"Avoid using the service of this hotel! The lady at reception is utterly unprofessional, rude and definitely her attire, behaviour are not suitable to a 4 star labelled service/ location. The location small and cozy… maybe a bit too small and feels crowded but for similar pricing you can get much better! Management should definitely look into sending her back to training, despite her claims of being a successful employee for 10 years. If she would be working under my management would definitely be on a PIP. Disgusting and such a bitter taste! This is not a service that I would wish, even to my worst enemy. She is not listening, she is not polite, she is not problem- solving focused but her attitude is over the rough and it’s everything that you would not want for your business. I don’t think I have ever had such an appalling service that managed to take me out of my control and comfort zone as the interaction with this “so called reception manager did”! RUN!"

Hotel Boutique Casa del Sole

"This is a pleasant, convenient place to stay in Timisoara. It is about a 20-minute walk to the main parts of the old town, in a beautiful old building. The pool is nice and the rooms outdoor common areas are elegant and comfortable for hanging out. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we appreciated the noon check-out (normally 11am). Plus side: spacious and comfortable room with mini-fridge and tea/coffee-making facilities; lovely pool with sufficient loungers; tasteful exteriors. Minus side: The interior decor is a bit kitschy; our bathroom was separated by almost transparent frosted glass which was inappropriate for a family room; the pool area had the same 4 pop songs playing on a loop all afternoon; the breakfast buffet was not great, except for the hot beverages served in style."

"The lack of a hair dryer is inconvenient. The supermarket and bus stop downstairs are great, though. Only one light is on, making it a bit dim at night."

"Awesome hotel, clearly build with the help of rofessional designers. Very new, classy and clean. Breakfast was also great. Has outdoor private parking for guests. We got a room overlooking the parking area that was super quiet. Highly recommended."

"First of all the ladies from the reception were great, very helpful and nice. The check in and check out were smooth. Big rooms, warm and sunny all day. It was very quite although the hotel was fully booked. Very clean, including the bathroom. The location may seem a bit further, but you get to the city center in 5 mins by cab, and also there is free parking. The breakfast was delicious, with a lot of varieties including pancakes :) Would definitely come back."

"Nice host for a late night arrival due to flight cancelation. Clean room and hotel in general. The breakfast was great. Lots of options including pesto. Price was ok for a late call around 1 in the night, late check in. We will return on next flight."

"What a hotel! The room we got was very spacious. It was not that far from the centre at all. For the price, it is such a good deal! The furniture was modern, mostly scandinavian style. Made myself a tea with the amenities in it. It had parking outside of the hotel, which was private. The doors open with a code. The hotel didnt have a restaurant given it has 3 stars. But that was no problem as it is so close to the centre where you can get a great meal. Would recommend 100%."

"Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was very disappointing and did not match the expectations created by the photos and description on Booking. The hotel is rated as 4 stars, but the reality of the room is far below that — honestly, it does not even reach the standard of a 2-star hotel. The room we stayed in looked neglected and poorly maintained. Cleanliness was unacceptable: there were hairs on the bathroom floor, visible dirt, stains and signs of mold, including on the hair dryer cable. This is completely unacceptable for any accommodation, especially one claiming a higher standard. The bathroom is one of the biggest problems. The water pressure in the shower is extremely low and water also leaks out around the hose. The bathtub cannot be used — it is basically just decorative. There is no window in the bathroom and the extractor fan barely works, so humidity and smells remain in the room. This makes the bathroom uncomfortable and unhygienic. Safety in the room is a serious concern. The lamp next to the bed is fixed with adhesive tape, and there are exposed cables coming out of the wall. Since the lamp is made of metal, this is potentially dangerous and poses a real risk of electric shock or fire. The lighting in the room is poor and incomplete — only half of the room is properly lit, and the bed area is badly illuminated. There are no power outlets next to the bed, which is very inconvenient. The bed itself is uncomfortable, the mattress is worn out, the pillows are very low quality, and the blanket is for one person only, even though the room is for two people. The minibar does not work at all. The Wi-Fi is unusable and barely works, so if you need internet for work, this is not the place. Parking is almost always full — although we were told it was included, in reality it is not guaranteed, and if you do not find a spot you have to pay 45 lei, which is not clearly communicated. The only positive aspect was the staff, who were polite and friendly. Overall, this hotel is seriously overrated and does not meet the standards of a 4-star property. There are major issues with cleanliness, comfort, functionality and even safety. I do not recommend this hotel and we will not return."
