"Overall, we had a comfortable stay. The room was clean and having a coffee machine with complimentary coffee and tea was a nice touch. We didn’t use many of the hotel’s other facilities, so I can’t comment on those. The location is very convenient, especially because it’s so close to the train station. However, there were some people around who made the area feel unsafe. The main downside was the soundproofing. It could definitely be improved, as we could clearly hear guests in the next room, including very private conversations and other noise iykyk. The reception staff were polite and welcoming, but they sometimes seemed a little less attentive than expected. They weren’t unfriendly at all, but a bit more engagement and attentiveness would have made the experience even better. Overall, it was a good stay, but improving the soundproofing and guest service would make the experience even better."

"It's about a 10-15 minute walk from Zaandam station, passing through Legoland town, so you won't get bored. It's also close to the windmill town, and the hostels offer a lot of privacy, so I'd recommend it if you're traveling alone."

"The room is perfect, and the bathroom is lovely. It comes with a coffee machine and a safe. There are two car charging points, but both were out of order. Check-in was a hassle; I had to enter so much information, and it didn't save any time at all. Even though I'd stayed there before, I had to re-enter everything. 16 euros for parking when you're staying overnight feels excessive to me. The barrier at the car park was also broken, so I had to walk to reception."

"This is a landmark building, and many people were taking photos outside the hotel. The room was quite small, and the sink drained slowly. When I called the front desk, someone came to fix it. The shower pressure was very weak; I thought it was just low water pressure and didn't bother calling the hotel again, which made for a terrible experience. It wasn't until the 3rd night that I discovered a hidden switch underneath that, once pressed and turned, provided normal water flow. The room had two windows, but they felt small and not very comfortable. I much preferred the hotel I stayed at a few days prior, closer to the city center, with large windows. The upside is that it's very close to the train station, and there's a big supermarket on the pedestrian street outside, making it convenient for shopping."

"I had a good stay overall and shared a room with a friend for 3 nights. The hotel is very budget-friendly and in a great location. It's right next to Primark, has plenty of food options on the same street, and is only about a 3-minute walk from the train station. The view from our room on the 8th floor was also nice. However, there were a few downsides. The bathroom, toilet, and sink were all in one very small space. We were only provided with one pillow each, and my friend's towel had a hole in it. Housekeeping is provided every three days, and if you want fresh towels or sheets daily, there is an additional charge. The walls seemed quite thin. Even from the 9th floor, we could hear people on higher floors walking around, moving suitcases, and slamming doors. The doors are very heavy and difficult to close quietly, so noise was fairly common. Overall, it's a good option if you're looking for an affordable place to stay in a convenient location, but don't expect much in terms of space, amenities, or soundproofing."

"It was nice hotel but getting to it was bad we were using public transportation and there was construction so we had to go over a bridge to get to it and my sister is afraid of heights so it was a bad experience but the hotel itself was nice"

"Very clean and looked after hotel room and the location is so peaceful away from any noise in the main city of Amsterdam. Me and my girlfriend enjoyed this stay very much it’s my second time here and I can’t fault it. Only issue was the hairdryer for my girlfriend it took forever to dry her hair as it just wasn’t powerful enough at all."
