"Currently on holiday here and a few things I wish I had knew before coming. All inclusive. Breakfast 8-10.30am - the usual breakfast but most of the hot food is lukewarm warm. Good selection of fruits, pastries, cereal with milk at room temp. Lunch: 1-3.30 and dinner 7.30-9pm usual stuff, rice dish, meats, quite nice, kids corner (very average) but it’s AI and there’s always something to find that’s there for everyone’s taste Rooms: clean which is a big thumbs up. Be cautious here. we had to DEMAND a room change. We got allocated a pool view and if you are wanting to relax or have children and want to be in bed at a sensible time avoid these at all costs. The first 3 night we had music blasting until nearly 1am and residents chanting on. With doors closed and pillows over heads it was unbearable!!!! If I bc old upload the video of how loud I would but staff agreed when it was played back to them. We got reallocated with a back room which has been really peaceful with Mountain View’s. ONE LAST ONE: tea or coffee. No facilities in room for a morning brew which is a massive downer for me. Nothing nicer than just enjoying that morning brew on your balcony. Pool: ok here we go for this family hotel. Pool opens 10am. No reservation of sunbeds (I agree with this because people who claim beds then leave them empty until afternoon are clearly arrogant and this stops this.) you can put towels down but you are required to stay with your towel or it will be removed. No floating aids, rings, pool noodles or balls or anything. So save your money in advance it’s a simple NO. A bit of a downer for a family based hotel. Also I’ve never seen pool cleaned since arriving. Lots of gravel on bottom, found grapes, bottle tops but no number 2s so it could be worse! Pool snacks: back to all inclusive no snacks available at pool bar no fries, no ice cream, you have to get dressed and go down to the restaurant. The snacks unfortunately are left over stuff from previous meal. Very disappointing. We went to a supermarket next door for some crisps for the children but were quickly approached and told if we want to eat these you have to do so in your room. Also until 11am all inclusive is unavailable so any drinks you have to purchase with them. Staff: staff are friendly and very helpful. They have a good kids club team although I think the program is still just ok. Life guards, kitchen staff, reception all happy to help and again cleaning service is very good! The location is nice. Santa Susanna is chilled, right next to station if you want day trip. Beach opposite nice but drops deep very quick! Nice shops and near by restaurants at tourist prices. Would I stay at this hotel again. No. It’s just not family based enough for me. The all inclusive package is very poor compared to other hotels I have visited in past. Evening entertainment has been poor but if you’re easily pleased and enjoy listening to the macerana every night you will be fine! 5/10"

"Fantastic mini getaway with the family. I agree with other reviewers, this is definitely one of the best buffet we’ve experienced (and we travel a lot). If you love fish and seafood then look no further! They always have all sorts of grilled/stewed meats on offer as well. Plenty of choices for the kids too eg pizza,pasta stations, fish and chicken nuggets and there’s always French fries! Staff in the restaurant are all amazing and nothing would be too much trouble. Angelique front of house is lovely. Reception ladies and gent are all very polite and gracious. The pool a little cold this time of year but that didn’t stop my kids to jump in and join in the fun with the animation one-man-band Lucas! He absolutely never stops and always gets the atmosphere pool side fun and lively. We had a family suite with side sea view on the 5th Floor. Very spacious, clean and modern decor. Service by the pool amazing too, shout out to Renzo for doing a great job doing his rounds for drink orders. Overall we highly recommend this resort and hope to come back in the future."

"BAR: We stayed in the Reymar hotel for 6 nights. We stayed there because my daughter had basketball. I’ll start off with a high. The bar was amazing. The drinks were nice good price. The bar staff were extremely friendly and they could do cool tricks. It’s always the same workers working day and night. They run around the place giving people their drinks and cheques. FOOD: As an Irish person I just lived off of chips and bread rolls most of the week. The odd time there was a chocolate fountain, pizza, burgers. There was a good enough selection of food just that I didn’t like it. STAFF: The staff working at the buffet were extremely rude. You needed a blue card to get in and they mark off every time you came in so you would only get 1 meal and didn’t come in several times. They are very strict which is fair enough but it went to the fact that they made my daughter cry. There was 2 people on the card and she was trying to explain that only 1 person was coming in now and the other later but they started shouting at her angrily in Spanish. She didn’t know what they were saying and they didn’t know what my daughter was saying but just kept shouting. After awhile I heard them and went to check to see what was happening and my daughter was crying. I’d never want that to happen to anyone else so I just wanted to say that. To make matters worse the 2 women (1 with short red/purple hair and the other blond with glasses) kept staring at us there next day whispering and laughing. None of them knew English. RECEPTION: There was a few receptionists. They were all extremely helpful. Most had decent English. They were always there to help. ROOMS: Rooms were very basic. The beds were all single and some pushed together. The rooms were small enough. You have to bring what you need eg. iron, shampoo, conditioner. The beds are really lovely and the pillows are too. You immediately sink into them. POOL:The pool was amazing. It’s a bit small but when we were there it was very busy and there was still a lot of room. There is a lovely hot tub and jacuzzi and a sauna. There aren’t many lounges but they aren’t really needed. ENTERTAINMENT: The entertainment in the evening was very good. There was a lot of elderly dancing to all old Spanish music that as Irish we didn’t know. But if we were to go to an Irish hotel we would probably want Irish music. There was a very good atmosphere and a lot of time for a nice o’l dance. The only thing I will say is if you have young children or want to go to bed early it can be fairly noisy. THINGS TO DO: There is a lot to do. There is a train passing by that can take you even to barselona. There is a lot of streets with lovely shops bars and restaurants. There is an amusement park just 5 mins walk. There is a beach that you have to go under a tunnel to get there. There are inflatables just there on the beach that are really fun. The water can get pretty deep very quickly. The waves are very big in the evening and you can "

"Hotel is far from a 4 star !!! I stayed here with my sons, food is vile the selection is rubbish, the pool is disgusting and the small pool was actually green when I visited! Staff barely speak English, they don’t fix water leaking from a light bulb just turn the light off and put a towel down? Sun loungers were more or less all faulty. Kids entertainment was always shut! And they only seem to play Spanish games as entertainment at night time. Id never return to this hotel even if it was free of charge !!"

"This is one of the worst hotels and owners around. The front desk staff will be your meal server, manager, and handyman. They have zero staff and will take your money up front and provide zero service. This is by no mean a sport hotel or a hotel for families. Rooms are horrible and water drainage is a massive issue. Owner will come in and hide and pretend he's a server. This hotel is a scam and should be shut down. DO NOT BOOK unless you want to be ripped off. The place looks nothing like the pictures."

"We are currently on day 3 of a 10-night holiday at Santa Susanna Resort Hotel, and unfortunately our experience has been very disappointing so far. The biggest issue is our room. It is completely unsuitable for our family, as I have had to share a bed with my 13-year-old son due to the lack of adequate sleeping arrangements. We raised this with reception as soon as possible, but were told there are no other rooms or beds available. We also asked to speak with a manager, but were informed that no management were on site. The rooms consist of a double bed and 2 singles. The pool is another major disappointment. It appears to be poorly maintained and never seems to be cleaned properly. It is often full of clumps of hair, tissues, dirt, and the water is very murky. This is unpleasant and raises concerns about hygiene. The outdoor jacuzzi has been out of order throughout our stay so far, despite being advertised as one of the hotel's facilities. Another thing worth mentioning is that some of the rooms do not have a terrace or balcony. Instead, there is only a very small window, which makes the room feel dark, enclosed, and lacking in ventilation. At this stage, only 3 days into a 10-night stay, we are extremely disappointed. We had expected much better accommodation, cleaner facilities, and better customer service. Hopefully the hotel will address these issues, but based on our experience so far and speaking with other guests who have similar issues i doubt they will actually do anything. I would not recommend this hotel"
