"Whatever you do, do NOT stay in rooms 101, 201, or 301. They're labeled as 'deluxe double rooms,' but they face the street and are incredibly, unbelievably noisy! Throughout the entire night, whether it was midnight or the early hours of the morning, cars were constantly passing by. The soundproofing is so bad it's like sleeping right on the main road. Other than that, everything else was okay."

"They decorated the room for my birthday! The cleaning was good every day, breakfast was delicious, the Turkish coffee was tasty, and the sunset and views were superb. They provide umbrellas when it rains. Sleeping in the cave room was very comfortable, and there are kittens living on the property. I didn't use the spa, but the vintage bathtub in the room was cool. And they allowed me to check out half an hour late. In short – I recommend it."

"The room was excellent, far exceeding my expectations. The bedding and bath were very comfortable. The common areas are beautifully designed. Although breakfast is in a separate restaurant, the setting is lovely, and the food is delicious and plentiful. The service was the best I've experienced in any hotel in Turkey. Ahmet at the front desk, who is also very handsome, was incredibly warm, polite, and professional. He provided detailed information and was very engaging. Plus, there are cute dogs! The only downside is that the first floor can be a bit noisy in the mornings, but it's not bothersome enough to detract from the overall experience. Highly recommended!"

"Staying at this hotel in Göreme was absolutely the right choice; the experience was fantastic, and I genuinely recommend it! The owner was incredibly warm and thoughtful. I arrived earlier than my check-in time, and I was carrying my bags, expecting a long wait. Seeing how tired I was from my journey, they immediately arranged an early check-in. Later, when I wanted to book a hot air balloon ride, the owner patiently explained all the details to me and ultimately arranged a perfect experience, where I took many great photos. When I was leaving, I asked how to get to the airport, and they promptly helped me book a shuttle, clearly explaining the times and costs. The whole process was completely hassle-free. The hotel itself is very unique, with stone walls and wooden furniture that exude the authentic Cappadocian feel. It's quiet and very clean. The room was comfortable; after a day of exploring, taking a hot shower was incredibly relaxing. Breakfast was also excellent and fresh. Eating breakfast on the second-floor terrace while enjoying the view created a wonderful ambiance. The location is also convenient. It's not far from the bus station, restaurants, supermarkets, and the sunset viewpoint, all within walking distance. At checkout, the owner even gave me a small gift, which was a pleasant surprise. I was very satisfied overall. Friends visiting Göreme, you can book this place with confidence!"

"First, we asked the front desk to book a hot air balloon ride. They quoted 85 euros, saying it all goes to the hot air balloon company and doesn't include tips. The next day, when we were on the hot air balloon, we talked to some other Chinese tourists who booked the same ride and they only paid 50 euros... We basically got ripped off 35 euros, tearing up inside. Our room had flies, and the sheets had orange stains that hadn't been washed out. When we reported it to the front desk, they gave us an insect spray, claiming it was colorless and odorless, and told us to use it. Later, we paid an extra 70 euros to upgrade our room, which was already a 4-digit price per night. The location is quite remote. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the town center, but walking under the strong summer sun with intense UV rays was really tiring, with lots of uphill and downhill sections. So, we ended up taking taxis everywhere during our stay. On our second day, around noon, the cleaning staff directly entered our room using a password, startling me awake from my sleep. I can't recall anything else right now, but I'll add more if I remember."

"My expectations were high, which only led to greater disappointment. First, the triple family room I booked was 50 meters away from the main hotel building. I was shocked! My family of 7 booked one triple and one quadruple room, and we had to stay in separate locations. Reluctantly, I paid an extra 30 euros to upgrade to another quadruple room. I was very angry that this wasn't clearly stated on the hotel's website. If it had been, I wouldn't have booked this place! (I complained to customer service, and Trip.com refunded the 30 euros.) Second, I booked a 7-seater private car for a day trip at the hotel. Because some people get motion sickness when sitting backward, I specifically asked the front desk. Before booking, they said the car had two rows of seats facing the same direction, not facing each other. After I paid, they then told me it only had seats facing each other. That evening, I decisively found another hotel. I'm checking out tomorrow and moving to a different place; this one is a rip-off!"

"We absolutely enjoyed our stay with Sultan. The staff were amazing & helped us very much! A big shoutout to Darina, Yunus & all the rest who has helped us so attentively & replied to our messages whenever they can! One thing I would change about my trip is to make all my bookings with them! They actually have a list of vendors they worked with & in house tours which we can signed up for. We went for the Breakfast Tour & the Hammam at their sister’s hotel, both of it we absolutely loved. We would also like to commend Shams’ hospitality in guiding us on the Breakfast Tour, making our stay in Cappadocia such an enjoyable & restorative one ❤️"

"Great stay, and the breakfast was excellent! It's super convenient to head up to the viewpoint for sunset. It was so warm in winter that the heating was almost too much! 😹 I had to sleep with the window open. Little cats would even wander in, which was adorable and made for a really happy stay. The dinner at the hotel restaurant was delicious too; I especially recommend the cheeseburger – the beef patty was really flavorful!"

"Cappadocia Cave Lodge was a great base for this friends trip! The rooms were comfortable and artfully decorated- I felt like I was living in a modern cave. The Lodge’s breakfast has been fresh and tasty. The staff have been very polite and accommodating- they brought me coffee when I sat in the hotel’s outdoor roof area to watch the hot air balloons rise over the horizon- such a nice gesture! The location itself is a short (if hilly!) walk down to the city center with lots of inviting shops (carpets, antiques- just to name a few) and cafes along the way! Would stay here again!"

"I was very sceptical at first, but oh was I wrong. An absolutely wonderful authentic stay. The decoration has made it feel like I’m somewhere really cultural, enriching the whole Cappadocia experience! Though I would probably appreciate if the doors were more soundproof. I was right next to the reception and could basically hear anything, but it was luckily quiet at night. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and the lady preparing it was very kind. Not to mention how the other staff were very friendly. I will definitely be coming back! Recommend 100%"
