Location: First of all, it was located in front of the bar of Chungmuro Station, so the accessibility was very good! As soon as I got off the station, it was easy to find because it was right there, and it was easy to move to the subway. In addition, there are many food nearby, so I ordered it to be delivered in the evening. At night, I went out with my friends and played in my favorite bar. 🍻 Room interior, cleanliness: First of all, the room stayed in a room for three people, but it was wider than I thought, so three people went to sleep. It was enough, very neat and clean. There was also a table, so it was easy to eat, and it was okay to bring a laptop and see the work! The bathroom is clean and Netflix is available (you need to use your own ID). There is a washing machine, induction, and sink, so you can cook and wash! (I haven't used it, but,) it was just new and tidy because the bathroom was just built. Is it a little unusual that the sink is on the outside? It wasn't uncomfortable, but it wasn't as noisy as Hongdae or Sinchon. It was nice to be quiet at night, not like a noisy downtown area, but because of its good accessibility and location, it was convenient to use public transportation and places to eat or cafes around. It was nice to have a lot! I stayed with my friends, but I think it would be suitable if you are looking for a place to stay for long-distance business trips or business purposes.. !

I loved the location, i can walk to Myeongdong or Insadong, as well as Gyeongbokgung. Cheonggyecheon is nearby too. Basically most of the famous spots in Seoul are pretty accessible from here. Super near Jongno 3-ga station which is on line 1 and line 5. The only thing is you have to walk through some alleys to find the hotel. Solo female travellers might want to avoid going back late (but their check in time is 9pm). And everything is in Korean, fyi. I speak Korean so i had no problems. The room was pretty spacious and the cleanliness was okay for me. Really good price considering it's a private room with a private bathroom. It's really a couple's room, bathroom only has a glass door and nowhere to hang your towels or clothes. And lastly, i think it's actually a love hotel, their tv has a special channel, lol.

It's been the best hotel for family trip I've ever visited. The front desk manager offers me every service I needed. Restaurant reservation, tour recommendation, and taxi call etc.… Hotel is located at the center of Seoul. It was a convenient place to move around but the road was full of cars at the night time.

I had a 24 hour layover in Seoul and chose this hotel based on the proximity to Seoul Station. From Incheon, the train journey is about one hour to Seoul Station. Fortunately, the hotel is less than a five minute walk from Exit 12. There is a slight hill, but it’s moderate and not overwhelming. The staff were super pleasant and offered to take my luggage up. I declined since I only had a carry-on, but note there is no elevator in this hotel. Don’t expect opulent space. The rooms are compact, but comfortable. As is typical in Seoul, the bathroom includes the sink, shower and toilet - there’s no separation of the shower. I slept comfortably and the streets are quiet during the night. I only paid $40 for the night so it’s certainly easy on the wallet. As far as location, it’s a walker’s dream. Seoul Station connects to high-speed rail as well as metro lines. Myeongdong is about a 30 minute walk from the hotel. There are plenty of eateries around including those at Seoul Station. If you’re a budget traveler or low maintenance, I highly recommend this place.

I spent 4 nights at ibis hotel, one of the lady at the front desk who can speak good English, and she was really nice, I was so grateful. My room was at 30/F, the view was awesome! It was clean, but the two cushions on my bed were super smelly… I wish the housekeeper could have noticed and changed the cover. The location of the hotel was great, it took me around 5mins walk from Yongsan Station exit 3 across the bridge to the hotel. Yongsan station is close to Sinyongsan station, so there is another choice if you travel to other line. I wanted to put this information here because when I was using the google map, it couldn’t give me an accurate walking direction. So hope this could help those who wanted to stay in this hotel. Overall experience I would say not bad, but compared to the other hotels located at Hongdae that I have stayed in the past, I think those are more convenient.

It’s a bit pricey but it’s worth to stay however I want to comment a few things like to point it out. 1. Front desk workers are almost no manners, they seem to not have any idea how to greet people, they never say any word like thank you, may I help you? , how may I assist you? Next customer please, what’s your car license plate number? Anything I can help you? How was your stay in our hotel? I’m sorry I don’t understand etc.. I believe not they didn’t want to say something in English, they seemed to not educated people neither they were lacking in English conversation. Don’t expect any common western manners from them. That’s why I rated them “poor” in the service category. I hope they will improve their service quality next time I see them. Thanks for reading my review.

Overall it was a decent stay at the GM JS boutique especially for the price. Service and amenities were standard - staff were polite & hotel room had the basic amenities you need…there’s extra charge of 1000 KRW if you use the toiletries though, ie shampoo, toothbrush, etc… One thing we noticed when we entered though was the smoke smell, perhaps it had something to do with ventilation or pipes.. it was gone the day after. It was also quite dusty so our all allergies were definitely triggered for the first few days… it would be great if the room could be cleaner as well, there were some blotches on the wall/cabinet. In terms of location, it’s near a lot of restaurants, convenience stores, bus & subway station, which was good. If you’re planning on going around tourist areas, ie Hongdae, Myeongdong, Gangnam, area, the location is quite far though. When we tried to take taxis back to our accommodation, some refused as they say they don’t plan to go that far… Size of the room was quite good, spacious enough for 2 people and open up your luggage. There’s a study table with chair and a small coffee table with chair. Bed was quite comfortable. Bathroom was also spacious with a smart toilet (seat is also heated) & bidet. Would recommend this hotel for a budget friendly one & good for the price!

GGrace KuangylHotel is located near anguk station. Just a little 5mins walk from the hotel. very near insadong and many food places. Below the main hotel there are some retail shops and restaurant & GS25(but it seems like the GS25 there is automated cashier or something because you cant jus go in as you wish). But there is another nearby GS25 jus a few abt 2 mins walk down on the way to subway. Did not take the airport bus because I was rushing for time. Although the Hotel told me that it will be a 5mins walk, but I personally would not recommend if you have big large suitcases because you got to pass through humans as that area is pretty busy in the day. But it is still convenient if you want to take and a much cheaper option. (i would recommend if you take airport bus if you arrive late night) Hotel room is big and clean & there is mountian view too! Never expect it from a city hotel. I requested for a high floor and was glad they accede to my request. However, I think i requested for a standing shower room too last minute, thus, they still assign me a bathtub room. But thats ok, I just make do with it. Basic amenities all provided (except disposable ones due to korea's law) They are quite strict with check in time, but I manage to store my luggage at their lockers and did a wash up before heading out for lunch. So if you arrive early, do prepare some small travel cleanser or a fresh clothes in your bagpack so that you wont have to dig your luggage. overall, im quite happy with my stay and would definitely consider coming back to this hotel.

PPuay HoonHotel is properly upkeep though housekeeping only comes in on alternate day. They do leave amenities set hang on your room door for days that they do not come inside your room. Location wise very convenient for shopping & eating.. Very near Myeongdong subway station

GGuest UserCons: First, it was disappointed to find out the shower gel dispenser is broken by ourselves when I was naked standing in the shower room. I would assume the staff should know the condition of the room. I wish the front desk informed me when I checked in and ask if I could accept it or not since I pay no less than others. Second, the refrigerator has the smallest capacity I’ve ever seen. Pros: Room is clean and spacious enough for 2 luggage. Staff are nice. They smile and greet. Location is incredible, super convenient! Kinda quiet in a noisy neighborhood. The subway station is right under the building. It’s easy to reach to most of attractions and can go through to the airport without any transfer. Money exchanging machine is available in the lobby.

GGuest UserWe enjoyed our room the most and felt that we had a good night's rest here. This is a semi budget friendly hotel that is close to the palace/park areas of Seoul. The room was clean and well appointed with two comfy beds, two good pillows per bed, a chair, cabinets and drawers to store stuff, a big tv, robes and sandals. The bathroom was nice too with good shower pressure and one of those shower valves where you can pick the temperature you want. The toilet flushed quietly and there was plenty of shower space. There are frosted windows in the bathroom which help let in natural day light but if your partner uses it at night you will see the lights come on. The location was decent but the metro was further than expected. When we booked trip.com showed us that it was 330m from Dongmyo Station but it was actually closest to jongno 5 entrance 2 which was a 10 minute walk away from the hotel. The palace and Hanbok areas are very close to the hotel and there are frequent busses in the area to take you to the major attractions and areas. Nearby the hotel there are many convenience stores but there are limited restaurant options outside of coffee shops. The breakfast at the hotel was ok. We found there was a good variety but if you went too early (7:30 am) nothing was out yet and if you went later (8:30) everything was limited. The hot items were not as hot as we liked them to be despite the heaters so it might be worth getting early and getting your food when it comes out so it is nice and hot. There were scrambled eggs, fried eggs, marbled cheese the one day, stuff to make salad, an onion soup, mushroom soup, fried rice, a hot vegetable (one day it was potato and the next it was mushrooms), hot dogs, cut up fruit, bread/toaster, cut up muffins, orange juice, coffee and tea. There was enough to get by and there are pricey a la carte options. The restaurant was a little drafty when we went but it was just enough to get us started each day. The staff at the hotel were friendly and allowed us to store our baggage when we arrived early so we could go out and explore the city. When we actually checked in it was smooth and quick. The elevators are a little tricky at the hotel and you have to pay attention to which elevator is closest to you and press that button. There are two elevators but there are two separate buttons to call them so it is worthwhile looking where the elevators are and choosing accordingly. The hotel also has a coin laundry facility and a meeting area. SSharnieIt’s smaller than I had imagined, husband couldn’t lift his arms properly in the tight shower booth. Fire alarm went off at 3am and the hotel worker looked busy checking for a fire himself. After alarm kept blaring for 20 mins my husband decided to call emergency, firefighters arrived within a few mins. Turned out to be a false alarm but it could’ve been over a lot quicker if the hotel worker called emergency first.

Cciel_202the room was the cleanest i have ever stayed in Seoul for the first time (I have been to korea for over 10times) and all staffs are nice and kind whom are easily communicative in english. however about amenities were not ready enough which is the reason why i put 3/4 for amenities. toothbrushes should have been placed on the specific place, but they haven't placed when we were in the room, so i needed to ask to get these at the check-in counter. anyways, we are happy to have stayed at your room! we are sure that we will stay your hotel for the coming next time. thank you:) ps we recommend you the bar at the 2nd floor same as the check in counter.

MmiSs JM🏨Hotel Skypark Kingstown Dongdaemu’s location is perfect! It’s literally next to Hyundai Outlet mall and other big shopping malls in Dongdaemun. 🚊Subway and bus stop is walking distance. 🍱 Tons of restaurants around to choose from. 🛍️ Most shops are open until 5am around Dongdaemun so even if you arrive in Seoul late, you can still walk around and check some stores. 📝note: the hotel’s check in lobby is on the 14th floor, and it’s self service (very convenient). They also provide free bus ride to some places (look at the picture for reference). 🚌Airport shuttle bus is 18,000won (94RMB)

TTSTRAVELSI really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is so close to many restaurants, coffee shops and two metro lines. It was also conveniently located to Gwangjang Market via a 10 minute walk, Bukchon Hanok Village 20 minutes via metro and Gyeonggbokgung Palace. You can easily hike Namsan Mt. Park all the way to Seoul Tower in about 90 minutes, starting from the hotel all the way to the top. The staff were very friendly and accommodating organizing taxi services and helping with directions to get around the city. The room needs a bit of updating but it was clean, functional, the bed was comfortable to sleep in and it had a nice view of North Seoul Tower. I would highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again!

4442sanaaeI loved the fact that the location is perfect for a quite night as well as it’s so closed to Namsan tower for a beautiful walk in morning, Myeongdong for shopping and sightseeing in evening time and many places I can get to in less than 15 mins The guest house is perfectly clean , they have a healthy breakfast as well as a projector where I played my favorite movies at night before heading to sleep. The family are so nice and always there to help me with everything I needed ^_^ I recommend this place for long term and short term stays~~
