Hotels in Taihu Yuantouzhu/Liyuan Scenic Area, Wuxi

I've never been keen on writing reviews before, but my first Ctrip review goes to this hotel. Its location is excellent, right next to Liyuan Garden and just a few minutes' walk from the Taihu Star Ferris Wheel amusement park. I stayed for two nights, and the service was incredibly thoughtful. They proactively upgraded my room and allowed a late check-out until 2 PM. The room's facilities were top-notch, making for a very comfortable stay. The environment was clean and tidy. I had dinner at the hotel's Chinese restaurant and ordered breakfast to my room in the mornings; both the dishes and flavors were fantastic. The chef seems quite renowned. The restaurant also sells tea, and I bought four boxes of Cuizhu and two bags of Biluochun. The tea quality was excellent too. If I visit Wuxi again, I will definitely choose to stay here.

Overall, my stay was incredibly comfortable, and I just had to write a positive review! First, the location is truly convenient for sightseeing. It's about a ten-minute bike ride to Liyuan Garden, and Yuangtouzhu is only about four or five kilometers away, so a taxi ride won't break the bank. Huishan Ancient Town is roughly 4 kilometers away, perfect for a morning visit and then coming back to rest. The hotel facilities are very new, the bedding is comfortable, hot water comes out quickly, and the soundproofing is excellent, so I slept very soundly at night. What I want to praise the most is the service. Both the front desk staff and the housekeeping aunties were incredibly friendly and helpful, answering all my questions. When I checked out, they even proactively asked if I needed to store my luggage. This kind of thoughtful service felt very natural and not at all forced. All in all, it's great value for money, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Wuxi!

The hotel is conveniently located next to Vientiane City Shopping Mall, making dining and shopping very easy. It's also less than 10 kilometers from popular attractions like Lihu Lake, Yuantouzhu Park, Nanchan Temple Ancient Street, and Huishan Ancient Town. The room was spacious, clean, and bright, and the service was attentive and friendly. Free parking was a big plus. The breakfast spread was excellent, and I'd especially like to thank the breakfast restaurant manager (a lady) for thoughtfully providing slippers for my child. That was a really sweet touch!

My family and I have a wonderful stay and received excellent hospitality during our recent stay at the Grand Kingtown Hotel. The room was spacious, exceptionally clean and very comfortable. The view was absolutely great and made the entire experience even more enjoyable and relaxing. I would also like to especially thank your staff (in particular菜菜）for the superb service and warm hospitality throughout our stay. Her attentiveness and professionalism truly made a difference and made me feel very welcomed. I truly appreciate the excellent service and look forward to staying with you again in the future.

When I went to Wuxi this time, I mainly wanted to see the night view of Huishan Ancient Town, and I also wanted to stay in a resort-style hotel, so I chose Taihu Hotel. From the moment we arrived by car, everyone from the concierge to the front desk and all other staff members were very enthusiastic and provided service with a smile. We checked into Zone 8 of the main building, and there was no sense of being outdated at all. The room was large, clean, and hygienic. The room was equipped with 8 bottles of drinking water, and the drinks in the mini-fridge were thoughtfully chosen, not just a perfunctory selection 😂. The breakfast was very rich.

My stay at Atour truly exceeded expectations! The room facilities were incredibly thoughtful – smart toilet, high-definition projector, and super soft mattress and pillows; lying down instantly melted away my fatigue. Even the desk and chair were comfortable. The breakfast selection was incredibly rich, offering everything from freshly ground coffee and squeezed juices to hot congee, pastries, and salads. The ingredients were fresh and the taste was fantastic, plus there were local specialty snacks. I felt energized all day after eating! The environment was simply beyond words. The lobby was quiet and elegant with a very soothing fragrance. The hallways and rooms were sparkling clean, with every detail meticulously cared for. The staff member, Hongdou, was also exceptionally gentle and attentive, always happy to help with any request. My stay was so comfortable! I'll definitely choose Atour again next time.

An absolutely fantastic stay! Atour, as always, delivers consistent quality. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the service was warm and attentive. The location next to MixC is super convenient for getting around and dining. Both rooms we booked were excellent. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Wuxi. Highly recommend!

The hotel has just opened, the whole is quite new, the front desk is very warm, the details are in place, the staff are basically young people, the service is very thoughtful, the room is quite big and clean. The hotel is equipped with free parking, parking is very convenient, but the hotel location is around the car 4s store, there are no shops and places to eat around, eating to run far, if you don't buy breakfast, it will be a bit inconvenient.

Every year, my family of three visits the Lingshan Grand Buddha, and each time we choose a different hotel. This year, we opted for the Marriott, and even though it's about a 40-minute drive from the Buddha, we felt it was well worth it. Not only is the hotel's interior beautiful, but the scenery right across the street is also stunning! Liyuan Garden is just a short walk away, and we happened to catch their hydrangeas exhibition. The gardens were bursting with flowers, full of summer charm, and bustling with visitors. We stayed for two nights, and the breakfast was superb, offering both Western and Chinese options. The Wuxi xiaolongbao (steamed soup dumplings) and egg pancakes were absolutely delicious! For dinner at the Chinese restaurant, I'd say the steamed whitefish was the highlight; the fish was incredibly fresh and tender! White shrimp wasn't available at the time, but the silverfish soup was also exceptionally good. Furthermore, all the hotel staff were very polite and provided attentive and thoughtful service. We were all very satisfied.

Traveling with kids during spring break, this Holiday Inn Express was perfectly located. It's not far from the attractions, and right next to MixC shopping mall and the subway station, making getting around super convenient. Before check-in, the front desk upgraded us to a family room, which was incredibly thoughtful. The room was huge, with two separate bedrooms, each with a large bed, offering great privacy. Excellent value for money!
