"Participating in the Fangshan Trail Running Race for the first time, I booked my hotel a bit late, and all the rooms near the starting point were already sold out. Reluctantly, I randomly selected a hotel about half an hour's drive away on Ctrip. I didn't have high expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised upon check-in – the value for money was outstanding!
The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable, with thoughtful touches throughout. The front desk staff, seeing we had a child with us, immediately upgraded us to a family room free of charge. Learning we were there specifically for the race, they kindly extended our check-out time and enthusiastically recommended several local restaurants in the area. I have stayed in more than 15 hotels in China, and this was the first hotel where someone clearly explained which halal food I could eat. This was very important to me and truly appreciated.

"This is a newly opened hotel, and the room was very spacious. They even upgraded us during the May Day holiday, and the service was excellent. We couldn't move the beds ourselves, but a staff member helped us put them together. The breakfast was also delicious! The location is super convenient, right in the city center. The only downside is that since it's a new hotel, there was a slight smell of renovation when we first entered the room."

萬幸陽台外不負所望，少有的大直徑圓形浴缸，熱水穩定，衹是夏天蚊蟲這個建議酒店可以再思考有無更好措施
房間裏面乾濕分離，洗手池是好看的，衹是設計的實用性稍弱容易水濺出來
房間內部的空間面積足夠大，還是設計的小問題，其實設計師可以設計的更有層次一些，這麼大的面積走極簡風多少有點浪費
早餐乾淨有當地的温嶺嵌糕好好吃，如果品種能夠再多一些就更好了

"Facilities: Very complete, has everything you need. The toilet is smart, and the desk is a movable one with wheels. There's also a small mini-bar. The shower pressure is great.
Cleanliness: It's fairly clean, but it seems to be a new hotel, so there's still a formaldehyde smell. I had to keep the window open almost all night. It's okay for an occasional stay.
Environment: Nestled by a mountain and a river, the surroundings are quite nice. There's also a rather large wetland park not far away. It's just a few minutes' walk from the intercity rail station.
Service: Standard breakfast and everything for check-in. However, one afternoon, the staff wanted to deliver fruit. I didn't hear them or answer the door, and the server just opened the door themselves and asked if I wanted fruit from the doorway. That was quite startling. I definitely locked the door from the inside at night."

Environment: The view is invincible, the door leads to the terrace, and you can see the whole sea. It is very suitable for watching sunrise and sunset when the weather is good. There is a winding mountain trail outside the B&B, which is also suitable for taking photos and walking
Sanitation: Very clean, all kinds of disposable facilities are also available
Service: The owner of the B&B is very nice and will communicate the transportation method in advance. Take a taxi to locate the B&B address directly, and it will be sent to the foot of the mountain. The B&B has a shuttle bus to pick up the B&B entrance halfway up the mountain. We originally booked a mountain, and the owner also upgraded it to a large room with floor-to-ceiling windows, and drove us to see the blue tears at night. The dinner at the B&B is also delicious!

GGuest UserMy experience was initially a bit flawed, but the hotel handled it so well that it was a perfect experience!
Since I wanted to buy seafood at the Songmen Aquatic Products Wholesale Market but didn't want to be too close (the air can get quite fishy in the summer), I chose the All Seasons Hotel (a 13-minute drive). It's also very close to the Hanging Temple of Taizhou and has its own parking lot, making it convenient. There's currently road construction in front of the hotel, but it's not impacting guests much.
All Seasons has a good standardization process across all its locations, making it a safe choice, except for two common issues:
1. Soundproofing. Honestly, this one's soundproofing is decent compared to other hotels; I couldn't hear the roadworks, but it couldn't handle the constant thrashing of heavy objects like furniture from the room above after 9 p.m. until 11 p.m. At around 2 a.m., it felt like guests were returning or checking in, and women and children were talking loudly in the hallway, visiting each other, and shouting for quite a while. I woke up and couldn't fall back asleep. 😤
2. The bathroom odor. I want to emphasize: the room I stayed in at this hotel was excellent and odor-free. However, the other Four Seasons and Orange Hotel in Taizhou I stayed at this time also had toilet odor issues.
The next day, when I checked out with swollen eyes, I complained about the guest's behavior—just a complaint, not a complaint. Unexpectedly, the front desk took note and immediately offered to compensate me with a gift. They even applied for a 20% discount on my room rate. I said, ”No need, it's none of your business and beyond the hotel's control.” But the beautiful receptionist was very persistent and sincere, saying she was deeply sorry for not providing a good experience. She immediately helped me apply for it.
Oh my goodness! This experience was instantly amazing! It wasn't because of the small snacks and sachets or the few dozen yuan, but because the hotel proactively took responsibility for the other guest's inappropriate behavior. They expressed genuine concern and apology, rather than just brushing it off. I was deeply touched.
By the way, on check-in day, due to frequent hotel changes, I suddenly forgot my room number while standing in the hallway. A waiter saw me and immediately came over to help me contact the front desk. The service at this restaurant is excellent overall.
Taizhou is truly delicious! This all season hotel is great, I will come again and again!

The environment of Atour is still okay, but there may be many people checking in that day. Suspecting that the hotel did not reserve a room for me in advance, I specially booked a more expensive superior king-size room. However, when I checked in, I found that the room was small, the window was only half full and could not be opened, which was not very satisfactory.

Ffluffy pancakesIt's was such a magical place, peaceful and people there was loving and caring. The place was very clean, the room, common areas and environment in general was beautifully decorated.
The offered different types of foods and snack as well as imported beers and wine. Amazing!
Breakfast was abundant and had a variety of yummy food including the special plate of this area.
I'll be coming back. I'm in love of this place!

The surrounding attractions are very close, only a few minutes' drive away. The breakfast on the second floor is also very rich. Overall, it is still highly recommended. GGuest UserWe just checked out today, and honestly this was one of the best experiences I’ve had in China. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming from the moment we arrived. He even upgraded us to a bigger room with a beautiful terrace, a higher floor, and an amazing view, which made our stay even more special.
What touched us the most was how they treated us like guests, not just customers. They invited us to have dinner together, and we spent the evening eating, chatting, and playing games. It felt very warm and authentic.
They also paid attention to every detail. They asked us what time we usually wake up and when we would like breakfast, and in the morning they brought a delicious breakfast directly to our room.
As a foreigner who has been living in China for two years, this is honestly the first time I have felt so comfortable, welcomed, and connected with local people during a stay. It was a wonderful experience that we will remember for a long time.
Thank you for your kindness and hospitality. We will definitely come back again and highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a warm, genuine, and memorable experience.

Hygienic: clean, no toothbrushes and slippers in the room. We took the initiative to run to find a hygienic waiter for the first time to ask for a toothbrush, and found that there was no slippers in the room. I asked for slippers for the second time.
