"A had a lovely cozy stay at this hostel. It was clean with a lovely ambiance and staff were friendly! They have many activities going on and serve a variety of meals. Location is walking distance to Shuhe Ancient Town. I would recommend this hostel to fellow travelers. Only one note for improvement: if movie nights could include English subtitles too, that would be great!"

"This hostel exceeded my expectations! The location is easy to find and super convenient for getting around. The room was clean and tidy, and the bunk beds have curtains, which provides great privacy. There were no strange odors in the room. The communal bathrooms had plenty of hot water and were well-equipped. The owner and staff were friendly, and check-in was efficient. The common areas have a relaxed vibe, perfect for solo travelers. It's excellent value for money; I felt safe and comfortable during my stay. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in town. Highly recommended!"

"This hostel is absolutely fantastic, the luckiest choice I made during my half-month stay in Lijiang, and I recommend it to everyone. Firstly, its location is superb. It's just a 4-5 minute walk from the Old Town, but not actually inside it (the roads in the Old Town are terrible!). It's situated on a small hillside, so it's incredibly quiet at night… I slept like a log every single night. Plus, this hostel is very new, the bedding is always clean, as are the rooms, and it even has an en-suite bathroom, so I felt completely at ease. I also think its common area is excellent. The entire fourth floor is dedicated to it, featuring a pool table, sofas, and chairs, and you can even sing karaoke. It’s a glass-enclosed space, so it gets wonderful natural light, which I absolutely loved. What's more, its prime location offers a panoramic view of the entire Lijiang Old Town, the mountains opposite, spectacular sunsets, and shifting clouds. I especially enjoyed watching the moon peek through the bamboo blinds in the evening. Although the guesthouse is up a slope, you can easily get there by car or electric scooter. After a rainy day, you can even go mushroom picking right outside the door! On cloudy days when you don't feel like going out, you can chat with friends or just sleep in your room until the cows come home. If there's any outing planned, you can instantly join a group… What truly makes me reluctant to leave and compelled to write this review is the amazing people I met here, including the exceptionally kind owner (a brother and sister). Saying goodbye to them all was hard, and I already miss them… I will definitely be back and look forward to seeing them again! ^_^ 😘 (The photos I've included are a bit jumbled – there's the fourth-floor common area, a sunset, a postcard written to a departing friend, the room, some mushrooms, and the hostel entrance. "I went out on a trip by myself and stayed in a youth hostel for two consecutive days. The lady boss was very welcoming. It was the cleanest and most comfortable youth hostel I have ever stayed in. Every roommate I met was also very nice. I even spent half a day in Baisha Ancient Town with one of my roommates. Yunnan is really nice. Next time I come alone, I will stay here again, but I hope we come together, hahaha."

"This hostel was absolutely fantastic! My first hostel stay was such a wonderful experience! The courtyard was beautiful, like something out of a dream. I loved the wooden house, and the bed was so comfortable! 🏠 There were also several adorable and friendly kittens in the courtyard; I almost wanted to steal one! 😭 The location is quite close to Shuhe, which I think is a relatively pristine and quiet ancient town, much better for exploring than other ancient towns and very peaceful! It's perfect for those who want to truly experience the slow pace of life in Lijiang. 🤗 The volunteer sister, the owner, and her friends were all incredibly kind. During the Dragon Boat Festival, I even got to eat zongzi (sticky rice dumplings) made by the owner's mother and had a meal with everyone—it was absolutely delicious! (๑´ڡ`๑) I felt so lucky to stay here! It was a very special trip for me! I already miss it even before I've left."

"Sweetly decorated hostel in a quiet corner if Lijiang it is about a 20 minute walk from the Old Town and has a few shops and restaurants nearby for convenience. The hostel manager was kind and helpful and our private room was clean and spacious. They cleaned the bathrooms everyday and had an overall chill vibe."

"Chepaest hostel but it did not disappoint. Bed and everything was clean. Pillow and comforter was provided as well. You can wash your clothes yourself with minimal charge and hang it there to dry. Around 10mins away to the old town (I0mins walk). They can arrange tour for your as well. Recommend!"

"i am glad to at this Lijiang Shuhe K2 International hostel. I am truely overwhelm by the warm & friendly staffs hospitalities & its excellent service. I love the cozy courtyard gatden with one lovely cat always come close to you. Not to nentione the excellent location. Once you step into this hostel, you will find peace."
