NH Timisoara

"Upon arrival I waited at least 5-10 minutes for someone to come to reception. I was then asked to pay. I had already paid. Someone had to be called to check this. The room was far from clean. There was still trash and a sock from the previous hotel guest. When checking out, the airport shuttle was completely unknown, although this is indicated in the hotel information. The breakfast was laughable. Hardly any options. For a 4 star hotel this is really absurdly bad. Definitely not worthy of an NH hotel. For 100+ euros for one night, compared to other 4 star hotels I stayed in this week, this was the worst."

Hotel la Residenza

"This hotel is just amazing. Everything was clean, cosy and comfortable. We had an amazing massage here. And the restaurant by night is just amazing. The chef has worked at two different Michelin restaurants and it shows. The breakfast and breakfast room are beautiful, the bed very soft and comfortable. The location is not downtown but it is less than a 15 minute walk there. I would definitely stay again and again. We just loved it."

"Marvelous rooms and equipment, but a pity for the bed ( very hard ) and the pillows ( also hard and interior plastic) ! Despite the luxury room, the sleeping quality is beneath the norms. The situation of the hotel is excellent, disposing of parking and restaurant"

"The hotel was as clean and fresh as new, with all the facilities. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to help. The location is also close to the old city center, so those who enjoy walking can enjoy the area without having to drive."

Mercure Timisoara

"The room hygiene and environment are good, but the smart phone is a bit stupid. The air conditioner and exhaust fan are bound, making it difficult to sleep quietly. There is also an additional city tax. It's half an hour away from the main city, so eating and shopping are not very convenient."

"Unfortunately, we encountered major hygiene issues at this accommodation. Here are the main concerns: Dirty sheets and mattress cover – with a large yellow stain in the middle. Presence of cockroaches in the kitchen. Water with food residue and dirt in the dishwasher. Electric kettle with limescale buildup and other residues inside. This is completely unacceptable from a hygiene perspective. The presence of dust in some areas of the room would not have bothered me, but these are serious issues. We informed the accommodation about these problems but received no assistance."
