"This hotel is conveniently located to the left when you exit JR Utsunomiya Station's west exit. There's also an airport bus stop right in front of the hotel, which is super handy. While there are plenty of restaurants nearby, you can also dine at the hotel's first-floor restaurant. The hotel entrance is on the second floor, and amenities are available at the front desk. Shampoo and conditioner are provided in the room, along with pajamas, slippers, and a hairdryer. Overall, it's a very clean hotel, and I would definitely want to stay here again if I come to Utsunomiya!"

"Value for money, clean room and washroom with bath tub. The breakfast in hotel is nice and yummy, lots of choice at buffet, decent seating. Location is great for travellers not driving. The public bath at rooftop has splendid view and atmosphere but the water is not hot enough. Also the hotel does not has its own car park but there is plenty of hourly-pay car parks around."

If you don't have coin, you can always go to their receptionist counter and ask for the change. Extra : Iron & Iron Board - you can request at the counter. Check In : Super easy and fast (provided that you have all the docs ready. Just give the booking number & passport to them)"

"Stayed with three elementary school children and couples. The tension of the child rises in the loft style! Adults slept in a loft bed, but it was not narrow and ok. It was a stay without breakfast, but the breakfast that other guests were eating looked delicious. I thought it would be good to have breakfast next time. There was a ramen shop nearby and it was delicious."

"The hotel's location is good; it's about a 5 or 6-minute walk from the west exit of the JR station. However, the facilities are somewhat outdated. The trip to Utsunomiya was for convenience when heading to Nikko the next day, and the money paid was only enough for a capsule hotel stay in Tokyo, so there's nothing to complain about."

"It's bigger than the other Fairfield inns I've stayed in Japan. Connected to a roadside station with restaurants and an expensive grocery store. Across the street from an onsen. I still love the design. My lady and I eat breakfast and dinner in the lobby kitchen area. We love that we can use the microwave and toaster to warm up our meals. The free instant miso soup is yummy."

"I found this hotel from Trip.com and be so happy to stay here for 4 nights. It’s located at the west side of Utsunomiya station. It’s very convenient. We rent a car to travel around and the parking at the hotel is also convenient. But we have to pay additional fee at 1000 yen per day. And if you will park before check in time, 300 yen will be added (per hour maybe). But it’s ok for our convenience. Room is spacious, convenient for two people with two luggages. But we didn’t book for breakfast because it’s quite convenient for the restaurants and many convenience stores around the hotel. I hope to return here again next time. ☺️"

"Close to the train station less than 10 min walking, two convini just at few meters from the hotel, a bar at first floor, the room bigger that the standard for Japanese hotels, with ac, big tv, water boiler, fridge, free bottle of water, modern decoration. "Great experience at the Tobu Grande Hotel! It is ideally located, next to all of the cities main attraction and interesting points. Bus and metro stop is close by, as well as convenience stores. The room was more spacious and equiped as I initially thought, which was a pleasant surprise! The Grill Restaurant staff and food were also exceptional. Overall, I can only recomment staying at this hotel for a trip to Utsunomiya"
