The breakfast buffet was impressive, beautifully arranged and delicious. It was the nicest breakfast buffet I’d ever seen. The restaurant staff were really nice. Hotel offered a complimentary “shuttle service” which is a ride in two really nice Mercedes cars. This service is just to certain spots. Drivers spoke good English and were really nice. The reception staff was a bit of hid and miss, some spoke good enough English and some were considerably better. They were never rude but maybe not as friendly as in other places we stayed. The rooms were really nice and comfortable. They had special amenities for children and super cute pjs. It is a really nice boutique hotel.

The front desk 竹村, on June 18th 10:50, she told us there’s no pick up service after check out (there is), without offering any assistance to deliver our bags to the station. We feel that the staffs are poorly trained when it comes to the hotel facility nor their communication skills. The hotel itself is highly enjoyable especially the hot spring! Everything is brand new and the surroundings are epic! I’m sorry to have to minus one star because of 竹村’s poor reaction to customers’ requests.

There are three rooms in the two-story villa, one of which has four beds and the other two beds. Each room has a bathtub. The open-air hot spring in the room is very small and can only accommodate one person, but the bathroom has a large jacuzzi and a TV. The vacation is really great. The ski resort is very close, and you can play at the age of three. Aolai has a few big names that are still expensive. The sukiyaki pot and teppanyaki in the hotel are great. If you bring children, it is more suitable than Hoshino, and Hoshino Hot Spring can not go. The hot spring in the hotel is already very good. There is a big supermarket, Delice, which is 15 minutes by taxi. You can buy things and cook in the room. The cooking in the room is very convenient. The waiter can wash the dishes. It is perfect.

Rice is indeed delicious. I didn't expect breakfast to be great, as I wrote before, but it exceeded my expectations. The inn is a level that I think it was good just to be able to sleep. I waited for more than an hour with hot water to take a shower, but it didn't come out. Is it really Japan? I am sorry that the staff did not treat you well.

We visited Karuizawa in the winter and stayed at the Shinonome Salon. It's only about a 10 minute brisk walk from the Karuizawa shinkansen station along pavements so easy to pull your luggage along with you. The name is confusing but I guess they wanted to call their hotel a saloon but ended up spelling it like a hairdresser. Check-in was smooth and without incident. We arrived late in the evening and although only one person was on duty they did expect us. Our booking.com form was printed out ready for our check-in. There are no elevators in this hotel so you have to lug your baggage up the stairs yourself. The old man who I think is resident there tried to help but he struggled with our heavy suitcases. If you're not strong and your baggage is heavy you might want to request the bottom floor. One annoying feature of the hotel is that you cannot wear your own shoes past the lobby area. You need to switch out of your shoes and place them in the provided lockers and wear the provided slip-ons instead. Annoying but I can live with it. The rooms are small and the toilet tiny. But they are clean. No rollaways for a third person possible in this room. The two beds were small singles. I notice chips on all furniture in the room probably caused by suitcases hitting the furniture given the tight space available. While not pretty to look at it didn't take away from the cleanliness in general. The toilet has a japanese style bathtub which is deep and requires a big step over. Anyone with disabilities might find it a bit difficult. I guess the tub acts as a makeshift onsen. The room includes amenities but I recommend you bring your own soap and shampoo. Hotel amenities in Japan are micro sized and barely adequate and are just a token gesture. The room has a heater and kept the room warm but all the switches were in Japanese. I did figure out how to adjust the temperature eventually. Breakfast was good and adequate even for the largest of appetites and I recommend you include this in your stay. My android phone was able to pick up Wifi in the room but not Apple iPhones. They did say at check-in Wifi was available only in the lobby area. Overall a decent comfortable stay and will consider staying again in future.

The hotel is a small European-style building located on the main street of the town. There is a beautiful garden and parking garage opposite the tourist association. The room is very large in Japan with a balcony, and the upstairs can be heated indoors and open air. The front desk of the hotel can communicate with people in English. The breakfast variety is more than the self-service form. The price of 2,500 yen is not cheap. The hotel bicycle rental is more expensive. There is a rental shop next to 100 meters and the car is particularly light and easy to ride.

The hotel is just a 5 minute walk from Karuizawa station. Take the north exit on the bridge/walkway after coming up from Shinkansen platform, it's the left. There's a tourist info with helpful people at the end of the corridor, and an escalator next to it. Once you come out, with your back to the station, walk straight down the road, and take left at the first traffic light, near the Shell station. The hotel is opposite Family Mart. Staff are friendly and helpful. Room was generous-sized with an ante-room which has a fridge, some storage cupboards and the main room is nice and big with a good-sized bed. They provide 2 bottles of water. You can take day trips to Naka Karuizawa, Shiraiito Falls among other destinations using the bus service outside the station. It's a lot easier if you have Suica card or you will need to carry many 1000 yen notes. On the way back you can you can stop off at Kyu Karuizawa and walk the streets of Old Ginza. It can also be reached by foot, takes about 25-30 minutes.

The property is very charming and the photos shown are true to actual. Location is a bit far from the station so best to arrange the shuttle bus service or take a cab. Room is neat and cosy and the private onsen is a nice bonus. Breakfast is lovely and the fresh vegetables were amazing however the dinner was a let down as it wasn’t served in the restaurant. Instead we were provided with a voucher for redemption at the bar. The food is just average, beef was not very fresh, and your clothes and hair reek of smell after dinner as they cook the food right at the bar.

It is recommended not to choose Karuizawa if domestic friends come to Japan and want to ski. Karuizawa is a favorite of Hong Kong and Taiwanese. And it is expensive because it is close to Tokyo, but the skiing conditions are nothing compared to Hakuba. There are so many people, it takes too much time to line up to rent clothes and equipment and to line up for the cable car, and the equipment and cable car tickets are twice as much as Baima. Last time I went to Baima to stay at the same price as this hotel, but the facilities at Baima Hotel are too strong. There are few Asians in the White Horse and many whites. Please coaches are all white coaches. In Hakuba Village, Japan, you can take a bus to Hakuba Goryong Station.

It is easy to understand because it is close to Karuizawa Station and is located on the main street. However, it is difficult to understand the entrance of the hotel, but I wondered if I should enter from the restaurant. Only standard double rooms are available for dogs. It's pretty narrow. It feels like a stylish business hotel. The bed is comfortable. There is a large dog gauge toilet sheet and a butt wipe. The bathroom and toilet are in the same room, but they are large. I was interested in the toilet. Should I remove the toilet seat when cleaning? The amenities were in a cute cloth bag for two people, but there was no toothbrush in one cloth bag. There are 2 bottles of mineral water in the wine cellar. It's a pity that there is no pot. It would be nice to have a water server that can produce hot water without a pot. There are 2 coin laundry machines. Ice maker, juice and alcohol are sold by themselves. The restaurant is delicious, but the amount of dinner and morning is large, and the contents are covered, so it seems that you will get tired of staying for consecutive nights or using it frequently ... The taste is strong (good compatibility with alcohol) Even for people with small children I was there, but maybe my kids aren't likely to eat it. Dessert also has an adult taste. The restaurant is very cold near the entrance and on the window side and requires a coat. All the staff are kind. It is cheap considering the food and convenience for the price. Especially recommended for those who want to enjoy the whole of Karuizawa and enjoy Spanish cuisine. I want to use it again.

Bringing the dog to stay together, very satisfied in all aspects. The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from Karuizawa Station, and there is a free shuttle service, which is very considerate. The hotel facilities are very clean. Although it is a pet hotel, the rooms and public areas do not have any unpleasant smell. Both indoor and outdoor are equipped with a dog run and a dog salon where you can take photos. It was fun to communicate and play with other dogs in the public area. The hotel can provide pick-up and drop-off, which we didn't know until the day we left. The waiter asked us if we needed to be sent to the station. There were 6 of us in the group and we had a lot of luggage, and the hotel sent it to the station for free. I guess you can call the hotel and ask them to pick you up when you get to the Shinkansen station. If you are walking, walk south for 13 minutes after exiting the Shinkansen station and turn right for 2 minutes to reach the hotel. The hotel is in a forest, and there is a church next to it. The scenery nearby is very good, and there are three choices for breakfast. Very close to the old Karuizawa sightseeing and dining street. The hotel is a bit old, but the service is still very good.

Design hotel space is a nice gem. It was a cold winter when we were there. The hotel feels like a warehouse converted into 2 levels. The ceiling in the toilet is not tall. One thing i liked about the hotel is the heater. It is strong and makes the room comfortable at 1 degree outside the hotel. It is about 10 mins walk from the outlet shopping mall. One advice is to finish your shopping in the outlet before the sky turns dark. Reason is because there are no lighting (pitch dark) when we were walking along the street to the hotel. Will definitely stay again if I am at karuizawa with the affordable price and comfortable room.

I originally wanted to buy a wooden house in Xizizi, but the price doubled on Friday. So I booked this cabin with the same price on Friday and Thursday. It was already dark when we arrived at Karuizawa at around 5 o'clock. I followed the navigation guide and walked 1.4km. The first half of the journey was in the outlet shopping street and it was okay to walk around. The second half of the journey also passed through an express highway, then went up the mountain road and walked to the navigation office. I couldn’t find the store and there was no one there😹 because there was only a Japanese brand. At the end the shop owner came out. The cabin is very warm, has kitchen equipment (you should buy some food), and has a hot spring to soak in. The view is great when you wake up in the morning.
