai (mascot) during the dinner. ☺️
The room was exactly the same with picture and really comfortable.👍🏻
It is possible to take a private bath in the hotel. I used this service and can say, that I totally enjoyed it!

The room size is ok. The breakfast is average, but it's filling and I can accept it. Just can we not use disposable lunch boxes?
The hotel is in a good location, only 400 meters away from Ueda Castle. There is a sushi restaurant 150 metres from the hotel. 500 meters from the hotel is Tenjin Shopping Center (for shopping and dining)
We wanted to go to Bessho Onsen, but considering the accommodation in the hot spring area, we chose this place."

This hotel is located right next to the Kitamuki Kannon template in the bessho onsen area. A very nice place with welcoming and friendly staff. The surrounding place is calming, allowing you to slow down and unwind from the usual busy bustling city life.
Little details from nice room design and amenities, valet parking to serving afternoon snacks and coffee/teas definitely make on-the-road travellers relaxed and comfortable. Food was excellent too - fresh, tasty and well presented for guests to enjoy in private dining rooms.
Overall a great experience and stay.

Perfect stay. Amazing modern onsen ryokan. Lovely privat baths ideal for couples or families. Food was also really good and communication with the lovely staff in english (with some help from google translate) easy.

bestbingDuring the off-season, breakfast is not included. But the hotel is very quiet, the hot springs are comfortable, and there is a nice back garden. To the Anle Temple, the Guanyin to the north is within walking distance. Traditional Japanese room and service. The lobby layout is very beautiful.
