"The hotel has a beautiful garden, a large parking lot, and a very nice pool. We happened to check in during an event, and the room we got wasn't great, but the hotel apologized for it. It's a 10-minute drive to the whale watching spot. Hotel prices in Monterey aren't cheap, and we had a comfortable Chinese meal at the pier."

"On a large lot, the yard is beautifully landscaped with plenty of parking. There is also a small swimming pool but it was a bit cold so we didn't use it. The room facilities are quite complete at this price. There is a capsule coffee machine and the coffee tastes good. The surrounding environment also seems relatively safe, and there are no homeless or strange people. There is at least one Chinese restaurant and several fast food restaurants within a 5-minute walk, so eating out is not a problem if you don't have high requirements. Two minor issues: There is a railway nearby, and the passing trains will honk a little noisy; there are ants in the room, especially when you bring back food without processing it."

"The sea view room was nice, but it wasn't in the same location as the front desk office; you had to cross the street. The parking lot wasn't large, but the elevator was convenient. The front desk staff only came out after we rang the bell; they seemed to be sleeping. We rang the bell several times before they came out, and their attitude wasn't very good. They deducted money from our bill without explanation, and the deductions were in whole or odd amounts (the same as the room rate), causing a lot of confusion. Only when we asked at checkout did they say it was a pre-authorization and that it would be refunded. It's been over a week since we returned home, and the pre-authorization hasn't been canceled. The room was quite large, clean, and had a distant sea view. On the second day, before checkout time, a staff member knocked on the door several times, which was very annoying."

"Although it is a motel, the overall is very satisfied. Environmental sanitation and clean rooms. It is the best in the motel I have ever lived in. There is a small refrigerator and coffee machine in the room, no bottled water is provided."

"The hotel in Monterey is really expensive, probably because it is the first stop of many self-driving highways 1, plus weekends, it costs almost 1,000 yuan to live in such a motel. There are various motels along the street where the hotel is located. This one is at the end of the street. Not far away is the shopping area, and driving to town is not far away. The hotel is an open space with free parking. No breakfast. The room is not big, the facilities and equipment are relatively old, and it has some taste. Fortunately, the windows can be opened for some ventilation. The air conditioner was very loud and noisy. It can only be said that there is no way to live in a store, the price is not very cost-effective."

GGuest UserEvery employee was exceptional, helpful and friendly. The location is great except for getting in an out with a vehicle. The rooms were very nice, the bed was comfortable and clean. The two issues I had with the room were promptly corrected by maintenance (bad toilet flush and light bulb which was very loud). The restaurant was good, though the server was not exceptional. You feel welcome at every area within the hotel, every employee greets you as you pass. Only bad thing that I can say is that, I am allergic to dogs and could tell from the moment I slept in the room that there had been a dog or pet in the room prior. This lead to some discomfort that I was not prepared for. A bit of warning should be given to those with allergies so that other arrangements could be made.

MM280980****This was my first time staying at a motel. The facilities were similar to those of budget hotels in China—clean and new. It had its own small yard, and parking was relatively safe. The only downside was that when I arrived at night, there was no one at the front desk; I had to press the disabled access bell to get someone to check me in. There's a commercial area across the street with supermarkets and restaurants, making dining convenient. The 17 Mile Golf Resort in town (which charges an entrance fee) has beautiful scenery and is well worth a visit.

MMihnsooIt was an excellent hotel & resort. The room was nice and tidy, with a bathroom with good shower water pressure. Its breakfast was also excellent with good and friendly service. Only thing it lacks was elevator, so I recommend the first floor room with patio.

GGAEUNThe interior of the room is the same as the picture. It was a good size and clean. There are similar inns side by side around. And 15 minutes walk away, there's a shopping center. But the sound insulation is not very good, our room is on the second floor, there seems to be noise between floors I'm very careful when I walk Breakfast is really simple, so I don't think you should expect it. Still, I had a good night .^^

GGuest UserI was given a semi-basement room with a narrow skylight when I checked in, and I decisively changed to a second-floor balcony room. If you are not satisfied with your stay, you must change the room, otherwise you will feel that our Chinese are easy to fool. The area near the hotel is very suitable for vacation and very comfortable.

EEric N.Great location! I had a conference at the Monterey Conference which is less than a 3 min walk! Only thing was that there was no AC, I’m so used to assuming that hotels always have AC, but it was my bad for not checking ahead of time. I asked for a roll out bed, and they were able to provide that, depending on availability at no extra cost. Had a good stay! Quite historical hotel.
