Venus Hotel
"A simple room, but clean. Fortunately, I was allowed into the room earlier upon check-in. Friendly staff. The Wi-Fi is poor, though."
Falling Leaves Lodge
"prices on this app were totally off whent from 190 then 350 then 750 for same day booking when we checked in that day price dropped back down to 3+200. 00 location not good"
Cassia Hill Resort
"Amazing location and room, but couldn’t really get service from the person at the front desk nor the one security guy on site who also functioned as the repair guy. We didn’t have lights to our shower area, side table, or front porch, and it was pitch black, but lighting couldn’t be remedied. It’s too bad we didn’t have more time to enjoy the location in the daylight."
Pine Ridge Lodge
"This ecolodge is beautifully maintained, with gardens, walkways, plantings large and small, and patrolled by a flock of guinia fowl. The cottages are cute, they look like they came out of a fairy tale book. My cottage was half a cottage, since I was alone. I loved it, but it had only one electrical outlet, which made charging devices tricky. the owner went out of his way to make me feel welcome. He also cooks many of the meals, which are exquisite and personally brought to you. Yorkshire pudding was part of one meal. Although I was birding and did record a couple dozen species from this property, my guide and I travel each day. The road goes directly to Caracol, although the last half of the trip is rough, with road construction actively underway. There is also a butterfly farm nearby that is worth a few hours, because it has more than butterflies! I highly recommend Pine Ridge Ecolodge!"
Crystal Paradise Resort
"Comfortable accommodations and delicious food. The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The property has walking trails to watch the birds, but just sitting on the veranda watching the feeder was very rewarding"
Maya Bella Downtown Hotel
"A pleasant hotel located in the center of San Ignacio, close to the bus stop and several restaurants. The balcony with the pool is a lovely place to spend the late afternoon. Although breakfast isn't included, they offer black coffee with bananas, which is a nice touch for those leaving very early for excursions."
The West House Boutique Hotel
The Log Cab-Inn
"I can speak English. It was very comfortable with a beautiful camping image."
Rolson Hotel
"This has been one of the most disappointing experiences I have had with a hotel. They took my reservation for 2 rooms and a 50% deposit. My father who was to join us got very ill and was hospitalized and we couldn't make the trip as I also spent the night with my father in the hospital. I contacted Rolsons to see if I could get a refund or a credit due to the medical emergency and even offered to provide proof of the emergency from the hospital. I was denied both requests even after I told them I could use the deposit one day later. They flatly refused to do this even in the face of the medical emergency. I lost my deposit! The worst experience I have had with this hotel in San Ignacio, Belize. Be warned!"

San Ignacio Resort Hotel
Blancaneaux Lodge by Francis Ford Coppola
"We were greeted upon arrival by Bernie and our dedicated butler/ new bff Osmani with a cool towel and some spiced jaguar juice. For 5 days / 4 nights we explored new unearthed Mayan ruins, river rafted, and hiked into ancient sacred burial caves. Our purpose for the visit was reuniting for a friends 50th birthday. For a group of designers and directors The Coppola sensibility was felt everywhere on the property; vignettes carved out of wood, vintage family photos and local crafts make you feel like you are transported to a secret family hideway. Additionally, there is a working farm that supplies 70% of the food on the property as well as the sister property of Turtle Inn. Everything is considered so as to be low impact and eco-friendly. It's rustic and charming and there are like 3000 steps in every direction. Slow down and enjoy the sounds of jungle bird calls and the buzzing of hummingbirds of every hue. If you're lucky to get Osmani as your guy then you are more than set, his attention to detail is unparalled! Jeronimo, Johnathan, Minor the chef and all the staff are beyond friendly and committed to excellence. The Lodge does not disappoint."
Table Rock Lodge
"We spent 3 nights at the Table Rock Jungle Lodge with our two teenage boys and absolutely loved it. The setting is serene and beautiful with the lodges spread out for privacy yet the dining room, pool, hammocks, and river are close by. The food was delicious and freshly made with specials each day. The staff was exceptionally welcoming and helpful with a table waiting for us for reach meal. We arranged a tour through the lodge to go cave canoeing and the guide was friendly and shared so much history with us. We also did excursions on our own to Mountain Pine Ridge and the ruins and the staff provided us pointers. We also enjoyed the serene infinity pool, river float, game room, and animals on site. Highly recommend Table Rock Jungle lodge for your jungle visit."
Ka'Ana Resort & Spa
"The room was very clean and spacious. All the waiters are warm and attentive. We were leaving for a tour group early in the morning, so we asked the front desk to arrange a packed breakfast in advance."
Gaia Riverlodge
The Lodge at ChaaCreek
"Deron was the highlight of a spectacular trip although everyone who works around Chaa Creek is incredibly friendly, kind and accommodating. We did ziplining and cave tubing and it was perfect, we also did the RTV tour which was so fun and exciting for all of us. The open hearth kitchen experience was really worth it, and one of the best meals we had. We made shrimp ceviche, chicken and rice and beans and it was a gourmet meal. Chaa Creek did not disappoint in ANY way. Be aware that some of the rooms have open bathrooms and showers with no doors. Our teenagers sharing a room were NOT amused but figured it out."
Kane Villas - Mountain Pine Ridge
"Another great stay at Kane Villas. This trip is our 3rd time staying here and everything has always been well taken care of. We rented out all 3 Villas and as always, they are stocked with the necessary things for a great stay. The Pool and grill area was a highlight for family night, grilling and enjoying the pool. Thank to Nello for keeping the grounds and pool impeccable. Catherine, thank you for always getting us booked and in us having a place to stay in the MPR. Overall Kane Villas is a true Gem in this area full of serenity. Highly recommend!!! Thank you!"
Las Haciendas
"From arrival to departure , we enjoyed our stay at Las Haciendas . The property feels new and is so beautiful . The staff we came across were so welcoming and friendly. And the apt itself was comfortable , clean and beautifully decorated. The soaking pool was cool and refreshing after long days visiting the sites . The full kitchen had everything we needed and they even gifted us a loaf of fresh bread . They have a mini bar and snack station with affordable pricing and convenient if needed. We would definitely stay here again if we return to San Ignacio . Oh and the the young lady the works reception is friendly , accommodating , and quick to respond . Great property and great team ."
