"Great in every way, from the excellent location, just across from Utsunomiya Station, connected by an overpass, to the modern decor, the smiling front desk staff, the good security system, the spacious rooms, the comfortable seating areas, the beds larger than the Japanese standard, and the reasonably good breakfast. All staffs are very nice and attentive. I like the onsen on the top floor, spacious and nice, with two large pools both indoor and outdoor, see the view of the railway station, especially at night is beautiful. Last but not least, there are many cafe, restaurant, shopping zone and huge supermarket in the whole building. Recommended!"

"Great experience at the Tobu Grande Hotel! It is ideally located, next to all of the cities main attraction and interesting points. Bus and metro stop is close by, as well as convenience stores. The room was more spacious and equiped as I initially thought, which was a pleasant surprise! The Grill Restaurant staff and food were also exceptional. Overall, I can only recomment staying at this hotel for a trip to Utsunomiya"

"The hotel is a very nice hotel, a very nice hotel and a very nice hotel. The staff is also very pleasant despite our approximate Japanese they have done everything they can to get to understand each other and to make our stay as pleasant as possible. However, two minor problems occurred during the stay: - The container is little isolated, which makes the air conditioned must work all the time so that the temperature remains pleasant. - The terrain is located next to a metro line outside and unfortunately we hear it quite strongly in the rooms The two concerns we have met may not be, because if you leave the heating no problem of comfort and if you sleep between midnight and 6:00 a.m. the train will not bother you. I am still happy with this hotel that has responded to my expectations."

The free instant miso soup is yummy."

The location was great, just a 5-minute walk from Utsunomiya Station, with many restaurants nearby. Also, the free sea bream rice porridge service for a late-night snack was a nice touch. There were also some delicious gyoza restaurants in the vicinity.

I found this hotel from Trip.com and be so happy to stay here for 4 nights. It’s located at the west side of Utsunomiya station. It’s very convenient. We rent a car to travel around and the parking at the hotel is also convenient. But we have to pay additional fee at 1000 yen per day. And if you will park before check in time, 300 yen will be added (per hour maybe). But it’s ok for our convenience. Room is spacious, convenient for two people with two luggages. But we didn’t book for breakfast because it’s quite convenient for the restaurants and many convenience stores around the hotel. I hope to return here again next time. ☺️

This hotel is conveniently located to the left when you exit JR Utsunomiya Station's west exit. There's also an airport bus stop right in front of the hotel, which is super handy. While there are plenty of restaurants nearby, you can also dine at the hotel's first-floor restaurant. The hotel entrance is on the second floor, and amenities are available at the front desk. Shampoo and conditioner are provided in the room, along with pajamas, slippers, and a hairdryer. Overall, it's a very clean hotel, and I would definitely want to stay here again if I come to Utsunomiya!

Generally a pleasant stay, the place is old but pretty well maintained. My main gripe is that the soundproofing on the windows isn’t great, you can hear the Friday night crowds and cars. That said they do provide ear plugs at the front desk, which helped a lot.

There are also commercial facilities and tram stations that can be walked nearby. Quiet hotel built just one from the main street! There is a bar on the first floor and there is a massage. There was a convenience store right in front of me. Resident parking lot は No material で You can stop in the hotel. There was also a large parking lot next door. The hotel is old, but it was beautiful and the staff were friendly. I would like to ask if I have another chance!
