"”Twenty-one days in the Philippines, five different hotels. H Hotel is the best one. No debate. That’s it. First morning, still half asleep, stepped out onto the balcony and the bay was just right there. Neither of us wanted to leave. The staff remember things. Not in a trained way. They actually remember what you said yesterday and bring it up today. That’s different. For breakfast, sharing one portion between two people is more than enough. You can add a smoothie or a coffee alongside it. After days of heavy food, an easy plant-based breakfast is exactly what you want in the morning. It felt like a reset. The room is clean and comfortable. We spent time in the hanging chair, we didn’t want to get out of bed, the TV is big and the picture quality is good. We genuinely had to push ourselves to go outside. Piece of Sky at night: good cocktails, the bay lit up below, live saxophone. I don’t know where else in El Nido you get all of that at once. That’s the stay. Worth it.”"

"This is a simply wonderful hotel with included breakfast. We always had the cheese omelet, highly recommended! The rooms are clean, the air conditioning works well, and there was hot water throughout our stay. They cleaned our room as needed. It's very close to the port and the bustling main street, but you can't hear the noise from there, it's very peaceful."

"I really liked the hotel and the beach itself. There are sun loungers, showers, toilets, and a small pool within the glamping area. Vendors aren't allowed on the property, so you won't be bothered. It can be a bit noisy in the room in the evenings/at night due to nature sounds – some might not like it, but we found it pleasant to fall asleep to. The mountain view from the room is beautiful, but if you look down, it's a bit of a swamp and a parking lot – not so great. Breakfasts are modest, machine coffee costs extra, and the fruits and vegetables are bland (except for the mango). Food and drink prices aren't cheap, but everything is good quality. Right outside the fence on the beach, there are several cafes, shops, and massage places. Upon check-in, we received some welcome gifts: 2 bottles of water, apples, nuts, instant noodles, and a shell necklace! And upon check-out, we got some small pastries. Transfers to/from El Nido airport or to the town center cost 1800 PHP for a minivan. Pros: Large, nice-looking rooms, plenty of towels, spotless white linens. Cons: Weak shower pressure, no handheld showerhead (only a rain shower), and no place to dry clothes."

"Our experience at Lime Resorts was superb! Just staying at the Sky Lounge, taking a dip at the infinity pool, enjoying the unli popcorn and ice cream or ordering delicious foods and drinks at their resto, while watching the majestic sunset is already an excellent experience. The sunset view is breathtaking! The staffs are also nice and accommodating. Upgrading our room for a bigger one for free is highly appreciated. The buffet breakfast offers a variety of food, I enjoy the salad and pastries the most. Thank you Lime resort for making our stay a memorable one 💗"

"I stayed at Z Garden Hotel between 28th Nov and 1st Dec. My stay was absolutely amazing. I arrived on an early morning flight, and despite check in being from 3pm, Remy re assured me that they will do their best to accommodate me within a short time. I left my luggage with reception and went to have some breakfast. By the time I returned my room was prepared and I was blown away at the hospitality of the staff as Remy realised upon check in that it was my birthday a few days before and the staff prepared my room with balloons and decor which left me speechless. The staff at the hotel really epitomise the hospitality and kindness of the people of Philippines. Every day my room would be left spotless and as a solo traveller it had everything I could have needed. Modern, stylish room and the bed was so comfortable. I generally struggle to sleep in Hotels but the bed was really comfortable and a warm space to relax. I was greeted by every staff member that passed by from the reception team, to housekeeping to the security guard at night. Any advice I needed or transport arranged, Remy took absolute care of everything as though I was her own guest and it really leaves a beautiful memory of my travels. It is in a brilliant location, in a quiet relaxing space just a short distance away from the lively scene of El Nido. I hope to return to El Nido in future with my family and without hesitation I will choose to stay at Z Garden Hotel again. Thank you Remy and the entire team for making it a memorable experience and I hope to see you all very soon!"

"This hotel is really, really great, I loved it! Even though I stayed in a shared four-person room, it didn't bother me at all because almost every day (from morning till evening) we were out on excursions or somewhere else. The staff are friendly and caring, rooms are cleaned daily, and the showers and toilets are communal (but there are also a few separate stalls just for women). The breakfasts are delicious and varied – I would fly back to the Philippines again just for these breakfasts! Because here, I only had truly good food three times: first in Cebu, second at the hotel's breakfast, and third at an Italian restaurant in El Nido, that's it! In the shared room, you get a towel, a locker with a lock, and a large bed (unlike other similar hotels). I'm thrilled!"

"”On the first day, the staff had a little chat with us at check-in. The next morning when we walked through, they called us by name and said hello first. My wife was delighted. She said she hadn’t expected that kind of warmth from a hotel in the Philippines. The room was cleaned thoroughly every day. The sheets had a fresh smell each time, and walking back in after a long day outside always felt like the room had just been made. That kind of consistency isn’t something every place manages. One evening we went up to the rooftop terrace. We didn’t say much. Just sat there, the two of us, looking out. At this point in life, that kind of quiet moment doesn’t come around every trip. We’re grateful J Boutique gave us one.”"

"The hotel looks nice from the outside, but everything inside felt dirty and poorly maintained. Initially, we were put in a room overlooking vents and a noisy street, even though we had specifically requested a quiet room when booking. The hotel was accommodating and moved us to a different room. However, I have to say, the soundproofing is poor; you can hear everything happening outside very clearly. Especially the motorcycles going by and the rooster crowing in the mornings! The cleaning was terrible – everything was dusty and grimy. And they'll only clean your room if you remember to hang the 'make up room' sign on the door. Breakfast was a letdown; the selection was very limited. The cheese was awful and clearly the cheapest kind. There was no cold cuts or ham. Breakfasts here felt more like lunch or dinner. You're better off going to local cafes for breakfast. On the positive side, the location is good, and the pool area is beautiful with a fantastic view. This hotel might be suitable for a short stay, but definitely keep the aforementioned issues in mind."

"Arrived around 12:00 noon, registered but then told to wait over on the side or go upstairs to restaurant. After sitting for 15 minutes I realized they are not intending for me to check-in. I go back to the desk and the lady said check-in is at 3:00 pm. I think it is ridiculous that she suggested I go sit over to the side for 3 hours. She should have told me I could check my bags and go about the town until that time, which I ended up doing. Overall, the place is nice, a great view from the rooftop restaurant/bar and the room was nice, cool and a big shower. Only disappoint was the initial interaction."

"About Anitsa Resort, we loved it! Perfect hotel that makes your stay in El Nido warm and cozy! Breakfast isn’t a buffet, but every day the menu surprises you with a delicious new option, we absolutely loved it! All the amenities worked perfectly, and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. They even assisted us with renting tours and bikes to explore the city. The resort is about 15 minutes from the center, but the location is perfect for visiting all the beaches around El Nido. If we ever return, we would love to stay at Anitsa Resort again!"
