"Although it's a guesthouse, the overall facilities and service are beyond 5-star. The hotel is a renovated historic ticket office. You enter through a bookstore and pass a long corridor to reach the front desk. As soon as I checked in, the front desk upgraded me to a suite, which immediately made a great impression. To maintain privacy, the hotel has a security gate, and only registered guests can access the residential area with their key cards. That's another plus! My room was on the third floor, accessible by elevator. The room was very spacious, and the bedding was perfectly comfortable – neither too soft nor too firm. Stepping out of the room, you could see a large public terrace. Looking out, I could admire the lush, natural scenery of the distant mountains, which was absolutely refreshing. While the breakfast variety wasn't as extensive as a 5-star hotel, it was still very plentiful and, more importantly, much more thoughtful and heartfelt than typical hotel breakfasts. Many local snacks were carefully selected and ordered by the hotel, such as Wang Tianshun's seaweed cakes, an old brand's wontons from the market, Sanhe & Simei's fermented tofu, freshly fried mini fritters, and local noodles. The coffee was also excellent. Because the breakfast was so uniquely local and delicious, I ended up eating a lot every morning! The hotel's location is also very central. Longxing Temple, Ziyang Street, and the entrance to the ancient city wall are all nearby. There are also many local restaurants around the hotel, offering plenty of choices. Yet, the hotel itself manages to be a tranquil oasis in the bustling city, and my room was very quiet. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Linhai!"

"The room was cleaned by a auntie who worked very hard. The lobby was large and the location of the hotel was good. It was located around the new city, close to Ziyang Street, and convenient for taxis. The breakfast specials of glutinous rice and fried dough sticks were delicious."

"The guesthouse boasts charming architecture and the rooms are spotlessly clean. The owner and her team are incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive to guests' needs. The guesthouse features balconies, a tea room, and there's a washing machine and dryer available in the courtyard. Its location is excellent, being very close to Ziyang Street, Longxing Temple, and the Xinghan Gate of the city wall! If you're planning a trip to Shenxianju, you can take an early morning taxi to Linhai South Station, catch a high-speed train to Xianju South Station, and then take another taxi directly to Shenxianju. It's perfectly doable as a day trip, so there's no need to stay overnight there. If you're ever in Linhai, Taizhou, this is absolutely the place to stay! :)"

"This accommodation experience was great. On the day we arrived in Linhai, we contacted the front desk in advance because it was not yet the 12 o'clock check-in time. The front desk staff was very considerate to help us clean a room in advance and upgraded the room with mountain view for free. The facilities in the room are very new, and the hotel is very close to the attractions we are going to. I will still consider Atour for my next trip☺"

"I'm very satisfied! I always stay at Atour, and this coastal Jianyue is particularly unique. It's small but beautiful, with a lively inner courtyard pond full of fish and turtles. The service was also very thoughtful; they informed me about the parking route in advance, and there's an EV charger at 1.2 RMB per kWh, which is super convenient for electric car owners on a short trip! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Taizhou!"

"As an ordinary tourist, I'd give Yuanzhou Hotel a 98 out of 100. Advantages: 1. The hotel butler added us on WeChat a day in advance to arrange room type, free parking, dining, etc. Even though it was a weekday check-in, the butler thoughtfully upgraded all three of our rooms. 2. The VIP reception staff greeted everyone politely. On the day of our arrival, the receptionist went directly to the underground parking garage to help us with our luggage and accompanied us upstairs. The toiletries in the room were from Atelier Cologne, and when we asked for a few more samples, the hotel readily agreed. 3. The VIP building is separate from the regular guest room floor, avoiding noise. The afternoon tea in the executive lounge also solved the problem of awkward meal times after visiting Guoqing Temple and Tiantai Mountain. 4. The breakfast selection was quite extensive, including regular food and seaside specialty snacks, and the dining environment was comfortable. There were actually more dishes available after 8 am than at 7 am. 5. The two-night package we chose cost around 650 RMB per day, including unlimited drinks at the minibar and late-night seafood noodles, which was great value. If you have plenty of energy, the package including city wall tickets and transportation seems even more cost-effective. Driving from the hotel to the nearest city gate is less than a 10-minute drive. Areas for improvement: 1. Both rooms had a slight sewage backflow smell in the bathroom, but it didn't spread to the sleeping areas. 2. The quality of the napkins in the room could be improved. Also, we were in a rush when checking out, and the front desk may have forgotten about the souvenir. Before we even reached the high-speed rail station, the butler contacted us and arranged for it to be delivered. Thank you so much!"

Dinner at the hotel in the same style as the aunties in the village come together to help make delicious food. The unusual and delicious thing is the pumpkin dish. Dinner appointment at 5:00 p.m. That is, put the food in time. Regardless, the guests haven't all arrived yet. The weather is cool and the food will cool quickly. I'm a bit disappointed about the management. There are many types of rooms. Big room, suitable for adults, on the first floor, no need to climb stairs. But the view won't be there. The room will be a bit dull. A room on the upper floor would be better, bright, with a view. The room is clean. You can soak in hot water in a slightly Japanese style. Suitable for families to chill. You can do outdoor activities at the field. Breakfast is simple. Overall ok."

"A low-key and cozy mountain B&B. The room is not big but very comfortable. The two owners had their own unique insights into the decoration and management of the B&B, and they had a very good chat. The dishes on the dinner table are the taste of the mountains, simple and delicious. In the early morning, I woke up to the chirping of mountain birds. Outside the window, I saw the distant mountains and mist, the clear stream, the white goose and the old trees. I suddenly felt like I was in the Tang and Song Dynasties."

The owner is exceptionally kind and provides attentive service, including pick-up and drop-off service from the station, making guests feel right at home. Highly recommended!"

"Love everything about this facility! Very thoughtful set up. Would love to have view from the other side (presumably looking at old town). The breakfast though was a bit disappointing and the soy milk was burnt (the burnt smell was distinct)."

"The guesthouse is very close to Ziyang Street. It doesn't look very big, with a small courtyard that's tastefully furnished. We stayed on the first floor near the courtyard gate. The room door couldn't be locked from the inside and had no safety latch; the guesthouse said this was a requirement of the local police. The windows couldn't be closed completely, which made us feel insecure. The service was okay; they provided a complimentary drink and a refreshing herbal porridge upon check-in, one cup per person, which was a welcome relief in the heat. Unfortunately, that was the only cup available; when we asked for another, they said they were out of stock. Before check-in, the guesthouse contacted us in advance via WeChat to provide directions and travel guidance. The bedding was quite comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well. The bathroom sink looked unclean; it was old, yellowed, and reddish."

"For this trip to Linhai, we stayed at Fucheng Yin Hotel. We initially chose it because of its excellent location, within walking distance of the city wall and Ziyang Old Street. After checking in, we found the staff to be young, proactive, and enthusiastic; we were particularly impressed by a tall, thin young man with long hair. The room amenities were of high quality, and drinks and fruit were replenished daily. The breakfast was small but delicious, and the dining environment was pleasant and quiet, perfect for us. We were initially worried about the hotel's location in a residential area, but it wasn't inconvenient at all. The hotel has electric carts, and as long as it's not raining, you can easily walk around."

"This was my first time staying at this B&B with its Republic of China era style, and as soon as I stepped into the courtyard, I was amazed by the white architecture. The front desk staff was not only enthusiastic and attentive in helping us check in, but also upgraded our room. The room service included welcome fruits and a tea ceremony around a stove. The room's facilities were perfect. Standing by the window, I could see the swaying green trees outside and the lazy cats lounging in the courtyard, making me feel incredibly peaceful and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was also exquisite and delicious. My friend and I have already agreed to come back again, I absolutely love this place!"
