XXimenningyanThe room is on the fourth floor, clean and sanitary. The four-piece suit and bath towels are very comfortable. There are two kinds of pillows with moderate hardness and softness. The toiletries are very useful. The room is not big but it has everything it should have. The kettle is clean and easy to use. The disposable slippers are of good quality. There is also a laundry room on the roof for drying. The water flow of the shower is not too strong and I hope it can be improved. I don't like the smart toilet flushing when I sit down. Breakfast is clean and sanitary rice noodles, corn and eggs. There is also a bar downstairs where you can drink coffee and wine. Outside the door is a beautiful lotus pond. The village is very clean and there are many beautiful plants and flowers. It is only a few minutes' walk from the lake. The boss is very nice and enthusiastic. He provides a lot of help. The recommended restaurants and morning markets are very good. It is convenient to take a taxi, and there are also shared electric motorcycles for rent in the surrounding area. In short, it is a homestay worth coming again.

AAnonymous UserIt is a nice and clean place, with large rooms and pleasant, traditional-looking but modern design. If the location was not so remote from practically everything (except the industrial environment around it), the overall impression would have been much more powerful. But the location makes sense if you want to stay anywhere between the larger urban area of Yuxi and its southern suburban zones, where you may experience the popular lifestyle and annual summer festivities (such as Torch Festival) of Yu people and other Chinese national minorities inhabiting this region.

GGuest UserThe hotel is strategically located, very close to Yuxi Railway Station, within walking distance of Wanda Plaza, and has convenient transportation. The hotel facilities are very new, the waiters are very efficient, and the hotel also provides free lunch. Overall, the experience is very good. I originally booked two nights, but ended up extending my stay for one more night. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I have the opportunity.

The manager was incredibly kind and welcoming from the start, offering us local teas and explaining their origins with genuine passion, which we really appreciated.

I passed by Fuxian Lake last year when I was going around the lake. I thought this beach was very comfortable. I thought it would be beautiful to stay in a hotel here, but I didn't have the chance to stay at that time.
Excited and unable to hold back my hands, I immediately searched for hotels nearby. During my search, I came across Gu Yue Boutique Hotel. I like the decoration style very much, and the price at that time was over 600+.
But I just wanted to stay, and I was debating whether to book a lake next to it.
Everything just happened to be at the right time. I decided to come at around 8pm on February 1st and contacted an old friend from 7-8 years ago. He happened to be coming to Yuxi for something and could stay with us for 2 days. Book the high-speed rail ticket on the same day to catch up with the end of the Spring Festival. We will set off from my hometown on February 4th. The high-speed rail will arrive at Pu'er at Yuxi Station at 8 a.m. on February 5th. In the afternoon, we will go to Mu Cafe☕️ to check in and take beautiful photos, and in the evening we will go to Weilian Fishing Village for dinner. , arrived at the hotel after driving for 1 hour.
Check in to Star Fish Cave, Xi’an Club, and Internet Celebrity Bridge on 2.6th day.
Return to Yuxi on the 2.7th and check in to Yuxi Gauff Bar
We arrived in Pu'er from Yuxi at 10 o'clock on the 8th, and returned directly to Menglian in the afternoon, just in time to go home for the New Year😄😄
The location of the B&B is excellent. You can take a boat to Gushan Island just across the road. My sister and I came together. She is afraid of water, so we canceled the boat trip and went to the Internet Celebrity Bridge and the Star Fish Cave. The water in Star Fish Cave is very clear. Picture 7 is really the Yunnan version of the Maldives.
This is my third time coming to Fuxian Lake. I stayed at Moon Bay before.
In addition, the photos of the sunrise taken at the hotel were beautiful (Picture 2), and the rice noodles for breakfast at the hotel were also delicious.
I really like the decoration style of the B&B bar. Guests staying in the hotel are given two cups of cocktails/coffee every day. It coincides with the peak season of the Spring Festival fireworks. I opened the curtains in the hotel room and admired the beautiful fireworks. I was in a hurry and didn’t have time to take pictures, so I borrowed the photos from downstairs. Our room was higher than his room. When the curtains were drawn, huge fireworks exploded there. The effect was simply wonderful, so comfortable and beautiful.

We couldn't finish the 2 baskets at the hotel, so we decided to give one basket to the hotel and keep one for ourselves.
When I booked the room, I added the hotel staff on WeChat. I kept asking the staff because I was worried about the weather. The staff was very enthusiastic. The girl went out to take photos of the blue sky outside, which made me feel at ease. She also installed a door to record a video of the room for me, so I thought of giving her some strawberries to eat.
There was something wrong with the electric toilet in the bathroom of the room. I didn't know how to fix it at first, so I contacted her and she asked the store manager to help us solve it. But after she left, the water kept buzzing. I turned off the electricity, but the water still kept flowing and kept making a buzzing sound. There is a water switch on the left side of the toilet behind it. I turn it off when not in use and flush it. Once it is opened, there will be no problem. It will not affect anything. It just allows you to do more movements and treat it as a physical exercise!

We cannot say enough about this beautiful hotel, located in a picturesque village along the northeastern coast of Fuxian Lake. Positives: 1. the location is AMAZING. The village itself feels very Mediterranean and houses over 30 boutique-style hotels. 2. This specific hotel has the most beautiful Chinese garden. My husband and I spent ample time just sitting in the garden chatting and looking at the beautiful flowers. They also have a basket swing our kids played on. 3. The design of the hotel is beautiful…..thatched roofing and wooden doors on the outside, reeded ceilings with wooden beams on the inside…..it all looked so warm and lovely. 4. Our specific room was a 2-level lake view family suite that had a terrace outside the upper level bedroom (which was the “master”). The view from this upper bedroom was so gorgeous….prime view of the lake. 5. The bathroom in our suite was modern and seemed to have some kind of heating fan over the shower area which was an added bonus. 6. The breakfast was traditional Chinese style. By this time, we were at the end of our trip and were a bit tired of rice noodles for breakfast (we are used to western-style breakfasts), but as soon as we tasted this hotel’s rice noodles, it was easy to forget we were tired of them. They were delicious! The owner also served us steamed milk and some kind of sweet steamed bread. It was all very tasty!
Negatives: I truly do not have any. And I usually always have something I critique about hotels. But this place was truly a 5-star stay for us. It was gorgeous and the owner was so sweet.

GGuest UserThe family hotel is ran by some very nice people. We found them to be very helpful. The check-in process was quick. We are a Chinese and Canadian couple, so we must register with the local police authorities. The owners of this hotel followed the rules and made it easy for everyone. The hotel itself is very clean. Nice big fluffy towels! The location is just off the retail section of Yuxi in an industrial section, so walking to the train station is easy, and getting downtown on foot is easy too.

GGuest UserWe booked online a ”standard single room”, for two people. We were in a hurry so we didn't look carefully all the info online, we only saw that the room was 15 m². When we arrived, we realized that 1/ the room is much smaller than that (there's basically only room for the double bed, nothing else) 2/ the toilets and bathroom are shared. We are a couple travelling on a budget, so we're totally okay with shared bathrooms, but this one was really small and also smelly, so we asked to change for a better room, with private bathroom. This new room was fine, but in the end, we paid a total of 68 yuan, for a much more basic room than other rooms we slept in for lower prices. Apart from that, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is great, directly next to a lot of shops and delicious street food.
