Hotels in Wanda Plaza/Tangdao 637, Xining

5-star review! This stay exceeded my expectations. Being on a high floor, the night view was excellent. The hotel facilities were complete and well-maintained. The room was exceptionally clean, with attention to detail, making for a very comfortable stay. The breakfast offered a rich variety and tasted great, and I was pleasantly surprised to find they also had late-night snacks, which were delicious. The hotel even thoughtfully provided a small gift, and the service was incredibly warm. It's my top choice for travel, and I'll definitely stay here again next time! 👍

I was extremely satisfied with my stay! The hotel environment was great, the facilities were new, and it was very clean, making me feel safe and secure. The location is excellent; restaurants and shopping malls are right outside, making dining and shopping convenient. There's also a gas station nearby, making it especially convenient for those driving. The service was also very attentive. Overall, it's great value for money and I would definitely stay here again.

I've stayed at three hotels around Wangfujing, and the Sofitel had the most extensive breakfast. Room facilities were pretty similar across the board; the Chaidamu and City Express might be newer, but it didn't affect the stay. The hotel lobby is quite grand, and it's also very close to the safari park.

I checked and found out that this Mandarin Oriental opened in 2016. It's a landmark high-rise in the Lake-View New Area and has been better maintained than expected. The lobby features some ******* design elements, with recognizable Thangka murals and chandeliers that break away from the cookie-cutter business style. The high-altitude views really create a great atmosphere. Although it faces the street, it was very quiet at night. The mattress had a good level of firmness, hot water for the shower came out quickly, and a humidifier was provided, which is quite practical in a dry place like Xining. Breakfast included some local specialties and is worth a try.

Traveling to Xining for the Qinghai-Gansu Grand Loop, our twin room at Atour S Hotel SDIC Plaza Haihu New District Xining far exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious and bright, with two generously sized beds and soft, clean bedding. The humidifier, essential for high-altitude travel, was provided. The bathroom was separated into wet and dry areas, and the toiletries were of good quality. The front desk service was efficient and thoughtful, and the self-service laundry room was very practical for long-distance road trippers. The soundproofing was excellent, allowing us to rest well after a tiring day.

The location is great, right across from Wanda Plaza, making shopping, leisure, and dining super convenient. There's plenty of parking both above ground and underground. The hotel facilities are decent; not new, but not run-down either. Most hotels in Xining don't have air conditioning. Breakfast selection is good – not super extensive, but all the essentials are there. The staff are all very enthusiastic and respond quickly. Given it's peak season, the price is what it is. Overall, I'm satisfied; you can't have everything.

Staying at the Qaidam International Hotel in Xining was such a breeze! The room was clean and even had a humidifier, which is perfect for the high-altitude climate. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The front desk staff were enthusiastic and efficient, and the soundproofing was excellent. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm here.

Great price for a nice clean hotel. Good wifi and near an area with many restaurants and tea houses. The ladies at the desk are very friendly and, with your translator app, very helpful!

This hotel is a great value-for-money option located in Haihu New District, about a 15-20 minute drive from Xining's old town. The decor is modern and bright, and the rooms are quite spacious, featuring a sofa and a small workstation. The blackboard-style message area is a nice touch. The rooms are highly automated, with a smart TV that allows screen mirroring and a mini-fridge with complimentary drinks. The breakfast offers everything you'd expect from a Hampton Inn of this caliber. Right next to the hotel is a famous local seafood restaurant, and directly across the street, there's an entire strip of convenient eateries. However, note that it's a 10-15 minute walk to Wanda Plaza, so it's not super close. Also, due to road construction right outside the hotel, you might need to walk a short distance to the parking lot entrance to catch a taxi.

An absolutely fantastic hotel! Excellent value for money and a really comfortable stay. It easily rivals five-star hotels. I wonder if their ranking is so low because they don't pay for advertising? The breakfast pastries are a real highlight, tasting like they're from a high-end patisserie with no artificial flavors. They also offer local specialty noodles and milk tea. The milk tea, especially with yak butter, is wonderfully rich. For kids, there's even a make-your-own-waffle station. And the lamb offal soup is incredibly delicious, with no ***** taste. Highly recommended!
