I've stayed at this hotel three times, and this time, overall, I still think it's good, even though the room assigned wasn't as good as before, and the sea view was quite obstructed by large trees. The first time I stayed was in 2018. Eight years later, the room's sanitary facilities are still very well-maintained; there's no sense of wear and tear. However, the hotel no longer gives out the complimentary hotel-exclusive teddy bear dolls. The club breakfast and afternoon tea were much worse than my previous two visits. The breakfast menu was missing many delicious items. The afternoon tea platter was disappointing; even though it wasn't repetitive over the three days, none of the food was good. The housekeeping, club restaurant, and buggy service staff were all excellent. The hotel has a private beach. Although it's not large, it's not crowded and is very quiet. It's also great for photos. The water in Patong Beach was much cleaner than when I visited in 2020. I heard it was due to the lack of tourists during the pandemic, which allowed for a thorough cleanup. Walking down the slope from the hotel, it's a 5-minute walk straight to Patong Beach. There's a 7-Eleven just 3 minutes away. If you walk straight for 3 minutes, then turn right and walk for another 10 minutes, you'll find a night market that starts setting up stalls in the afternoon. There's a lot of food, and it's cheaper than the Patong Night Market. A tuk-tuk from the hotel to Jungceylon costs 250 to 300 baht. After 8 PM, the price increases for the return trip. Without traffic, it takes about 8 minutes to get there, but during evening rush hour, it can take just under an hour. The hotel front desk didn't inform us that there's a free shuttle to Jungceylon at 1 PM and 7 PM. You need to book in advance, or it might be full. We only remembered this free shuttle service from previous stays on our third day and had to ask about it ourselves. This meant we paid for taxis back and forth for the first few days, so I'm deducting one star for this. The hotel has three swimming pools. I didn't visit the bottom two and only swam at the club pool. There's a popular photo spot in the hotel lobby, but even hotel guests have to buy a drink to take photos there. This is very unaccommodating. I've already paid to stay at the hotel, and I can't even take a picture without an extra charge. So, I'm deducting another star for this. The mini-bar in the club room is only replenished once. There isn't much good food or drink anyway, but only getting it once for a 3 or 5-day stay feels a bit stingy.

Definitely not for people with mobility issues other than that a lovely hotel.

We’ve spent 3 nights here. The hotel is beautiful, and the room was very spacious. I really appreciated that the staff upgraded our room. Getting around was a bit tiring since we had to use the shuttle bus every time to reach the lobby. However, all the staff provided excellent service, and the breakfast had a wide variety of options. The seafood buffet dinner was decent as well. One thing to be mindful of is that there were quite a lot of insects. Overall, though, I was very impressed with the stay.

Amari is a beautiful resort and the service was good. However the rooms are a bit dated and mine smelled rusty and the humidity didn’t help. I was taken aback with the environment. Often times it felt as though the resort catered specifically to their Indian clientele, who were the majority of the patrons and it could make other travelers feel a WHOLE LOT uncomfortable. It was as though I was in India and I’m not saying that in a rude way, I was just stunned. Amenities were good but there is a curfew, I believe 7pm. Location was great 👍 If you are a picky eater make sure to eat outside of the resort.

Room. Our stay at the 2 bedrm Club Suite was awesome! Next to Club Pakarang, we were just a few steps away from the infinity pool, gym, awesome view and daily happy hour. Room was clean and well kept too. Breakfast. While breakfast at the main restaurant had an unbeatable spread, breakfast at clubhouse offered classy serving. We were pleasantly surprised with the offer of wild honey in addition to normal honey for our waffles, as well as cinnamon to go with our beverage. Buggy service was nothing like some of the complaints we read. In fact, as we were staying by the clubhouse, buggies were often available even without our call. Service. Above all, the Amari hospitality never fails! Service staff were always courteous, friendly and proactive. We were greeted even by staff who were going about their work or leaving the resort after their workday. While standing at the main entrance waiting for our taxi, they proactively directed us to seats and asked if they could help. These simple gestures go a long way to help us feel at ease and welcome. Kudos to the Amari Phuket team 👏

The best hotel in phuket, we happy to spent in this hotel

The hotel's location is great, very close to Patong's bar street. The room was clean and tidy, and although the bathroom was a bit small, it had all the necessary amenities. Housekeeping was also very thorough.

The price doesn't match the quality. The hotel itself is the only good thing. The facilities are old, more like a serviced apartment than a proper hotel. On the first night, the duvet cover was covered in black bloodstains. I had to contact housekeeping to get it changed. The next morning, there was a power outage, and I woke up feeling hot. They said the power wouldn't be back until the afternoon. Most of the rooms are on a hill, so you always need to call a car to get around, and buying things is quite inconvenient.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Amari Phuket, and I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The team surprised us with a complimentary upgrade to the Club Room, which made our stay incredibly special. The room was huge, beautifully designed, spotless, and extremely comfortable — genuinely one of the most spacious hotel rooms we’ve stayed in. Check‑in and check‑out were extremely smooth, quick, and efficient. Every staff member we interacted with was warm, helpful, and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. Their hospitality truly elevated our experience. The hotel itself is kept very clean throughout, and the combination of luxury, comfort, and top‑tier service makes Amari Phuket stand out. I got room far from lobby, but the shuttle service is efficient. Near my room is restaurant pakarang a bit small but cozy. Breakfast limited choices. For family good decision.please don't late to breakfast because they closed at 10.30AM.

We had incredible stay at Amari. We were 3 people and got upgraded to superior room 6027. All facilities were all around the hotel. Its location is prefect getaway from chaos patong beach. Staff is professional. They worked nonstop 24/7 at your request. We have not been in Phuket for a long time this trip is memorable. Thanks to all.
