"Stayed 1N and experienced bed bugs. Both my daughter and I suffered bites all over. Photo below shows only part of it. Caught the bug and handed it over to hotel front desk, first thing they say is can't be from them, I must have brought it in from outside. My son didn't get it because he was sleeping on another bed. They did offer breakfast as apology but more importantly, improve on your cleanliness."

This hostel manages to combine simplicity, comfort, and excellent value, making it suitable not only for young people but also for couples looking to explore Parma at their leisure. Highly recommended, we would gladly return!"

"Considering its facility and price, it was a satisfying stay here: - Not immediately near the city center but by car, it takes only 10 mins which is not bad at all. - free parking lot is a plus - breakfast was simple and minimal but included - room is quite spaceful and modern, based on Italy standard - kind staff - and you can open the window Only down side was you hear everything. "The Verdi Hotel is charming and very climate-friendly. The hotel is dedicated to Giuseppe Verdi, which has been connected to Parma for many years. The rooms are cozy, rather small but for a few days stay. The bathroom is large with very large amounts of towels. It is bidet. In the hotel we only ate breakfasts which are typical Italian breakfasts. There are plenty of sweetness, pie and cakes. There is also of course parmenian ham and parmeggiano cheese. The hotel is located approx. A 15-minute walk from the Old Town and Centre. The hotel is separated from the center of a huge, beautiful park where many people are jogging."

"Having to check in and out at the Novotel, which is far away, is inconvenient and time-consuming. The location is fantastic, a 5-minute walk from the Duomo, but out of three beds, two were a camp bed and a sofa with makeshift, uncomfortable bases. It's not worth the price if you risk waking up with a sore back."
