"The hotel is situated by a large lake, offering a pleasant environment. However, the service is really poor. I'll just give two examples: Around 9 AM when I checked out, I was told the 500 yuan deposit would be refunded before 12 PM. But I waited until past 5 PM and it still hadn't been returned. I called to chase it up, and they told me they'd look into it and asked me to call back. I refused, and only then did they process the refund. In another instance, after scanning my license plate at the front desk for parking, I couldn't get the car out of the gate. I pressed the call button, and a parking attendant came, but he couldn't immediately lift the barrier. Even after I told him I was a hotel guest and provided my room number, he had to radio another person, repeatedly emphasizing that it was a hotel guest's car, before they finally remotely lifted the barrier to let me out. Out of the more than 20 Hilton-branded hotels I've stayed at, this one has the worst management! I hope they improve to uphold the Hilton brand's reputation!"

"The design is great! The triple tatami room can be combined or kept separate, and it's very spacious with a living room. It's clean, and the sheets and duvet covers were all fresh. There's plenty of parking, which is really convenient compared to hotels in the city center. There are also many dining options downstairs. The location is good too; you can see the sea from the room, and it's just a short walk to the beach. The service is excellent; any questions were quickly and patiently answered. The facilities are good, and the bed is very comfortable. Overall, it's a great place, and I would definitely come back."

"The TV signal is not good and you can't see it at all. The waiter said you can't see it in the whole hotel. The landline phone is broken and you can't make calls. There aren't many choices for breakfast. There aren't many restaurants downstairs. The waiter has a bad attitude and I'm disappointed."

"Economical and cost-effective, the room was very clean, perfect for off-season travel. Having seen so much of the sea, I now prefer lower floors. Even if you don't have a direct view, listening to the waves is very pleasant. The advantage of lower floors is no need to wait for the elevator; just walk down one floor to the beach. I found a pork knuckle rice place in the scenic area, which was surprisingly good—affordable and even better than in big cities. The street-side beef brisket was also excellent. Shanwei is perfect for eating and drinking!"
