The breakfasts were delicious, although we would have loved to see a bit more meat options since we’re big meat lovers 😄
The room has a beautiful mountain view, and the location is perfect, very close to the downtown.
There is also a church nearby! hearing the choir sing in the morning was surprisingly peaceful and lovely😇
The only thing I would add is a shuttle service to the beaches at certain times for hotel guests

"I'm not picky and we travel a lot, so I have plenty to compare with. But here, I was shocked by the sheer number of negatives all in one hotel. We stayed in two different room categories (including a suite).
For its price range, this hotel was a huge disappointment (this is our third hotel on Palawan, all located near beaches, and the prices were more or less the same). Inside, even on the bed, there were tiny ants crawling around. Breakfast isn't included, and the rooms aren't cleaned. Once, throughout our entire vacation, I asked them to clean the room and change the bedding. They came by evening, but they just took the towels and didn't replace them, saying everything was being washed 🙃. After showering, I had to dry myself with a dirty t-shirt because nothing in the room dries properly. The Wi-Fi constantly cut out, and for the last few days, it didn't work at all. Overall, it was a complete misunderstanding; the only saving grace was the ocean view from the room!
There was mold on the walls, I even saw spots on the mattress. The extractor fan in the shower didn't work at all, the toilet seat was loose, and there was hardly any water pressure in the sink and shower, just a tiny trickle (I assume for economy — even in the suite) – I've attached photos (notice how the faucet is installed). On the last day, the air conditioning even started leaking.
There's no safe, and the door lock sometimes fell out with the key, and I had to reinsert it into the hole.
If you want a somewhat comfortable stay, only book the suite; the price difference isn't that much.
The TV is in the photos, but it's not actually there, though we didn't need it anyway."

The room has fresh linens, cold AC, hot and cold showers. The only cons during our visit is that there’s no wifi due to aftermath of a recent typhoon but overall this is 10/10 hostel. I’ll stay with them once I go back soon"

"Our experience at Lime Resorts was superb! Just staying at the Sky Lounge, taking a dip at the infinity pool, enjoying the unli popcorn and ice cream or ordering delicious foods and drinks at their resto, while watching the majestic sunset is already an excellent experience. The sunset view is breathtaking! The staffs are also nice and accommodating. Upgrading our room for a bigger one for free is highly appreciated. "”Ten teenagers, a few family rooms, and the whole afternoon on the beach kicking a football, playing volleyball, swimming. The beach is long enough that it never felt crowded, the water is clear, there are lifeguards watching, and if anyone swam too far out they got called back. There were also kayaks and SUPs to borrow. They took turns until the sun went down and hunger finally brought them in.
The restaurant menu covers a good range, Filipino to American. Signal is poor out here, which turned out to be a good thing. They were actually away from their phones. Though at night they still piled into one room to watch TV together.
My flight was early the next morning. The front desk packed takeaway breakfast for the whole group without being asked. With ten hungry teenagers, that kind of thinking ahead saves a lot of trouble.”"

"The hotel looks nice from the outside, but everything inside felt dirty and poorly maintained. Initially, we were put in a room overlooking vents and a noisy street, even though we had specifically requested a quiet room when booking. The hotel was accommodating and moved us to a different room. However, I have to say, the soundproofing is poor; you can hear everything happening outside very clearly. Especially the motorcycles going by and the rooster crowing in the mornings!
The cleaning was terrible – everything was dusty and grimy. And they'll only clean your room if you remember to hang the 'make up room' sign on the door.
Breakfast was a letdown; the selection was very limited. The cheese was awful and clearly the cheapest kind. There was no cold cuts or ham. Breakfasts here felt more like lunch or dinner. You're better off going to local cafes for breakfast.
On the positive side, the location is good, and the pool area is beautiful with a fantastic view.
This hotel might be suitable for a short stay, but definitely keep the aforementioned issues in mind."

"My son booked this for me. I don't use computers, but he said it was good, so I went.
When I arrived, someone came out to greet me and take my luggage. Very friendly, speaking English with a Filipino accent, perfectly understandable. The room had a huge TV. I told my son it was bigger than the one we have at home. He joked that we should upgrade ours. I said no need yet.
The air conditioning was very cold, colder than I'm used to. I was shivering the first night. I mentioned it at the front desk, and they immediately brought an extra blanket. No long wait at all. Every morning, I'd get a free cup of coffee in the lobby and just sit and watch people pass by. I really enjoyed that.
One thing to note: there's no elevator. My knees are still good, but if you're bringing parents who have trouble with stairs, ask for a lower-floor room in advance. My son said afterward he should have arranged that. He was right.
The staff here genuinely care. You can really feel it. I told my son we're bringing his mother next time."

The location is perfect, very convenient and comfortable, but what makes this hotel outstanding is the people. The staff are incredibly responsive, caring, and attentive. The rooms are beautiful, very clean, cozy, and well maintained. Everything is done with great attention to detail.
There is absolutely no need to stay directly on the beach because the hotel regularly provides a transfer to their own Papaya Beach at 9:00 and 11:00 in the morning, with return transfers at 14:00 or 16:00. It is very convenient and well organized.
We highly recommend using the hotel’s airport transfer both to and from the airport. When our flight from El Nido was unexpectedly canceled, the team went above and beyond and helped us organize a transfer all the way to Puerto Princesa. This level of support and care is rare and priceless.
We will definitely return with great pleasure.

"The best hotel experience! My partner and I were greeted with friendly faces as soon as we walked in, with cold facecloths to cool us down. The receptionists remember your name, and make booking tours, transport and other arrangements so easy! We booked tours, motorbike rental and even spa appointments through the front desk. My partner and I accidentally overbooked our stay, but the hotel allowed us to use the overbooked nights as credit for any bookings through them. The hotel is so clean, air-conditioned and well maintained, including room service. All the staff are so lovely and helpful with any questions and concerns. The location of the hotel is very close to the port and town, with short walking distance. I highly recommend staying at this accommodation to streamline your experience in el nido! There aren't many Chinese reviews for this hotel, and I found very few tips on social media too.
Most guides for Nacpan Beach suggest just visiting for the day, so not many people actually stay overnight here.
I wouldn't say I 'recommend' it, but it's definitely an experience to stay on a beach in such an underdeveloped area.
The sand and water quality are pretty average, so don't set your expectations too high.
The main highlight of this hotel is the turtle release program, which was a novel experience for us. We were lucky enough to catch a release on our second night! So, if seeing baby turtles is your main goal for staying here, I'd suggest booking a few extra nights.
The internet here isn't great. The area outside the hotel is extremely rural, so I wouldn't recommend venturing out at night – there are no streetlights.
There are a few local restaurants at the other end of the beach; the prices and food are decent.
Definitely don't compare the value for money here to island hotels in Thailand or Malaysia, after all, this is the Philippines.
Remember to book the shuttle service in advance, as there are limited spots.
As for facilities, I feel like the hotel is doing its best. Water is a real scarcity here, and the shower pressure is very low.

My stay at El Nido Resorts Lagen Island was nothing short of extraordinary. From assisting with ferry bookings to surprising me on my birthday with a beautifully decorated bed and a delightful cake, their thoughtfulness was truly heartwarming. The resort's happy vibe upon arrival sets the tone, and you leave with a smile, longing for more. The complimentary tours, seamlessly integrated into the package, were made exceptional by the supportive guides, creating a private and well-timed experience. Opting for the overwater bungalow was a unique and enchanting experience, adding to the paradise that is El Nido Lagen Island.

This room was a nice treat, the room was massive! I love the Japanese inspired design and the smart toilet. The hotel is quiet and very close to the Lio beach front with cafes and restaurants (2min walk). It’s a nice beach too, to watch planes take off from the nearby El Nido airport. The hotel offers a free loan of electric bikes which was fun to explore the surroundings. I spotted monkeys outside the accommodation too!
They offer a free shuttle every hour to El Nido town which is helpful if you have a tour, are going to the port, or just want to explore. Ron, the driver, is nice and helpful. The service really is the best part of the experience. Every single hotel worker and cleaning staff greeted us with smiles and welcomes, and went out of their way to look after their guests, particularly the reception staff Marv, Par, Rich, and Dan. Marv gave us local recommendations.

I didn’t feel like leaving! This place is a gem. It’s nestled on top of a small hill with mind blowing views. The room (Joglo 5) had spectacular views from the balcony and was very well equipped. It was clean, comfortable, bright, and spacious. The infinity pool and restaurant were the icing on the cake. Beautiful sunsets and vibe! Service was also excellent - thanks to Wilma, RV, Maggie, Lemer, Geo, Lester, Ellen, the Chef, and all others!

We stayed for a night at this hidden villa, and it felt like a true home away from home. The staff were incredibly kind and respectful, providing excellent service that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The food was a highlight—absolutely delicious, with a healthy breakfast offered in the morning. You can even request a floating breakfast, which added a special touch to the experience. While the villa is tucked away down a short gravel road, the peaceful and private setting made it worth the effort.
The villa is kid-friendly, but families should be cautious around the tiled swimming pool area. There’s no TV, so if you’re traveling with children, make sure their devices are charged. Fortunately, the Wi-Fi is strong and reliable. Overall, it was a lovely, relaxing stay with amazing food and warm hospitality. We highly recommend this villa for a cozy and memorable getaway.

The hotel is located just beside the public market, its not a luxury hotel but its good enough , rooms are spacious, quiet . Staff are friendly, its a km away or 100 pesos tricycle ride to the the lively Tourist area where you can join the island tour. But near the hotel there is also a port area name Curong Curong where you can just walk and join the island tour. Breakfast is not bad, Rice, bread, eggs, veggies and Two kind of meat that changes everyday. Not much restaurant around the hotel area, Town Square has a ton of restaurant.

This is a bit of a special place. The hotel is right at its own private beach. It‘s very isolated from everything else which can be nice if you don‘t want to leave the hotel at all. We wanted to go to the town some evenings and that is a bit of a challenge. You first have to take a golf car (which only runs until 10pm) and then change into a tricycle. The tricycles won‘t go directly to the hotel because the last bit of the road is too steep and winded. The other option is to walk along the beach for 20 minutes instead of using the golf car for the last bit, which we did a couple of times. It‘s not too dangerous but there are stray dogs.
The food in the hotel restaurant was Italian and just ok, nothing amazing. The service was not great. Two women seem to know how to run a hotel but the rest of the staff were rather useless. They often seemed annoyed, even when we were just ordering food. We once asked about the zipline that is literally next door and they didn‘t know anything about it (price, time, how to get there). They organised a tour for us, which was great, but messed up the booking somehow so the tour guide thought we were only two people instead of four, which resulted in less food for lunch. And then they even charged us more for the tour.
Our room was fine. Clean and no bugs. Yes, you can hear everything but we didn‘t mind that. The room was only made up on request though.
The whole area is beautiful but there were a few things that annoyed us. So I wouldn‘t come back.

It's a nice place in front of the beach but the beach and water are not as beautiful as in the islands. I would recommend it if you want to open your eyes and see the beautiful sea and mountains around. The only bad thing is there is not a nice lobby where you can sit, chill and wait for your transportation. :)

Small rooms, next to a party street. The size, service and even the location are not worth the money, to be honest. But at that moment there were no options, no choice. All the ports were closed, and the hotels were sold out and there was nowhere to go. We took it for one night.
