My recent stay at V Grand Hotel Ooty was an absolute delight, truly exceeding all expectations. If you're looking for luxury without the hefty price tag, this is your spot.
The rooms are incredibly luxurious, boasting 5-star amenities for what felt like a 3-star price. From the moment I stepped in, I was impressed by how modern and well-appointed everything was. They’ve thought of everything: a hot water dispenser right in the room, a large Sony TV with seamless Wi-Fi connectivity, and even a comfy recliner single-seater sofa. Plus, the convenience of a separate foldable extra bed is a huge bonus. What truly surprised me was how cozy and warm the room stayed, even without a heater – perfect for Ooty's cool climate.
Location-wise, it's ideal. V Grand Hotel is very close to Charring Cross, putting you right at the heart of Ooty's action, yet it remains remarkably calm and silent.

GGuest UserRooms' interiors, reception, restaurant and parking facility are good. Below are points where the hotel needs to work. 1. Repair the water leakage in the rooms as well as in the washroom. 2. During peak times, improve the strength of manpower for the breakfast buffet and also maintain something to keep food warm. I felt almost every guest had problems with getting utensils or warm food.

GGuest UserGreat location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.
