Great
GGuest UserIt’s overall quite outdated, but I feel like that is the charm of this hotel. I loved the location and easy access to everything. Very walkable.
Only downside is just the homeless population around the corner at the park. But homeless problem is prevalent around the city. I didn’t feel particularly unsafe as a solo female traveler.
Service was great and I probably wouldn’t mind staying there again.
GGuest UserThis hotel is in the perfect location. Very close to good restaurants (Indian & Italian), walking distance. Close to Target and CVS too.
The Hotel in general is well maintained, modern and clean. In addition, the bedding is extremely comfortable and a well thought out room layout. I appreciated the mini fridge, ironing board and state of the art iron. These small details made my experience very pleasant. Also, the gym was very clean too.
Highly recommended this hotel!
JJarod ChristopherHotel was a smaller limited service boutique hotel. Locating was great for our needs (Trailblazers game) as we we're only a few minutes away from the Moda Center. The hotel is a minimalists dream. The room come across a a college dorm room, but is clean and uncluttered. It had a restaurant bar in the lobby with a Korean inspired menu. The bar draws locals from the area and had a really good vibe. Parking is $50 per night, but there options such as street parking with totals about $20 a day (Strange street parking rates...well strange to me at least 🤣) or parking garages near by for about half the cost of the hotel parking. The room rate was an awesome plus and the location made it a no brainer for us.
GGuest UserI had a very pleasant stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it to others. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The staff was extremely courteous and always ready to help, which made the experience even better. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. The location of the hotel is also a big advantage, as it is easily accessible and close to key areas. The food quality was excellent, with a good variety of options available. Overall, it was a great experience, offering good value for money, and I would happily stay here again.
GGuest UserI stay here often ! Everyone is so awesome from housekeepers to front desk and now meal service. Views are spectacular! Hillary comes to mind as an efficient helpful young lady. They are all
Awesome ! Take a walk on the wild side After all you are in Oregon. Cheers
GGuest UserThe room was clean and hygienic, check-in was fast, and the airport hotel shuttle required payment (I didn't ask how much per person). Going to Portland for an exhibition, this hotel is very convenient and cost-effective. It takes about six or seven minutes to walk to the exhibition hall, and there are convenience stores, McDonald's, Burger King and Starbucks around. It is also very close to the airport. It takes more than 20 minutes to take a taxi for more than 30 US dollars. You can also take the Red Line Light Rail (but the Red Line Light Rail will not be opened until March 2024 after maintenance. If you have enough time, you can take the free airport bus (you need to transfer once). Portland's transportation is very convenient. In the second half of 2023, the government took action to resettle the homeless and govern the city. Portland has a brand new look. It feels that the city has ”come alive”, and it feels safer and more comfortable. You will be given a breakfast voucher when you check in, and you can order your own food in the breakfast room on the first floor. The breakfast voucher is equivalent to a 20-dollar discount voucher. The excess needs to be paid by yourself (no need to tip separately, but tea and coffee are 4 US dollars, and there are taxes, so you need to calculate whether the order will exceed your budget)🤣
GGuest UserI didn’t feel this hotel was worth the price tag. It was clean, nicely designed, and located downtown but they charge an extra $50 each night for services, don’t provide free Wi-Fi (unless you sign up for some kind of Hilton membership), and do not include parking. Also, that area is a business district. The East side of Portland is a more fun area to be based. The gym and pool were alright. Well-equipped but rather small.
I’d recommend shopping around better deals on the east side of the river.
GGuest UserIt is located in the city center, so it is convenient to walk, public transportation, and Uber. The building itself is large, the lobby is also large, and the rooms are also large. The bathroom floor was sticky. All the staff were friendly and nice. The building itself is old, but the atmosphere is nice.
GGuest UserOne word: Perfect !
Without doubt, the best hotel I have ever stayed without spending a LOT more money. I had a wonderful corner room with loads of light, amenities were outstanding: comfortable bed, big bathroom with good water pressure, amenity kit (see pic), huge TV (which, unlike many hotels was easy to operate), sensible light switches, plenty of power outlets, inc USB on each side of the bed for phone charging, soft robes, excellent plunger coffee maker, fridge, in-room safe, etc etc. I honestly couldnt fault anything. Staff were very good. Bar and restaurant were also very good. I only wish I had more then 2 nights there. Wonderful stay.
