The scenery was absolutely breathtaking—Mount Kinabalu right in view, misty mornings, and cool, crisp air all day. The room was clean, spacious, and had everything I needed, including a small kitchen and private balcony. The garden outside is lovely, with flowers, vegetables, and even a little stream. It’s very quiet and perfect for relaxing. However, getting there was a bit tricky—the road is narrow and steep, so I’d recommend using a 4WD. Also, the hot water was a bit unreliable"

"My partner and I had a lovely 1N stay in the Hill Lodge. The experience of waking up to the breathtaking view of Mount K made the entire trip worthwhile! The buffet breakfast was also excellent and a great start to the morning. We had requested a small birthday effort. While nothing was prepared, we don't blame the staff at all for any potential oversight (we're definitely happy to pay for additional charges, too!). Our only minor suggestion for future guests is that it would be great to be informed at c/in if a special request cannot be accommodated. Overall, it was a memorable stay, and we highly recommend it for the incredible mountain scenery!"

"it was suites for friendscation and small family vacations. it has nearest restaurant just by walking few steps away. the parking lot was spacious and the it was not far from pekan ranau. the view of mount kinabalu was perfect but at that time, mountK was hiding behind a cloud. it was clean, comfy and we add extra bed and it fit for another bed. overall we were happy for our one night stay. will book in another vacation. thank you!"
