I've always loved hot springs, so I stayed at Iodani Onsen Kirishima Hotel.
The hot springs at this inn were absolutely gorgeous. There was a spacious open-air bath, and I was able to enjoy a variety of different types, which was very relaxing.
Also, the breakfast buffet had a wide variety of dishes unique to Kagoshima, such as akumaki and chicken rice, which I was able to enjoy to my heart's content.

TTammy MakThis Japanese-style hotel is relatively convenient to drive to. It takes about four or five minutes to drive to the nearest restaurant and shopping area. There is a road outside the hotel's garden/parking lot, and there is no place for walking. It takes about 10-15 minutes to drive to Kirishima Shrine.
The decoration of the hotel is very new, the Japanese-style rooms are large, clean and comfortable, the facilities are complete, and the service is sincere and attentive. There are four independent baths for individual use, two outdoor and two open-air. They are very Japanese style and comfortable to use. Breakfast is eaten at separate intervals in the restaurant, and the food is rich and delicious.
Overall, it was a very enjoyable hot spring trip.
PS. The red leaves on the mountain are so beautiful, great!

YYutingvThe environment is good. Maybe it’s because of winter, but there’s no loud noise. It’s quite peaceful. In order to not have to look for food around, I decisively decided to stay there and have two meals. Dinner was Kaiseki cuisine. I always thought I had a big appetite. Good guy. I'm so full of this meal! Although the portions are small, they add up to a small amount 😂😂. The breakfast is also good and beautiful, but the soup is not good, it is too salty. You can have a cup of coffee after eating☕️. The single hot spring room can be used by families or couples alone. There is a shopping street next to it, so those who want to buy things can have multiple choices.

The Japanese-style garden design is very beautiful. The Japanese-style room we booked was very spacious and included breakfast and dinner. The hotel has its own farm and ingredients. They are all sourced from their own farms, and Wagyu beef can be delivered all over Japan. The breakfast is very exquisite, and for dinner you can enjoy Kaiseki dishes such as Wagyu beef and lobster. The dining service in the room is very good, and you can also choose to eat in the restaurant. The hotel service is very good, providing daily pick-up and drop-off services to the airport, Hayato Station, and Kokubu Station. The hotel staff will proactively ask if you need to make a reservation for pick-up every day, and provide one-on-one pick-up with high-end vehicles. There is free freshly ground coffee in the lobby and free minibars in the rooms. There is a private bath in the room, which can be used indoors or outdoors. The free public bath has three outdoor hot spring pools and one large indoor hot spring pool. The hot spring water is so hot that you will sweat after soaking in it for a while. It is a rare carbonated spring in Japan. Opposite the hotel is a large supermarket with a variety of Kagoshima specialties and fresh ingredients, as well as a convenience store. KKokoVery convenient location if you are looking to explore kirishima natural park. The room is big compared to janaese standards. Free parking on the premises and the breakfast is also very good. The room is ok, it has been remodeled, good place to rest after a long hike. There is a very nice onsen nearby.
The best point of this place was the person in charge, he was very diligent and kind to our every need. Rapidly responding to any doubts.

There are many kinds and it looks like handmade and everything is delicious. Since it is an ordinary dining room, there is no luxury in the atmosphere, but the items prepared were so good that it could be said that it was a four-star hotel class. This time I stayed for 6 nights for sightseeing, but the contents changed every day. It's amazing. They also made omelets with fried eggs or cheese as a service, and it was a 5-star hotel? I thought. Please let me bother you again next time. The staff 々 response and smile were good.
