The room was clean and tidy, with complete facilities. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and I slept very soundly. The location is convenient, making it easy to get around. The front desk service was warm and thoughtful. I highly recommend staying here.

This is probably the best hotel in Xining. The service and facilities are well-maintained, the rooms are spacious, the bedding is comfortable, and the cleanliness is excellent. It's located in a bustling area with several shopping complexes nearby, which might lead to some noise at night (due to outside activities).

5-star recommendation! I stayed at the Vienna Hotel Xi'an Haihu Wanda Plaza, and the location is absolutely fantastic. Wanda Plaza is right downstairs, so dining, shopping, and entertainment are all conveniently accessible. Getting around was incredibly easy. The front desk staff processed my check-in quickly and were warm and polite. The room was spotless, the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, the mattress was just right—neither too soft nor too hard—and the soundproofing was good, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The facilities were comprehensive, offering excellent value for money. This is definitely my top choice for visiting Xi'an; I'll be staying here again next time!

The location is great, right across from Wanda Plaza, making shopping, leisure, and dining super convenient. There's plenty of parking both above ground and underground. The hotel facilities are decent; not new, but not run-down either. Most hotels in Xining don't have air conditioning. Breakfast selection is good – not super extensive, but all the essentials are there. The staff are all very enthusiastic and respond quickly. Given it's peak season, the price is what it is. Overall, I'm satisfied; you can't have everything.

The attention to detail was impressive, it offered great value for money, and they even had late-night snacks! It's a perfect stop for a long road trip. In particular, I should praise the staff Xiao Chen, the service is warm and polite, the work is attentive and thoughtful, the response is timely when you need help, the attitude is gentle and intimate, and it adds a lot of good feelings to the journey. The hotel has complete supporting facilities and convenient travel. Whether it is a travel or a business trip, it is very suitable, and the overall price is very high. The experience is full, and I will give priority to this one next time I come to the local area, and I will recommend it to friends who travel around me.

Let's start with the positives: 1. The hotel is a convenient 10-minute walk to Wanda Plaza. The breakfast variety and taste are both excellent. They have everything from mini wontons, noodles, bread, cakes, yogurt, stir-fries, congee, cereal, and juices (of course, it can't compare to a five-star hotel, but it's very good for a hotel of its caliber). 2. The hotel offers a self-service laundry room with complimentary washers and dryers. There are even sticky notes and magnets next to them, so you can write your room number on a note and attach it. If you can't pick up your laundry promptly, the staff can retrieve it, put it into a laundry bag, and deliver it to your room. This is absolutely fantastic! Now for the downsides: 1. The room I booked was advertised as having a smart toilet, but the bidet function didn't work; the water sprayed downwards instead of upwards. 2. The mini-fridge in the room was very noisy, clearly old and due for replacement. Plus, it was unplugged, and I had to pull it out to plug it in (I'm guessing the previous guest unplugged it because of the noise, but it should have been plugged back in during room cleaning, otherwise the next guest can't get cold drinks). Finally, a positive note on the service: I left in a hurry and forgot my charger in the room. After I called, the staff immediately verified they found it and promptly couriered it to the specified address. The response time was very quick! I have to give them high praise for the service.

This Hampton by Hilton in Haihu New Area is fantastic! It's perfectly located in the new district, offering the best of both worlds: close enough to enjoy the hustle and bustle, yet just far enough to escape the noise. The room decor is top-notch, and the soundproofing is excellent – I slept like a baby until morning, perfectly recharged for the rest of my trip. The hot water system is also great, with powerful water pressure that feels like a massage. The bedding was clean and hygienic, living up to Hilton's consistently high standards. Breakfast was wonderful, abundant, nutritious, and very satisfying. I highly recommend this newly opened Hampton by Hilton. It truly embodies the spirit of 'having friends come from afar, how delightful!'

Pro points - The beds are soft and comfy, good showers with very hot water. Rooms were clean. The buses from outside connect well to the Muslim area of the city and the restaurants nearby are nice. Staff are friendly. Bad points - We booked a non smoking room, all the rooms available were infact non smoking and yet the whole place absolutely stank of cigarettes. We moved rooms because after dinner we came back to a haze of smoke in the room, everyone must be smoking. I live in China, I realise this isn't uncommon, but in that case don't advertise non smoking rooms.

This was by far the worst hotel we stayed at on our Qinghai-Gansu loop tour, completely lacking any sense of service. From the front desk to the restaurant staff and even the greeters, we felt no warmth and were met with cold faces almost everywhere. The room phone was always unreachable and there were no instructions on how to use it. I really don't understand how this hotel operates and is managed. No matter how grand its appearance, it'll be hard to attract repeat customers with service like that. Quite a disappointment.
