The staff were extremely helpful, cheerful, and friendly. The breakfast spread is varied and includes both Chinese and Western options. Buses to the Flaming Mountains, Grape Valley, and Karez Paradise are conveniently available near the hotel."

"The surroundings of the guesthouse are just so-so, but once you step inside, it's like a whole different world. The courtyard is very comfortable, and the architecture has a strong ethnic character. They offer sand therapy services, and you can pick up the sand therapy clothes at the front desk. The complimentary fruit was delicious and very sweet. Breakfast was unexpectedly good, and the rose black tea was amazing. The chef patiently explained how to brew it, and I even bought some to take with me. The service was thoughtful, and all the staff members were lovely."

"Turpan Wellside Hostel | My most comfortable home during my trip was right next to the Karez Well! ✨ Choosing to stay at the Wellside Hostel was definitely the best decision I made on my trip to Turpan! It's located near the Karez Well scenic area, within walking distance of this ancient water conservancy marvel, and not far from the city center, making it convenient to visit Grape Valley and Flaming Mountains. The location is incredibly friendly for independent travelers. Upon entering the hostel, I was immediately struck by the bright and clean lobby! The reception area was decorated by the owner herself with a hand-painted mural, featuring a cute Afanti design full of Turpan's local characteristics, instantly showing her thoughtfulness. The lobby had sofas, a coffee table, and a huge refrigerator. The common areas were spacious and clean, making it super comfortable to sit and relax or chat with fellow travelers. The rooms exceeded my expectations! The dormitory room I stayed in had individual cubicles, each with a blackout curtain, a personal lamp, and a charging port, ensuring maximum privacy. The beds were soft and clean, with linens changed after each guest. The wardrobes and stairs were spotless, even the floor shone – a true delight for those with a phobia of germs! The bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, 24-hour hot water, and all necessary toiletries, completely free of the damp, musty smells typical of hostels. The landlady was an incredibly warm and welcoming young woman, her personality as warm as the Turpan sunshine. Upon arrival, she meticulously planned my itinerary, recommended popular local restaurants, and even reminded me of sun protection and heatstroke prevention tips for Turpan. She was always patient and helpful, making me feel completely at ease. There was also an outdoor rest area outside the hostel, perfect for relaxing in the evenings, chatting with other travelers, and enjoying the breeze. During my stay at the Jingpan Hostel, I didn't feel like a stranger at all; instead, I felt right at home with friends. The clean environment, attentive service, and convenient location made my Turpan trip incredibly enjoyable! For anyone traveling to Turpan, this is a gem of a hostel – you won't be disappointed!"

"This was my first time visiting Turpan, and I chose this newly opened guesthouse. The overall experience was excellent. I communicated with the owner beforehand about my arrival time, and they kindly drove to pick us up from the airport, saving us the trouble of taking a taxi and finding our way. They were very friendly and approachable. The guesthouse was completely renovated; the rooms and bathrooms were new and spotless, without a trace of dust or odor. The courtyard is filled with grapevines, perfect for relaxing in the shade during the day and picking fresh grapes right there. Located in Grape Valley's Frog Lane, it's very convenient for exploring the scenic area. I highly recommend it."

"This is simply the best homestay we have ever stayed in Xinjiang, no doubt about it! The environment is beautiful, the rooms are very clean, and the decoration style is a bit like a fusion of old money style and ethnic style.. I feel that this is even not inferior to the luxury star hotel we stayed in Sanya... The details are full, the service is super thoughtful, the front desk clerk always has a smile on his face, very friendly and professional, and very good-looking! Always care about the requirements of the guests, and also sent us welcome fruits and desserts! The breakfast buffet is also very good! There are many varieties.. When I left, I also sent delicious rice dumplings for the children.. Overall, this stay experience is really perfect! We will definitely visit this homestay again!"

"The stars I can give are all for the security guards. We arrived in Turpan at 1 AM and checked in. The security guard even helped open the parking lot door and carried our luggage as soon as we parked. It was so late that we went straight to sleep. We only discovered how terrible the hotel's cleanliness was the next day… After waking up, I called the front desk to ask what time breakfast was. They said it ended at 10:30. It was already 10:10, so I rushed downstairs for breakfast. I saw the front desk staff playing on their phones and laughing, while the security guard was clearing the tables. The front desk staff were worse than the security guards! I suggest they just replace them! They'd be better off working for the security guards! After breakfast, I went back to sleep for a while. When I woke up at 1:40 PM to check out, I found the elderly couple and their child sitting outside. Apparently, I had called them around 1 PM to urge them to check out, making them feel bad about staying in the room before the due date."

"The location was gd. Eateries nearby. Room was clean. The only thing that could be improved was to power up the aircon before guest check in. Turpan's temperature was a high 42degC on those 2 days we were there. It was warm when we check in. And the airon took the whole night to cool down to a comfortable cooling temp."
