"Stayed at Myeongdong Merlin Hotel for a short transit and overall it was a good experience. The location is convenient about 15–20 minutes to Myeongdong Night Street, which is great if you want easy access to shopping and food. We arrived quite late (around 10pm) after traveling from Busan and checked out early at 5am to head to ICN airport. Even with the short stay, everything went smoothly. Check-in was quick and hassle-free, which we really appreciated after a long journey. We were traveling in a big group (18 people), and the hotel managed us well. Rooms were clean and facilities were sufficient for a short stay. Service was also efficient. Overall, a solid and convenient choice especially for short stays or transit in Seoul 👍"

"I traveled to Seoul alone, and overall, this hotel provided a great experience. Next time I'm in Seoul, I'll definitely consider staying here again! 👍🏻 Pros: 1. The location is excellent, right in Myeongdong and very close to Myeongdong Subway Station, just a few minutes' walk away. There are many restaurants nearby, a coffee shop and a self-service beverage store downstairs, and a convenience store a short walk further – super convenient. 2. The room was quite clean, equipped with air conditioning, a mini-fridge, a full-length mirror, a desktop mirror, a hairdryer, etc. There's a common lounge area on the first floor with a microwave, a refrigerator, and a water dispenser (which provides both hot and ice water). 3. Self-check-in is available. I checked in late at night, and it went very smoothly. Free luggage storage is also a big plus. 4. There's a rooftop terrace with a direct view of Namsan Tower, and the scenery is quite nice. 5. The staff's service attitude was very good. Cons: 1. The hotel is located on a steep hill. Going down is easy, but climbing up can be a bit challenging. If you have a large suitcase, it might be quite tiring. 2. There's no elevator for guests, but there is a luggage lift. Since I stayed on the second floor, it wasn't a big issue, but if you're on the fifth floor, it might be tiring to walk up. 3. My room was a bit small, just right for one person. For two people, it might feel a bit cramped, and the bathroom was small, making showering a bit inconvenient. 4. The mini-fridge was a bit noisy. I had to unplug it at night when I slept and plug it back in during the day. I had a wonderful time in Seoul and look forward to my next trip! 🥰"

"Super Surprising for first staying but long period with Henn na , all facility was perfect and having gimmicks such robots welcoming and amenities delivery service on request anytime via Ginnie chatbot in room.  Anyway, all staff was also very nice and helpful. As Japanese style hotel, you might feel room is a bit small when checked in however I could feel more comfortable and like the room because all was complimented itself. Witt had no issue, Lots TV channel and large screen.  Thanks a lot , esp Ms.Takana (sorry if am typo) for great support since checked until today checked out. Will come back soon. Thanks a lo."

"A small hotel near Myeongdong. 1. Location: It's about 800 meters from Seoul Station, closest to Hoehyeon Station on Line 4, right next to Namdaemun Market, and there are many bus stops nearby. The hotel is hard to find! It's on the 10th floor of a building, and the building's signs are in Korean, which made it a bit difficult to figure out. I had to look closely at the entrance to see a small sign with the hotel's name. I was a bit disoriented. 2. The hotel's interior is thoughtfully designed, with many cute signs. There's drinking water, paper cups, tissues, towels, and coffee available for self-service. 3. When I arrived, there was someone at the front desk cleaning. They kindly showed me to my room and explained the various facilities. However, after 9:30 PM, the front desk is unstaffed? I guess you need to contact the hotel in advance for self-check-in? It's a bit inconvenient. 4. Safety concerns. I noticed my room door wouldn't lock? Although I was given a key card, it seemed like anyone could open it? Fortunately, nothing bad happened. Also, the hotel's main door isn't locked before 11:30 PM."

"I was very satisfied with my stay this time. The hotel's overall environment is clean and tidy, with a simple yet elegant decor. The common areas are well-maintained. The room was spacious with excellent natural light and ventilation. The bedding was soft and comfortable, toiletries were comprehensive, and the bathroom was clean with no strange odors. The soundproofing was also good, allowing for a very peaceful night's rest. The front desk staff were warm and courteous, handling check-in and check-out quickly. Their service was professional and thoughtful. The location is convenient for getting around, with complete amenities nearby, making dining and shopping very easy. It offers great value for money and exceeded my expectations. It was a very pleasant stay, and I highly recommend it to everyone. I will definitely prioritize choosing this hotel again for my next trip."
