Staying on Xiamen Island is definitely more convenient for visiting various attractions, but after some consideration, I still chose the Hualuxe Haicang. The hotel boasts a grand and magnificent standard five-star decor, and the sea-view rooms offer fantastic views of Siming Island and Gulangyu Island, which is absolutely stunning. The hotel breakfast is excellent, especially the Shacha noodles – they're delicious! The swimming pool is also fantastic, particularly the hot spring pool for children. The concierge service is very good; they helped me with many express deliveries and food takeaways. Our butler, Zoey, was also incredibly thoughtful; since we arrived early, she tried her best to arrange an early check-in for us. The only minor drawback is that, like many high-end hotels, it's a bit isolated, with no quaint alleyways nearby to explore. However, for those with kids, after a day of swimming, the little ones are usually too tired to do anything else, so the pool is more than enough entertainment – my child was very happy!

Let me write a serious review about this accommodation experience. I landed at 1 AM, and there was still a staff member there for the late-night airport pickup. Communication was very smooth. Thumbs up. It was already late when I checked in. A second staff member helped me with the check-in process and then assisted with carrying my luggage. This saved a lot of time and effort. Thumbs up. The next day, I wanted to extend my stay, but it seemed all the rooms were booked. I bothered the second staff member again to help coordinate, and eventually, I didn't have to switch rooms and could continue staying in my original room. Thumbs up. It happened to be graduation season for university students, so there were many young people staying who were up late at night. As a middle-aged person who has trouble sleeping, I once again bothered the front desk staff. Their response was very quick, and after a while, the surroundings became much quieter. I felt really bad about bothering the staff; as the saying goes, 'customers' requests keep the staff on their toes,' but their attitude was genuinely excellent. The apartment was also clean, and the disposable amenities made me feel more at ease. Thumbs up. Finally, the staff member asked if I needed an airport drop-off. From start to finish, the service was complete and thorough. Thumbs up. The beach opposite the apartment was less crowded, had a great atmosphere, and was perfect for photos.

This location is absolutely incredible! You're right at Shapowei, and you can easily cycle down to Baishatan (White Sand Beach) and Music Plaza – it's all super convenient. The place is very clean, and for this price and location, with such an amazing sea view, it's an absolute steal. Truly perfect! I genuinely recommend it to everyone. I'll definitely stay here again next time. It's fantastic!

Boasting a prime Gulangyu Island sea view, the hotel offers expansive vistas perfect for photos. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, ideal for a family stay, with excellent hygiene and service. It's within walking distance of major attractions, making it easy for families with young children or elderly relatives. The breakfast is abundant, and the pool and kids' area are a great bonus, creating a perfect family vacation atmosphere. A fantastic experience overall!

The location is very advantageous, close to Zhongshan Road in Xiamen. There are also many restaurants around. It's very close to any scenic spot, and across from it is Gulangyu Island. There is a viewing terrace on the fourth floor for you to take a look. I am very satisfied with every part of the hotel, except for the bed sheets. I stayed for four consecutive days without changing them

The hallway decor had a lovely retro charm, which was visually appealing. My room faced Gulangyu Island directly, offering a superb view. The automated sensor system in the room was a thoughtful touch; simply opening the curtains revealed the beautiful scenery, enhancing the experience. The room was also consistently clean and fragrant, which was delightful. The only downside was some oversights in the housekeeping. There were stains on the carpet, a cigarette butt was found near the sofa, and the lid of the exquisite teapot still had tea stains from the previous guest. These minor flaws dampened the overall enjoyment of my trip. I hope the hotel can pay more attention to cleaning details and further improve their hygiene services. The location is absolutely unbeatable. It's directly opposite Gulangyu Island and the ferry terminal (be aware that there are time restrictions for tourist boarding). To the left is Zhongshan Road, and to the right is the Eight Cities (a bit of a walk).

The location is great, very close to Shapowei with many local snacks. The accommodation space is sufficient, able to host 10 people, and the overall arrangement is convenient. However, during peak showering times, the hot water supply was insufficient, requiring us to take turns. The room's cleanliness was average, with room for improvement.

Stepping into the room, I was immediately blown away by the breathtaking 270-degree city view! 🌆 Three massive floor-to-ceiling windows wrap around the entire room. By day, you can gaze at Xiamen's cityscape under the blue sky and white clouds, and by night, the dazzling city lights are absolutely stunning 😭. The room amenities are incredibly thoughtful too! My favorite is the bathtub with a city view 🛁 – taking a bath while watching TV is just pure bliss! There's also a separate study perfect for a quick work session 🖥️, and a fridge always stocked with chilled drinks, which is so convenient 🧊. The location is absolutely superb 📍. It's just a 5-minute walk to Zhongshan Road, making it super easy to explore all of Xiamen's authentic local delicacies. Plus, there's free parking 🅿️ and a butler-style service; all the staff are so warm and friendly ☀️. Every day of my vacation here, I was healed by the beautiful scenery. You can even watch the sunrise and sunset right from your bed 🌅.
