"Front desk is friendly but lack care or professionalism. Waited a while without being told that the golf cart was already there. My wife slipped at the high staircase where the mat skidded because of water beneath. It was scary to imagine what could have happened. Told the front desk a, she did not care or show any concern. TV had no channels. The housekkeping restaurant staff were very very sweet but unprofessional was the pool area. No one there knew how to go all the way through to complete their job in a satisfying manner. When leaving the front desk guy did not ask if we gave deposit or id. Just waiting for us to forget. The best: bathroom, the woods, the bed, the pool, room service, resto is not bad, but pizzas sold out and NO SPA, why? for the price we paid in the holidays. This spa trick, unfortunately, many hotels play it."

GGuest UserThe room is quite spacious, allowing you to relax in bed and enjoy the pool and views outside. The bathtub is large and beautiful, and the spa experience was excellent. The à la carte breakfast was particularly outstanding! The service was very warm and attentive, always ready to assist with any issues.
Areas for improvement: The room design is slightly impractical. The price is a bit high.

Ddyhx1.5 hrs ride from YIA Airport, but conveniently linked to Pukawon Mall that has pretty much everything you need from nails spa, massage to cinema, shops, eateries, restaurants to supermarket. It's easy (and cheap) to get a grab (local Uber) so not a challenge to get around even to further places.
The room was spacious even for 2, including the bathroom area. Clean and well maintained, cute crab-shaped towel art and welcome amenities as a Bonvoy Gold member. Beds and pillows are a bit soft for my liking (even when I opted for a foam pillow from their pillow menu) but that's a personal preference. All amenities provided in the bathroom.
Service was amazing, such warm smiles and great initiative, from the bell boy who helped with our luggage immediately after we got off the car, to the friendly front desk staff, to the security guards who holds the doors open for us and most of all, the helpful and thoughtful housekeeping team. They saw that we had limited hanging space with too much clothes and put in a standing laundry rack for us, and additional bottles of water, all without asking. Special shout-out to Deelen, Wahyu for the superb service.
The pool looked amazing though I didn't get to try it this time.
Breakfast was also excellent, a wide spread of local, western and Asian. They also offer interesting local herbal beverages. Solomon was thoughtful and offered us to order special items off the buffet when he found out it was our 3rd day of having breakfast at the hotel.
Overall a wonderful stay and I'll be sure to stay here the next time I visit Jogja again.

Jjoanlee16The outdoor facilities are fantastic! The pool has slides and a rope swing, plus there's a dedicated fish pond for fishing (you can easily catch 5 fish in a minute). They offer free bikes for adults, kids, and even bikes with child seats. There are also some small outdoor play structures and a few games. From the lobby, you get a great view of Mount Merapi – perfect for adults to enjoy while kids can feed the fish. As for the indoor environment, the room type I originally booked was indeed much cheaper, but it felt like a guesthouse from 20 years ago. After staying for three nights, I upgraded on the spot the morning of the second day. The upgrade cost an additional 800,000 Indonesian Rupiah (around 300+ RMB) for two days. The upgraded room was very new.

The staff are amazing – they enthusiastically answer any questions you have. I love that! Breakfast is just okay; it finishes a bit early from 6-9 AM, but it's enough to fill you up. Nothing spectacular, but the price is right. It's a solid choice. There's a big, cool swimming pool that closes at 8 PM.

The bellboy manning the drop off is not that good cos seeing me struggling with my luggage in the rain, he did not even offer to help despite having an umbrella. Did not even help us to open the door. Me and my partner struggle to bring our luggage up the slope, in the rain and drenched. Im not sure why, but for the 4 days 3 night im there, the doorbell didnt even offer to help or assist..
For a top 10 hotel in jogja, the bell boy can do better with service wise.
But the Front desk and concierge is very friendly..

The rest are not up to expectations.
1. Location is far from town and airport.
2. Amenities are very old. A lot of things are spoiled and yet not replaced or repaired.
3. Because everything is old and dated, they look dirty too. Bedsheets are full of stains!
4. Water pressure of shower is very low. Take a long time to bathe.
I booked here just because the event I was going to was hosted in this hotel. Glad that I didn’t extend my stay after the event. I am sorry but I won’t recommend this hotel.

The rooms are clean and spacious although there needs to be an improvement in the quality of some items in the bathroom.
