GGuest UserCleaning lady friendly and helpful. Owners who normally run the place out of town. Hotel is about 10 minute walk to town. Most of the road to plaza is paved. I ate at a very good restaurant in plaza. Almost all the restaurants offer excellent views and vegetarian options. The hotel has glorious views from the rooftop where they serve breakfast daily. There is coffee available or hot water 24x7. The area is quite except for cows mooing. Internet excellent. Hot shower excellent. Eggs made to order for breakfast. Google translate needed at hotel + in town. Wish all hotels offered filtered water. This would reduce the daily purchase of plastic bottled water. I enjoyed my stay.

The hotel is clean, cozy, and comfortable, and you can truly feel the care for guests. After visiting Machu Picchu, even after check-out, we still had plenty of time before our train. The staff kindly allowed us to wait in the lobby, charge our phones, and use the Wi-Fi, which was extremely helpful. We highly recommend this hotel!

GGuest UserA great hotel for visiting Machu Picchu. We were met right off the train with a sign. They explained and showed us everything. The room was excellent and large, with a huge bed. All the linens were dry, and there was no problem with hot water. You can leave your luggage; don't bring it with you to visit Machu Picchu. 👍

You are within easy walking distance of the bus station to Machu Picchu, the train station, and the central market. Most importantly, there are ample food options and restaurants available right near the hotel, making it incredibly convenient for meals. How to Reach from Airport Cusco Airport to ollantaytambo train station. Taxi charges 35 USD Time: 1.5hrs ollantaytambo train station to Machu Picchu/ aguas calientes train station: 135 USD return tickets, per person. Time: 1.45hrs Aguas calientes train station to hotel is on walk of 500 meters. Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu Bus available: 24 USD return ticket. Time 20min · Helpful and Friendly Owner: A major highlight was the owner. He was exceptionally helpful, offering great advice and guiding us on our tour plans. This local insight was invaluable and made our trip much smoother. · Good Daily Breakfast: The included breakfast was tasty and satisfying, providing a great start to the day. It's also the time when tea and coffee are served, so you can get your caffeine fix before heading out. · Clean and Tidy: Daily cleaning service is provided, and our room was always kept spotless. The hotel feels very well-maintained. · Convenient Currency: As noted, USD is widely accepted in the area at the market rate, which includes settling your bill at the hotel. This makes things very easy for international travelers. Things to Note: · No In-Room Tea/Coffee: Be aware that there are no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. You'll need to wait for the breakfast service or pop out to one of the many nearby cafes if you want a drink outside of those hours.

Unfortunately the room I got is right in front above where their exhaust fan releases smoke so if I leave the room opened, the room will smell food. A lot of restaurants nearby, hotel is facing the railway, so you can get a railway view or mountain / lake view.

The rooms are nice and clean, the breakfast is ok, but the most important thing is that they will help you all the way your tour to the Machu Picchu.
