The ancient town of Rishikesh, set against the backdrop of the Himalayas with the crystalline Ganga flowing through it, is a major tourist and pilgrimage hotspot in northern India. Rishikesh is rightfully referred to as the "yoga capital of the world". The location is teeming with visitors who have come to learn yoga and meditation. It is home to a number of ashrams, some of which are globally recognised as hubs of philosophical studies, yoga, and other ancient Indian wellness traditions. With a blissful view of the gurgling Ganges from the rooftop, goSTOPS Rishikesh Lakshman Jhula is a young, social and peaceful abode in the Yoga Capital of the World. A brisk walk from the iconic Lakshman Jhula, the hostel has vibrant common areas and a Yoga space to soothe your mind, body and nomadic soul.
"The property is nice but the location isn’t that great. If location is important to you please choose gostops Tapovan. This one’s surroundings aren’t quite clean from outside nor is it v reachable. The staff is very nice and helpful though. I ended up forgetting some of my belongings at the room which they safely kept and handed over to the courier guy two days after my stay. The rooms and washrooms are clean with good space, spacious terrace and common rooms. They should start planning some group activities though which can help solo travellers connect with EO better may be like some musical experience or games. "

A Peaceful Stay with Stunning Views We stayed at Hotel Azul Ganga for two nights, and it was a fantastic experience! The hotel is in a great location, close to the action yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful. The highlight for us was the beautiful rooftop view—perfect for soaking in the serene vibes of Rishikesh. The breakfast was excellent, with fresh and delicious options that set us up for the day. The staff were friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with a smile. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making for a relaxing stay. Overall, a great choice for anyone visiting Rishikesh. Highly recommended!
My recent stay at Hotel Terracotta Rishikesh was a pleasant experience. The room was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, and the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options. The staff was friendly and helpful, but the location was not convenient. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to other travelers.”
Great hotel in an ideal location within walking distance of the Parmarth Niketan Ashram and Aarti, plus other temples, ashrams, cafes and shopping area. Lovely, helpful staff and clean rooms. Pros: Super-friendly welcome and service from highly responsive and attentive staff. Clean, comfy rooms with nice toiletries. Wonderful roof terrace with views across the mountains and the Ganges. Tasty, well-cooked food and good menu options in the rooftop restaurant. Cons: Weak Wi-Fi, continually dropping connection. Coffee machine broken, so no freshly brewed coffee at breakfast (only powdered Nescafe). Ask for hot water so you can make an international style coffee. Limited breakfast choices for international guests. If you’re not keen on an Indian-style breakfast, there’s only white ‘air’ bread toast, jam, fruit, curd, cereal (no cold milk). No egg options (this might be due to religious reasons). Suggestion for management: fix your coffee machine or add a hot water urn. It would be great to include a more nutritious brown bread option, honey and a few sealed bananas at breakfast when you have international guests staying.
We had a fantastic time and used it as a base to see all the wonders around Rishikesh. The hotel was ideally situated for all the surrounding amenities not too far from Laxman Jhula. Waking up every morning with the views and the sound of the Ganga were absolutely amazing.. The room was very clean and the staff were very courteous , polite and helpful. I would certainly go back and recommend it
Excellent location, (only long to reach by car, but by foot, one is walking distance from the lovely riverside, shops, restaurants, temples and more. The staff is extra kind and helpful with anything one might require while traveling India. Nice comfy rooms, cozy rooftop.
I was very very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The staff were so helpful, the room was spacious, clean, a really comfy bed, hot shower, beautiful touches in the room, the communal spaces were well maintained and lovely. They have a spa on site that I didn’t use but my friend did and said it was excellent. The whole experience was great. The location slightly let it down, being on the edge of Tapovan but it was only a 10minute walk in which was no problem at all and the hotel were really helpful to help you get around. I would definitely recommend and stay here again. Thanks YogVed 🙏🏼
I stayed in the dormitory at an affordable price. It's basic but good for travellers. Every bed has a private reading light and power point. I would rate it 8.5/10
