"Found a gem for our family trip to Xiamen! The Weishang Garden Hotel's family room is simply divine. It's in a prime location on Zhongshan Road, with a charming Nanyang retro vibe. Stepping out, you're surrounded by street food and shopping districts. It's super close to the ferry terminal and the Bashi market, saving us a lot of travel time. The room is incredibly spacious, bursting with a playful, child-friendly atmosphere. My kids instantly fell in love with the bunk bed with a slide, and the safety rails gave us parents peace of mind. There were dolls, building blocks, and a small tent – enough to keep the little ones entertained for half the day, meaning we didn't have to keep an eye on them constantly. The room also features a private little balcony, and the faint scent of tea in the corridor made us feel instantly relaxed upon entering. The entire room is equipped with smart devices, and the toiletries were clean and high-quality. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and the floor is covered with soft mats, so we didn't have to worry about the kids bumping themselves while running barefoot. "Our stay was incredibly heartwarming. The front desk staff was fantastic; they proactively upgraded us to a room with a swing on the balcony, which absolutely delighted the kids. The hotel's location is super convenient – we could walk to Zhonghua City and Zhongshan Road, and it was only about a ten-minute ride to the Gulangyu Island ferry terminal. The housekeeping staff kept the room spotless and tidy, making our stay very comfortable and reassuring. Staying here, we really felt well taken care of. "First off, the hotel's location is fantastic. It's right next to Zhongshan Road and within walking distance to Bashi Market, making it super lively at night with tons of food options. Secondly, getting around is a breeze. There's a bus stop right outside, making public transport very convenient. Plus, there's a ferry terminal directly across the street. If you're coming back from Gulangyu, you can take a bus from Sanqiuming Pier to this ferry terminal, cross the road, and you're pretty much at the hotel – no need for a taxi or another bus! Finally, the security is top-notch. You need to swipe your card twice to enter: once to take the elevator to your floor to find your room, and then again to get into your room. This is the first hotel I've stayed at with this kind of system, and it really made me feel safe and secure!"

Our vacation ended, but we managed to travel during the off-peak season with our child. My little one absolutely loved it! The hotel is very kid-friendly. There's a dedicated children's heated splash pool that's shallow and even has a small slide. Right next to it, there's a jungle play net, and my child had so much fun they didn't want to leave. Our room was spacious and clean, and the balcony even had a large soaking tub. We'll definitely be back if we have the chance!

Traveling to Wuyishan during the off-season was wonderful; the autumn scenery was absolutely stunning with everything golden-hued. I specifically chose a guesthouse to better appreciate Wuyishan's natural beauty. Shuizhuang No. 8 Guesthouse is truly nestled within a park, offering distant mountain views and a close-up look at the river while you sip tea and admire the ginkgo trees right outside your door. Not only is the scenery beautiful, but the surroundings are also quiet and comfortable. It's conveniently located with great transport links, and both the dining and accommodation are excellent. The service is warm and courteous, and the staff are very prompt in providing assistance. I'd highly recommend staying here over a hotel!

Whether you're shopping, dining, commuting, or sightseeing, there's no need to go out of your way – it's ideal for both tourists and business travelers. Secondly, the service from both the front desk and housekeeping made me feel truly welcome. Check-in was incredibly efficient, and the staff were gentle and polite. They patiently answered all my questions and thoughtfully arranged a room that perfectly met my needs. The room itself was spacious and bright, spotlessly clean, with soft and comfortable bedding. The soundproofing was also excellent, allowing me to sleep soundly until morning. I was especially touched when a staff member noticed I had hung wet clothes in the bathroom and thoughtfully brought me a drying rack to help spread them out – truly attentive service. What surprised me most was the hotel's takeaway food stall! It's a one-stop shop for various authentic Xiamen specialty snacks. I stayed at this hotel during my trip to Xiamen and I have to give a shout-out to Vicky at the front desk! The check-in process was very quick, and the staff patiently answered all my questions about getting around. Their service was attentive and thoughtful. The hotel's cleanliness was well-maintained, and its location made getting around very convenient. The overall atmosphere was comfortable, and I felt very secure during my stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling here.

I took a last-minute trip to Xiamen during the May 1st holiday, and hotel prices everywhere had skyrocketed. This place, however, remained unchanged. I initially thought it might be an older hotel, but the reviews were all positive, so I booked two nights. The location is truly excellent – right next to a subway station and across from a mall, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the room. While not brand new, it was well-maintained. Being a hotel apartment, it came with a large refrigerator and a combo washer-dryer, which is perfect for trips lasting anywhere from 3 days to a week. The machine wasn't noisy either. The subway downstairs made getting anywhere very easy. The room came with two bottles of water daily, which wasn't quite enough, but when I mentioned it to the front desk, they immediately gave me six more. Overall, my stay was very comfortable. The only minor thing I found a bit unusual was the breakfast – it was very vegetarian-focused, with no meat. It wasn't bad, just a bit different from what I'm used to.

We received a warm welcome from the staff. Check in was straightforward and prompt. The lobby area was spacious and pleasantly furnished. The staff gave us a room upgrade and we had a spacious and well appointed room that made us feel very at home. When we arrived, it was close to lunch time and the staff checked in on us on meal requests, we took the lunch and it was a good spread of local specialties. Breakfast was freshly made and gave us a good impression of how a well prepared local breakfast would be like, also the meal was well balanced with dairy, vegetables etc. The room package also included a afternoon tea in the garden with a water feature, a tea bath and a evening Chinese tea appreciation session where we chatted with the staff. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Our stay at the Wyndham Xiamen was truly amazing, with the unparalleled, front-row sea view being the absolute highlight. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows in the room offered an unobstructed, endless vista of the azure sea, with the majestic Xiang'an Bridge stretching calmly across the water – the view was clear and expansive. Waiting for the sunrise over the sea in the morning and encountering the orange sunset in the evening, both dawn and dusk provided incredibly therapeutic scenery with a fantastic ambiance; every photo taken looked like a professional seascape shot. The complimentary breakfast was truly impressive, with a rich and diverse selection. Authentic Fujianese snacks like Shacha noodles and vermicelli paste were flavorful and delicious, while Western hot dishes, exquisite desserts, and seasonal fresh fruits were all available, catering to a variety of tastes. The service was gentle, attentive, and highly efficient. Any questions or requests before and during our stay were promptly and properly addressed, with staff being humble and polite. The meticulous service significantly enhanced our sense of happiness during the stay. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bedding was soft and comfortable against the skin. The hotel as a whole was quiet and elegant, making for an exceptionally relaxing and comfortable vacation. With its superb sea views and thoughtful, spot-on service, this will definitely be our top choice for our next visit to Xiamen!
