A day trip around Oaxaca can ask the hotel to help with taxis, 250 pesos per hour. The hotel can best be described as ‘funky.’ It is NOT a luxury hotel but does charge luxury hotel prices. Rooms are small. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom and shower were small with hardly any counter space. Room lighting is dark. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Pool is tiny and unheated. Restaurant is not handicap accessible. Free breakfast was OK. Road construction and teacher demonstration encampments made pickups at the hotel impossible. No one told us this prior. Would not stay here again.
