We stayed here for six nights with our elderly parents and young children, and we were extremely satisfied. The room was incredibly spacious and bright, easily a third larger than most hotel rooms. Although not on the island itself, the location is absolutely perfect. The sea view from the window is stunning, and right outside is a beach park where you can go clam digging, collect shells, and catch crabs – a true paradise for kids. It's also right next to Haicang Bridge, making a taxi ride to the island just about ten minutes, which is very convenient. The staff were all very professional, enthusiastic, friendly, and incredibly patient. They even lent our kids some sand toys. The breakfast was luxurious, varied, and delicious, and we even got free breakfast for staying multiple nights, making it fantastic value for money. The hotel also boasts a very well-equipped gym and an indoor swimming pool, as well as a warm spa pool, ensuring everyone has a happy and fulfilling stay even when just relaxing at the hotel. Overall, I highly recommend it. We'd love to stay here again next time we visit Xiamen!

Let me write a serious review about this accommodation experience. I landed at 1 AM, and there was still a staff member there for the late-night airport pickup. Communication was very smooth. Thumbs up. It was already late when I checked in. A second staff member helped me with the check-in process and then assisted with carrying my luggage. This saved a lot of time and effort. Thumbs up. The next day, I wanted to extend my stay, but it seemed all the rooms were booked. I bothered the second staff member again to help coordinate, and eventually, I didn't have to switch rooms and could continue staying in my original room. Thumbs up. It happened to be graduation season for university students, so there were many young people staying who were up late at night. As a middle-aged person who has trouble sleeping, I once again bothered the front desk staff. Their response was very quick, and after a while, the surroundings became much quieter. I felt really bad about bothering the staff; as the saying goes, 'customers' requests keep the staff on their toes,' but their attitude was genuinely excellent. The apartment was also clean, and the disposable amenities made me feel more at ease. Thumbs up. Finally, the staff member asked if I needed an airport drop-off. From start to finish, the service was complete and thorough. Thumbs up. The beach opposite the apartment was less crowded, had a great atmosphere, and was perfect for photos.

This location is absolutely incredible! You're right at Shapowei, and you can easily cycle down to Baishatan (White Sand Beach) and Music Plaza – it's all super convenient. The place is very clean, and for this price and location, with such an amazing sea view, it's an absolute steal. Truly perfect! I genuinely recommend it to everyone. I'll definitely stay here again next time. It's fantastic!

The hotel's location is excellent and offers fantastic value for money. Our room's balcony faced Gulangyu Island, and enjoying a drink there in the evening while admiring the beautiful scenery was incredibly relaxing. Downstairs, there's a bus terminal, making it super convenient to get to all the attractions. It's also just a few minutes' walk from Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street.

Choosing the Xiamen Lujiang Hotel for my stay was the best decision ever! Its location is fantastic, directly facing Gulangyu Island. It's within walking distance to the ferry terminal, Zhongshan Road, and the lively Eight Markets, and close to Zhenhai Road Metro Station, making getting around incredibly convenient. The sea view room offered stunning sunset views over Gulangyu, an absolutely amazing experience! The facilities are comprehensive, including a heated swimming pool and a gym. Dining is easy, and the breakfast spread is extensive, with child-friendly amenities and services. The service was professional. Check-in at the front desk was smooth, and housekeeping was prompt and thorough. They were especially accommodating to families, providing children's amenities. We also received a fruit platter and extra bottled water upon request. The room supervisor, Geng Hongyan, even folded a cute little dolphin out of a towel for my child, who was absolutely thrilled to find it in the room! These thoughtful touches added so much joy to our trip!

The location is absolutely fantastic! It's just a three-minute walk to the subway station, and a taxi ride to the main attractions only takes about ten minutes. The cleanliness is impeccable; the sheets and duvet covers are changed for every new guest, and the bathroom has no odor whatsoever. Even though it's a budget hotel, the service is top-notch. The front desk staff are always helpful, answering all my questions and even recommending local snacks and delicacies. For a business trip or a short getaway, this place is definitely the right choice!

The hallway decor had a lovely retro charm, which was visually appealing. My room faced Gulangyu Island directly, offering a superb view. The automated sensor system in the room was a thoughtful touch; simply opening the curtains revealed the beautiful scenery, enhancing the experience. The room was also consistently clean and fragrant, which was delightful. The only downside was some oversights in the housekeeping. There were stains on the carpet, a cigarette butt was found near the sofa, and the lid of the exquisite teapot still had tea stains from the previous guest. These minor flaws dampened the overall enjoyment of my trip. I hope the hotel can pay more attention to cleaning details and further improve their hygiene services. The location is absolutely unbeatable. It's directly opposite Gulangyu Island and the ferry terminal (be aware that there are time restrictions for tourist boarding). To the left is Zhongshan Road, and to the right is the Eight Cities (a bit of a walk).

Came here with my parents, and the two-bedroom apartment was just perfect. The environment was clean and comfortable, and it was convenient to get around.

Excellent transit stay near Fuzhou Changle Airport! The apartment is spacious, clean, and offers a lovely sea view. The owner provides free airport pickup/drop-off and was very friendly – he even dropped us at Wanshou subway when available (ask in advance). Located just a 5-minute walk from a beach, with a few small restaurants and a mini-mart nearby, perfect for breakfast. Highly convenient for an overnight airport stop.”

I initially booked for two nights, but extended my stay for an extra day due to the great value for money. The service staff are warm and patient, and all reasonable requests are met. I felt the hotel's service was very professional, making for a worry-free stay. I had read reviews mentioning outdated facilities, but I believe this hotel has a history, stories, and a warm atmosphere. I would definitely stay here again if I visit Xiamen in the future. The convenient transportation and professional service really enhanced the comfort and enjoyment of my trip.
