Truly, we have so many sweet and unforgetable memories during our stay in Pan Pacific Hotel Suchou. We booked ”Family Two Bedrooms” for 4 of us & this room was the best family room we ever had. This room has 2 spacious bedrooms, 2 clean bathrooms and a mini kitchen with refridgerator, microwave and sink that made our in-room experience was very comfortable. The housekeeping was also very kind plus their excellent services to mention. We remember this Ms. Xia Ning, a room attendant, who left a beautiful postcard in our room with her heartful and warm greetings with her own handwritings to make sure we had comfortable stay and satisfied. We are surely touched by her beyond service.
The hotel's breakfast was one of the best with so various dishes and all were delicious. Some food were resembling the famous and delicate Chinese cuisines.
We fully enjoyed Pan Pacific Suzhou Hotel's Panmen Scenic Area. The scenes of their large beautiful garden at noon and at night was unforgetable. We had a chance to try Chinese traditional clothings from Wu Palace Hanfu Experience Center (with Ms. Yichen's generous assistance) and also one-hour cheongsam experience (for women) that helped us to take many beautiful memorable photos. Other hotel's enjoyable benefits include Suzhou Memories-Wu Palace Historical, Collection of Passport Documents for Wu Palace, Tai Chi Experience, CNY 100 SPA voucher at Jialiya Spa & Free self-service laundry and drying. It surely gave us worth time to spent in the hotel. Our sweet 5-star experience with Pan Pacific Suzhou Hotel this time surely will make us to come back to this great hotel in our next visit to Suzhou.

Staying at Yangzhou Yingbinguan, I felt the full romance of a spring day in Jiangnan ✨.
I took my mom on a trip to Yangzhou and was instantly smitten with Yangzhou Yingbinguan! From check-in to check-out, every detail perfectly hit the mark for aesthetics and comfort. Half of the joy of this trip came from this amazing hotel!
🏡 Living in a Jiangnan Garden, every step is a poem.
The entire complex is a massive traditional Chinese garden, with pavilions, towers, small bridges over flowing water, and rockeries. In spring, cherry blossoms and crabapples are in full bloom, and black swans gracefully swim on the lake. Even the air is filled with the fragrant scent of plants and trees.
We stayed in Building 11, and the hotel thoughtfully prepared welcome gifts: 'Mi San Dao', 'Xiao Mabing', and 'Niupi Tang' from Qilin Pavilion, along with specialty pastries embossed with 'Yangzhou'. The room facilities were also very new.
Shuttle carts were available on call throughout the park, making it super convenient to get from our room to Quyuan or other places. It was so thoughtful for traveling with seniors, as they didn't have to walk too much!
📸 Hanfu Styling, bringing the spring vibe to life.
The package included a Hanfu photoshoot, located on the first floor of Building 11. There were dozens of Hanfu styles, and the free options were quite good. If you preferred, paid options were an additional 100 RMB.
We also added makeup and styling for 100 RMB per person. The makeup artist was excellent; even with many guests waiting, she was very dedicated. The photographer was also great, skilled at guiding poses. My mom's photos turned out gentle and elegant! We received 5 free lightly retouched photos, and additional retouches were only 20 RMB/photo, which was good value for money.
🍜 Quyuan, a Black Pearl Restaurant.
Quyuan Teahouse, a Black Pearl 1-diamond restaurant, is conveniently located right within Yingbinguan, meaning you don't have to leave the hotel to experience it! It does get very busy, so it's a good idea to get a number in advance and then explore nearby. The hotel's own breakfast was also excellent.
🚶♀️ Direct Access to Slender West Lake, no queuing is a blessing!
On the second day, to visit Slender West Lake, the hotel has an exclusive fast lane! No need to wait in long queues at the scenic area entrance; you can enter directly from the hotel grounds. This was truly stress-free for traveling with seniors (normal admission tickets are still required).
The hotel garden seamlessly connects to Slender West Lake. In spring, Slender West Lake is vibrant with green willows and colorful flowers, with beautiful scenery at every turn.
🎭 Intangible Cultural Heritage Mini-Theater, an immersive experience of Yangzhou folk customs.
During the holidays, the hotel arranged an 'Intangible Cultural Heritage Mini-Theater', which truly amazed us! Yangzhou puppet shows, Yangzhou Qingqu opera, and Yangzhou Pinghua storytelling were performed in rotation. The performers were all professional, and acts like puppet calligraphy and pipa serenades were full of Yangzhou charm.
This trip to Yangzhou, Yangzhou Yingbinguan truly gave us so many surprises. From the garden landscape and thoughtful service to the delicious food and intangible cultural heritage experiences, all the beauty of Yangzhou was concentrated here.
When traveling with your mom, choosing the right hotel is so important! Next time I come to Yangzhou, I will definitely stay here again!

Families, when you come to Suzhou, you absolutely *must* stay at the Houju Shangcheng branch! The room is incredibly spacious, so the kids have plenty of room to play without feeling cramped. The cleanliness is spot-on, and the bed is sturdy, which gives me so much peace of mind when traveling with little ones. The hotel also seamlessly incorporates local elements – Suzhou-style windows, white walls, and dark tiled roofs make you feel like you've stepped right into the 'Prosperous Suzhou' painting! Yet, the room itself boasts a chic French retro style; the blend of ancient and modern is just brilliant! And the transportation? Unbeatable! It's directly accessible via Metro Line 2, and Shangchengmen, Changmen, and Shantang Street are all nearby. The ladies at the front desk were wonderful; they recommended so many amazing local eateries that only residents would know about. The facilities and equipment are also brand new. We had such a comfortable stay!

Location: Super convenient! Confucius Temple, Fuguo Street, Suning Mall, Golden Eagle, Hubushan, and Huilongwo are all within walking distance. The subway station is right downstairs, which is a huge plus, especially during Golden Week when traffic can be a nightmare. It's definitely a landmark building in the absolute city center.
Cleanliness: Better than expected, but since it's on a high floor, all the windows are sealed. I personally prefer good ventilation.
Facilities: Better than expected, but the hairdryer was a bit basic.
Service: The housekeeping staff and the cheerful young man who seated us in the restaurant were all very polite and genuinely enthusiastic, not just mechanically so.

The resort's overall environment and landscaping are absolutely beautiful, with a very comfortable Jiangnan-style (Southern China) aesthetic. We stayed in a private hot spring villa with a well-designed layout and excellent privacy. It's pet-friendly, and although they charged a 300 RMB fee, our dog had a great time.
The private hot spring requires two hours to fill in advance, and the staff taught us how to heat it, which was a good experience. However, they didn't show us how to drain it, and when we asked the next day, we were told, 'We already taught you yesterday,' which was a bit… *cringes*.
Drawbacks: I've stayed in similar types of accommodations at this price point, but the service here wasn't as professional by comparison; there's room for improvement. The facilities are a bit dated (TV, air conditioning, water dispenser), the curtains were inconvenient to use, and the bathrobes seemed old. The check-in process wasn't very clear, and the public hot spring was crowded and not very clean.
Overall, the good outweighs the bad. The environment and private hot spring are big plusses, making it suitable for a relaxing getaway.

Stumbled upon this hotel, saw the price was good, so I booked it.
Only found out upon check-in that this is the tallest building in Wuxi. The subway station is right downstairs, and Xiao Lou Alley is just across the street. Getting around is super convenient.
The hotel's ground-floor entrance isn't very obvious; I walked around a bit before finding it and initially thought it was an office building lobby. I went in and asked, and that's when I learned the hotel's front desk is on the 43rd floor. Taking the express elevator made my ears pop a bit.
The room was great, the view was nice, and it was clean. The complimentary soft drinks from the minibar for Trip.com members and the welcome fruit from the hotel were a thoughtful touch.
I had read reviews mentioning poor soundproofing and was worried it might affect my sleep, but it turned out to be very quiet.
Check-out was also very fast; I just handed in the room card and left.
Overall, it was a very good experience. I'd definitely stay here again.

The location is super central and convenient for getting anywhere. The front desk service was decent, but I have to complain about the room. The facilities are really old, and the bathroom was the most absurd I've ever encountered. The showerhead is above the bathtub, so you have to stand inside the tub to shower, which felt a bit unhygienic. Plus, there's no exhaust fan in the bathroom, so it got incredibly hot after a shower. One mirror against the wall was even hot to the touch for some unknown reason. Overall, the space was cramped and definitely didn't have the comfort of a five-star hotel.

When I was choosing a hotel, I was a bit hesitant. Since I was traveling with elders, I figured the Shangri-La Hotel would be a safe bet. I had seen some negative reviews online before, which made me a little worried. However, after staying there myself this time, I found it wasn't as bad as those reviews made it out to be. I'd personally rate it at least an 85 out of 100.
On the first day, we checked in around 4 PM. I asked the front desk if we could have rooms on the same floor as my elders, and it took them about 20 minutes to arrange it for us. Although the efficiency wasn't great, I was still quite grateful. After checking in, we went to the executive lounge for dinner. Even though they called it 'light meals,' there were plenty of options, and the food tasted good. We definitely got our fill. The view from the 26th floor was also excellent. After dinner, we went for a swim; the pool was very clean and not crowded, so it was a pleasant experience.
For breakfast on the second day, there were many local specialty noodles and wontons, and a good variety. However, there weren't many Western options, making it feel less international. On our last day, since our high-speed train was at 4:30 PM, we asked the hotel for a late check-out, which they kindly granted. We even managed to have a meal at the Shang Palace when we returned to the hotel around 1:30 PM.
Overall, my stay was good. However, the hotel's details still need improvement. Personally, I found the air conditioning to be a bit noisy, perhaps due to older equipment. The service staff's service awareness also needs to be enhanced. I saw quite a few staff members on their phones during work hours.

When I came to Nanjing this time, I really wanted to explore Laomendong, so I chose this hotel based on online guides.
**Amenities:** Our room was upgraded. The overall decor had a natural wood tone with a touch of Republic of China-era style. The room was very clean, and everything was perfectly in order. We also received complimentary welcome fruits and snacks, and the fridge had my child's favorite small drinks – very nice!
**Service:** We were two adults and one child. The front desk staff asked about my child's height, and since she was exactly 1.2 meters, the kind lady thoughtfully arranged for a complimentary breakfast for her as well.
Speaking of breakfast, it was incredibly refined and well-prepared, clearly the work of a professional chef. Every item was delicious, and the room service delivery was impeccably sealed with cling film, looking very hygienic. The taste was also excellent – so yummy!.
**Service:** The hotel offers free, unlimited parking at the Laomendong P3 parking lot. The elevator from the parking lot leads directly to the hotel, which is super convenient.
**Environment:** The hotel also features a small garden called 'Jieziyuan' (Mustard Seed Garden). I heard it was once the residence of the great scholar Li Yu. Guests staying at the hotel can visit it for free. It's very antique and charming, with many young women taking traditional-style photos there. The scenery is superb!
**Hygiene:** Very clean. This will definitely be my top choice for hotels whenever I visit Laomendong again. It offers great value for money, excellent service, and a beautiful aesthetic.

MM559918****I recently stayed at Element Suzhou Science and Technology City and had a wonderful experience. I highly recommend it to everyone! The hotel is very warm and comfortable, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the beds are just the right firmness for a wonderful sleep. The room amenities are comprehensive, from the smart lighting to the high-quality toiletries, and every detail feels thoughtfully thought out.
The hotel service is particularly noteworthy. The front desk staff is warm and friendly, and check-in and check-out are quick and hassle-free. The restaurant's breakfast is also rich, varied, and delicious, offering many local specialties. It feels like home.
The hotel's location is also very convenient, with convenient transportation. The surrounding commercial areas and attractions are easily accessible, making it ideal for both business and leisure travelers. Overall, my stay was a very pleasant one. I will definitely stay again and recommend it to everyone!

CChifanpeiyinliaoThis hotel is definitely a great place to walk your kids! The ecology is very good! We even saw a hare! But maybe it’s because it’s outdoors! It seems like the door to the candy room is a little broken! Not so easy to close! Then the electric cars in the park require money to use but they are too slow! And the cost is a bit high!
The service attitude at the front desk is very good! Very eager to help!
The road to the swimming pool is not easy to walk! Must be very careful! It's easy to fall! The locker room environment needs cleaning!
The interior of the room is clean and acceptable!

JJiayongThe B&B has a nice courtyard and good service. However, no matter how good the view is, the main purpose is to sleep, and the room had a piercing high-frequency electrical noise that kept me up all night. The owner reportedly sleeps on the second floor himself, so why haven't they fixed this hardware issue? Also, the so-called private courtyard pool is just a small puddle in their guesthouse, not a private pool for your room. I'm truly baffled by this misleading claim. I heard the owner is even a chairman of an association; if a chairman is like this, what about the other member establishments? The chairman said if you mention his name, the restaurants on the street would give you some 'snacks' – but these so-called snacks are just a small flatbread that all restaurants serve, whether you mention his name or not. The restaurant where I mentioned his name even overcharged me by dozens of yuan on the bill. In short, if you're just going for a photoshoot, it might be okay, but if you're truly looking for a relaxing vacation stay, I'd recommend sticking to professional hotels.
GGuest UserAt the Kimpton Bamboo Grove Suzhou, I experienced what 'service before check-in' truly means. Our butler, Vickey, proactively reached out via WeChat even before our arrival, meticulously inquiring about our arrival time and preferences. This kind of thoughtful, pre-emptive care instantly put us at ease. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised to find our room on the top floor (the third floor), cleverly avoiding any potential noise from the park and offering both excellent privacy and views.
The hotel's facilities seamlessly blend the charm of Jiangnan gardens with modern luxury. In the room, the mini-bar was complimentary for the first round and meticulously restocked daily by the butler, offering a full range of soft drinks and local specialty snacks. The daily complimentary fresh seasonal fruits, whether it was bayberries or Cuiguan pears, truly embodied the spirit of Suzhou. What impressed me most was the 'sense of proportion' in the service – the butler was never intrusive, yet the morning weather reminders and evening inquiries about adjusting the air conditioning temperature were always perfectly timed. The hot spring pool and dry sauna in the changing rooms by the swimming pool further enhanced the relaxed vacation vibe. There was no forced flattery here, only a subtle, comforting attentiveness that caters to travelers' needs – a true haven for those who understand what makes a great trip.

JjenniferfangThis trip was a family outing. I brought my in-laws to Suzhou to celebrate their birthday a bit early, so I specifically looked for a historic building with a Suzhou garden style. I booked three rooms and contacted the hotel to arrange two ground-floor rooms with courtyards. The hotel even thoughtfully prepared a birthday cake for my mother and offered turn-down service with a light soup in the evening. The restaurant was also good. We initially considered dining there on the first night but weren't sure about the dishes. After breakfast the next day, we decisively had lunch at the restaurant, and both elders thoroughly enjoyed it! The hotel's arrangements for coming and going were also very well-managed. This trip's food and accommodation were both excellent. A truly great hotel!

GGuest UserWe booked a private family room, and the housekeeper, Ms. Zhou, checked us in and took us to the guest room. The room has a large bed and a small bed. The bathing pool is in the yard. If you need to soak in the hot spring, just tell Ms. Zhou and she will happily come over and help fill the hot spring water. She is a very nice person. I really like her. No. I had to go to the public hot springs to soak with others, it was very comfortable. I also went to Nanshan Bamboo Sea. The air was very good. I had a very good accommodation experience this time. I will go there often in the future!
GGuest UserPros:
1. The room was spacious and exactly as depicted in the photos, with seemingly new facilities.
2. Prompt service. After finding mold in the first room, they quickly moved us and provided two fruit platters (for three guests). When we later discovered dirty sheets and a sagging mattress in the second room, they addressed it promptly.
Cons:
1. Poor hygiene. The wainscoting behind the bed in the room was severely moldy, which housekeeping surprisingly missed and still assigned to guests (housekeeping claimed the previous guest hadn't mentioned it). The remote control was covered in dust, the sheets weren't clean, and there were foreign objects on the bed.
2. Inadequate facility maintenance. The hot water temperature was low and water pressure was weak. There was a slight odor seeping from the bathroom exhaust fan, possibly cigarette smoke from another room. The mattress was severely sagging, causing back pain.
3. Significant noise pollution. The air conditioning unit made abnormal noises, with an intermittent 'chirping' sound from the internal fan. There was continuous hammering noise from nearby subway construction.
RRemilyWe were happy with our stay here. The room was nicer than it looked online, and the hotel was really clean. There are playrooms for young children that are free (3 rooms with some different toys in each room). The rooms are a bit old and tired, but my 2 year old enjoyed playing there and requested UK hi back lots of times. For parents it is just great to have somewhere for your kid to play and have fun, especially as the weather was very cold when we went! Outside there is a play area and sand digging pit. Location is walking distance from Tongli old town. Restaurant does evening buffet, and buffet breakfast. The food is fine, more Chinese than western, my husband really liked it and my favourite part was the Beijing roast duck at dinner. The pool is warm, with floats and rubber rings to borrow. There is a little land train, it takes a 10 minute trip around the hotel grounds and the cost is 20RMB for one adult and child. For me it was very boring but my son loved it 😂
The staff are very warm and friendly, everyone is very professional. Each guest is connected to a butler on wechat before they arrive so you can easily send a message and get some help. Our butler is Yu Ting and she helped us very professionally.
For me, the things the hotel can improve are (1) the animal petting zoo - by western standard the facilities for the animals are not very good, just concrete enclosure with hut. For foreigners, we do not really like this. (2) We had a problem with the other guests smoking in the hotel, eg in the coffee bar. When I complained to the staff they tried to stop the guests, but even though they repeatedly reminded them to stop, the other guests continued. In the end they arranged for me to move to a private room near the bar where I could avoid the smoking. I was very grateful that they found a solution for me and my baby, but I am speechless there are such guests who flagrantly break the rules and the hotel cannot stop them. We smelled smoke in some different public areas, so maybe this is a problem with several guests 🙁
Overall we are happy with our stay and it is a good place to spend a few days with kids.
