Pet Friendly Hotels in Yunnan, China

Hotel was amazing, great value for money with plenty of space and clean rooms. Located in old town, it’s only a short 10min walk from the bus stops to Tiger Leaping Gorge, Blue Moon Valley, Yulong Mountain, as well as being close to a small car accessible road for a car drop off/pick up. The highlight is the staff, all very friendly. Every night they drink tea in a room in the central courtyard and invite guests to join in and chat, it’s a great place to meet people. Even though they cannot speak much English, they never ignore you and make sure you’re included in conversations by asking questions and translating things. They’re especially helpful with making bookings for the local attractions and transport, as well as suggesting various other cool spots (like where to buy good tea). I was pleasantly surprised and fondly look back on my time here.

Staying at Honglin Pavilion Inn in Dali was an absolute gem! The facilities and amenities were top-notch, far exceeding my expectations, and truly enhanced my trip. The inn's location is incredibly convenient. Step right out into the ancient city's streets, and a stroll to Erhai Lake is just a few minutes away. Walking into the courtyard was a breathtaking experience; it's designed in a classical Chinese garden style, with rockeries and flowing water complemented by vintage lanterns. The common areas feature incredibly comfortable rattan chairs and tea sets, and they even provide complimentary tea and utensils. In my free time, I'd brew a pot of tea and enjoy the scenery – it was so relaxing I didn't want to leave. All in all, the stay brought immense happiness. Next time I'm in Dali, I'll definitely choose this place again!

This guesthouse is really unique! The hostess and the young man working there were both incredibly welcoming. As soon as I arrived, they invited me to relax, warm up by the fire, and offered some butter tea. The room was very clean, and the underfloor heating kept it wonderfully warm. The breakfast didn't have a huge variety, but what they offered was delicious! 👍

The hotel is conveniently located near Dongmen, surrounded by a plethora of fantastic food options, and you can even enjoy a drink at a bar in the evenings. The facilities are comprehensive, the hygiene is impeccable, and the environment is beautiful. The service from the staff, especially the ladies, was exceptional—they were incredibly warm and welcoming. I'll definitely stay here again next time!

I brought my children to Luoping to see the rapeseed flowers. This is a very distinctive hotel. The service provided by the front desk lady is very good, proactive, enthusiastic, and friendly. The room lady greeted me with a smile, and I felt at home. The room is very spacious, the decoration is also very delicate, reasonable, and clean, and the bedding is very comfortable. The breakfast has many varieties and tastes good. The restaurant staff took the initiative to help the children serve breakfast. It is worth recommending. The hotel staff is so excellent, and the hotel leaders must be excellent too.

This guesthouse is located right by the Duoyishu Rice Terraces, offering direct views of the sunrise and morning mist from the rooms. The service was great, and the restaurant was good too – I highly recommend the 'Zhanshui Chicken'. We were lucky enough to catch both the sunrise and the sea of clouds. Aichunlan, just a few kilometers from the guesthouse, was also lovely. We happened to visit during the Hani ethnic group's 'Xiao Nian' (Minor New Year) and even saw the owner's family catching rice paddy fish. The only downside was having to skip the sunset at Daba due to our itinerary. I'll definitely come back if I get the chance!

Highly recommended, a perfect score! The ambiance of this hotel in Dali is absolutely stunning! The luckiest thing about my trip to Dali was choosing the right hotel! As soon as I arrived at the entrance, I was captivated by the lush greenery. The courtyard is filled with succulents and local plants, with traditional Bai-style architecture interspersed throughout. Every casual photo turns out to be a stunning, atmospheric shot, so there's no need to specially seek out scenic spots for photos. The room offers amazing views; opening the window reveals the silhouette of Cangshan Mountain. I woke up to bird songs in the morning and enjoyed a sky full of stars at night – it was so tranquil and healing. The interior decor is minimalist yet tasteful, and the cleanliness was exceptional. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and combined with the gentle lighting, it instantly melted away all travel fatigue. The public areas are also a big plus: a lounge area surrounded by greenery, clean and tidy corridors, and even fresh flowers placed in the elevator area. You can feel the thoughtfulness everywhere. The hotel's overall environment is quiet and not noisy, allowing you to enjoy the fresh air of nature while having a private and comfortable stay. Staying here in Dali was truly worth it! I've already recommended it to friends, and I'll choose it again next time I visit.

I have so many things to say about this place. First of all, the host was truly amazing 🤙🏼💯👌🏻🤌🏻. Super kind, very friendly and really helpful. Every question I asked was answered right away. Even when I cancelled one night, he was still totally fine with it. He kept checking on me before check in, during the stay and even after I left 💕 The room was incredibly comfortable 🛏️✨. Like super comfy. The floor heating worked really well and everything was clean. The toilet had an auto bidet which honestly is the most important thing for Malaysians haha 🚿😉 The location was amazing. Only a two minute walk to a halal shop 🍽️. Just five minutes to the center of Dukezong Ancient City 🏯✨. There are also several halal restaurants nearby in the same row as KFC 🍗🌙 我真的有很多想说的。首先房东真的非常棒 🤙🏼💯👌🏻🤌🏻。人很好也很亲切而且超级愿意帮忙。我问什么他都马上回复。甚至我取消了一晚的住宿他也完全没问题。他从入住前到入住中到离开后都有关心我的情况 💕 房间超级舒服 🛏️✨。真的很舒服。地暖很好用。房间很干净。厕所还有自动冲洗马桶。对马来西亚人来说这个真的是重点哈哈 🚿😉 地点也非常方便。走两分钟就有清真店 🍽️。走五分钟就到独克宗古城中心 🏯✨。附近也有好几家清真餐厅就在肯德基旁边那一排 🍗🌙

The whole room was very clean, a local guesthouse. The room environment was good, with a smart toilet and shower facilities, and it was relatively quiet at night. Overall, it was a great experience! I'll definitely book again next time!!! I got back a bit late, so I forgot to take pictures 😅 I highly recommend that smart toilet!!! They also provided disposable toilet seat covers.

Our room was on the top floor, featuring an openable skylight that provided fantastic views. I arrived in the afternoon with some work to catch up on, and the bedside tea table was absolutely perfect for working while enjoying the scenery – a really nice touch! While the skylight's strong UV rays meant it was best kept closed during the day, I imagine opening it at night for stargazing would be amazing. Unfortunately, it rained during my stay, so I just enjoyed watching the rain through it, which was actually quite pleasant. The ancient town is just about a 5-minute walk away, right down the stairs. Overall, I was very satisfied. The room was clean, free of any odors, and the smart toilet was a convenient bonus.
