"I recently stayed at Mercure Hotel, and overall I had a really good experience. The food was alright—definitely better than what I’ve had in all-inclusive hotels in Turkey or Tunisia. There was a wide variety of dishes, including lots of tasty options, cakes, tea, coffee (which was actually good), cocktails, and decent beer. The service was excellent. The staff were very polite and always willing to help—you can ask them anything and they’ll do their best. A special mention goes to Ahmed, the kitchen chef, who is an incredibly kind person. He really stood out, and I’d give an extra star just for him. The resort overall is not as busy as many other places in the area, which I really liked. It’s a smaller hotel compared to others nearby, with a simple, nice look—white buildings with brown windows, just like in the photos. It’s not a big aqua park-style resort, but honestly that was a plus for me, as I could relax without too many kids around. The beach is nice and quiet, perfect for relaxing. There are comfortable beds with shades/umbrellas around, so you can always find a good spot. The hotel has three swimming pools—the one next to the main restaurant is very large and usually empty, as most people stay at the smaller pool or by the beach. The sea water was a bit cold for my preference, but it’s beautifully clear and very clean. Many people really enjoy it, especially for snorkeling—there are amazing snorkeling spots right next to the resort. Rooms are cleaned every day, and you get two bottles of water per room daily, which is a nice touch. There are also plenty of activities: you can play tennis (though they only have one set of rackets), mini golf is included in the stay, and there’s a gym which is usually empty. There are snacks available by the pools and the beach, and a bar in the main restaurant. Outside the hotel, taxis are easy to find either at the lobby or on the street. Just make sure to agree on the price beforehand, or use the inDrive app—it’s usually cheaper than Uber or Careem, and you agree on the price upfront. There are a few shops nearby as well. If you need medication, it’s better to order from Self Care Pharmacy (you can find them on Facebook). For example, I ordered Antinal and rehydration salts with delivery for only 250 Egyptian pounds. They can deliver pretty much anything you need, and it’s much cheaper than buying inside the resort—definitely good to be prepared for emergencies. Overall, it’s a clean, more peaceful hotel with good service, plenty of food options, and lots to do. A great place to relax and enjoy the Red Sea."

"Every part of the hotel is beautiful, and together it's simply stunning. Photos don't do it justice; you have to experience it in person to be truly amazed. The hotel offers both buffet and à la carte options for dinner. The à la carte requires reservations, but I wasn't informed at check-in. After some hassle, I finally got to eat dinner at 8 PM. I had dinner twice; the first time was just okay, but the second time was unforgettable. So, I guess it's a bit hit or miss. I got lucky with my room, which had a direct sea view. The public pool isn't particularly large, but the beach is spacious with plenty of lounge chairs."

"Overall, it was great, no real flaws, right? If I had to point out something, it would be the per-person charge, even if two people share a room. But I'd recommend staying a maximum of two days, otherwise the all-inclusive hotel buffet will get boring. - The hotel's main restaurant has a stylish, natural, and simple decor, and lots of birds come to eat scraps. - The hotel's private beach is beautiful, but the sea nearby isn't particularly clear or light blue. - The service was exceptionally good. Even when sitting in the lobby restaurant without drinks, someone would proactively ask what you'd like and offer you a drink. There was no overcharging for tips. After checkout, they didn't take back your wristband, so you could continue sitting in the lobby waiting for your flight, and someone would still come to ask what you'd like to drink. Going to eat after checkout should be fine too, but we didn't. Overall, the service and environment are probably the best in Hurghada, as long as it's relatively new."

"Very good resort hotel, you won't be bored after a few days of fun. The whole hotel is full of Europeans, and we hardly saw any Asians except our family. The family room has two beds, one large and one small. It's a big room, enough for accommodation. The water park is fun, and the restaurant is all-inclusive. The waiters are very enthusiastic and didn't ask for tips. After checking out, I took a taxi. If I couldn't contact the front desk, they would be happy to help me. Thank you! I booked a boat to go out to sea at the hotel, which is safe and convenient. The Red Sea is so beautiful. I saw a lot of fish and corals while snorkeling!"

"This hotel deserves a lot of criticism. It's an all-inclusive hotel with reservations for six restaurants, but you have to book a day in advance. So if you stay two nights, you only get one chance to try them, and most reservations are impossible to get. When you go for a walk in the evening, you'll find that most of the restaurants you booked are empty. I don't understand why it's so hard to get reservations. Secondly, the car that was supposed to pick us up was stopped at the gate by security because the person it was supposed to pick up was Chinese… Absolutely unreasonable! If the hotel is open to the public, why this kind of discriminatory behavior?! I don't recommend staying here."

"An excellent hotel I'd love to visit again. The staff were very friendly towards Chinese guests, unlike many hotels that show a subtle preference for European guests (not severe discrimination, but they tend to favor Europeans, which I understand due to spending habits). The hotel facilities are fantastic and fun, and the rooms are very child-friendly. The pool for younger children is heated, truly embodying the spirit of a family-friendly hotel. Playing in the water in February was a bit chilly, so bringing a wetsuit for the kids would be better. Everything is designed adorably. Don't think of this as just a kids' hotel; adults will have a great time too! All the pictured attractions are complimentary."

"Overall, it was pretty good. The main attraction was the Suez Canal. Port Said isn't really a tourist city, so the residents weren't as materialistic and were quite peaceful. I really liked the city; you can take a boat across Asia and Africa, which is worth experiencing. The only downside was the room was in a remote location; the view from the window was beautiful, but the weather was cold, and I didn't get to use the swimming pool."
