"This hotel in Shanwei is quite good. It is right in the city center and convenient for travel. The room is clean and comfortable, with complete facilities and equipment. There is a piano in the lobby. There will be a pianist playing in the evening. Sitting in the lobby and listening to the melodious piano music is super comfortable and cozy. I praise Xiaoqing at the front desk. The service is very good, thoughtful and enthusiastic. There is an indoor heated swimming pool, a gym and a self-service laundry room on the fourth floor. It is really convenient for people on business trips and travel. I will choose this hotel next time I come to Shanwei."

"😡Avoid thunder, avoid big thunder ❌ The entrance is remote. I dragged my luggage and searched for a long time before I found a shop and many B&B signs. No matter which one I chose, they were actually the same one. ❌ False labeling. They will think you look nice and ask you to change your account to place two more orders before giving a good review. If you refuse, they will give you a cold face. *** ❌ The soundproofing is very poor. You can clearly hear the conversation next door. The debt collector called for several hours in the middle of the night, so you don’t have to sleep at all. The footsteps in the corridor continued until the early morning, and they were very clear. ❌ The bed sheets are of poor quality, the slippers are not disposable, and the toiletries are of unknown brands. Fortunately, I brought them with me. ❌ The door lock is old (it can still be opened by pressing the handle hard after locking it), and the balcony doors and windows cannot be locked tightly. ❌The wardrobe is too short, and girls’ long skirts and coats cannot be hung up, and the hem is wrinkled. ❌Electrical appliances are scary. I was scared to death by the sound of the refrigerator compressor starting up in the middle of the night. I endured it for two days, and on the third day I ran away. Although it was more than just this one order, I could only write this much in one breath. The more I wrote, the angrier I got."

The bedding was also the cheapest kind; the mattress was very hard, and the pillows were very soft and offered no support. The hairdryer was okay, but it felt incredibly fake. The main problem was the overall cleanliness. The so-called "housekeeper" was basically just an online customer service representative who replied to messages on WeChat. And the view of the sea wasn't even directly in front of the room… The experience was terrible, and I will never come back."

"Our first stop on this Chaoshan trip was Shanwei. When I booked the hotel, I was swayed by the 4.8 rating online and the panoramic video, so I reserved two panoramic twin rooms and one king room. Upon arrival that evening, the front desk immediately informed us that because we arrived late, the rooms were on separate floors – one per floor – and two of them were corner rooms. Since my 80-year-old family member was staying alone in the king room and it wasn't on the same floor, we were worried we wouldn't be able to look after them. We hoped the hotel could coordinate, but our requests were repeatedly denied. Considering how late it was, we just decided to check in and sort it out among ourselves. To our surprise, the stay was extremely disappointing. First, the room was old, with peeling paint and cracks on the walls. The shower water was okay, but the worst part was the aging mattress; it was visibly sunken to the touch, and completely caved in when you lay on it, making it impossible to sleep all night. At 4 AM, I called Ctrip to explain the situation. Ctrip's communication with the hotel remained unsuccessful. Finally, a 10% discount on all rooms was offered as the solution. As a consumer with a normal weight who takes at least two in-depth trips a year, this is the first time I've encountered a hotel like this. At 495 yuan per night, I don't consider it low-end, yet not only were basic facilities not guaranteed, but the hotel, as a service provider, consistently refused to acknowledge the issues. The bed by the wall in my room, 1201, had the most severe mattress collapse. I hope my review helps future guests. Furthermore, the hotel's breakfast was incredibly perfunctory. Everything pointed to the hotel's lack of care and professionalism. The next day, before checking out, a front desk lady offered us three gifts, which I firmly declined ❌. I believe that ensuring basic infrastructure is the greatest respect a hotel can show its guests (I also hope Ctrip can supervise hotels with ratings that don't match reality, to prevent harm to consumers). My sincere thanks again to Ctrip's complaint supervisor and related staff."
