"The first thing that caught my eye when I entered the room was the incredible view from the floor-to-ceiling windows. You can see the iconic Raffles City right across, and the scenery is truly calming. Chongqing is a city with lots of hills and slopes, so it can be quite tiring to walk around. That's where the large bathtub in the room came in handy – a hot soak was incredibly relaxing. The hotel was very clean, and all the disposable amenities were well-stocked. The service was also excellent. Overall, it's pretty good value for money, and I'd definitely choose to stay here again next time."

"I was looking for a hotel near the Olympic Sports Center for Nicholas Tse's concert during the十一 (National Day) holiday, and it was quite challenging to find one with family rooms. I was very lucky to get this one as a last-minute booking.
The hotel service was excellent. They upgraded us to a room with breakfast, and one night, my family member got sick and threw up in the toilet, and they came to clean it up promptly.
I highly recommend this hotel for concerts. You just go downstairs and cross the road to get to the venue. We could even hear soundchecks from our room!
Dining downstairs was incredibly convenient with many options. There was a great BBQ restaurant that we ended up eating at twice."

Just like the vibrant red dress she was wearing, she made me feel very warm and welcome! The entire front desk team was amiable and outstanding. The hotel's standard short-course pool is very clean, and the water temperature is perfect; it's the best I've experienced in any Chongqing hotel. However, the issue of aging facilities still needs to be addressed by the owner through renovations and upgrades. It would truly do justice to the hotel's excellent management team. I believe that after the renovations and upgrades, the Kempinski will only get better and better."

"I stayed at the Hilton in Chongqing for three nights and was satisfied with everything. It's very close to the subway station (Lianglukou) and Didi (ride-hailing) is also super convenient. There are plenty of food options nearby, including a Luckin Coffee right outside.
The staff were amazing! Housekeeping Auntie Chen (I hope I got the name right) was incredibly thoughtful; she brought amenities for my child and even provided a bathtub liner and bath salts. Vickie and Jason at the front desk provided excellent service and even complimentary breakfast for one day. The concierge staff proactively helped me with my luggage both at check-in and check-out. It truly felt like a home away from home, especially for a mom traveling alone with a child!
I recommend bringing a swimsuit. We forgot ours, otherwise, I definitely would have relaxed in the heated pool. I really enjoy swimming in winter."

"The room was great – clean, tidy, comfortable, and quiet, with a lovely view of the Jialing River and the bridge. Breakfast was good, and while the evening light meal at the executive lounge was simple, it perfectly met our needs. All the hotel staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. DDer1ckboMy stay at the Regent Chongqing was an experience where I felt genuinely cared for even before check-in, and it truly showed me what top-tier hotel service is all about.
Two days before my arrival, the hotel butler proactively called me to politely inquire about my check-in time, room preferences, and any special requests. Their tone wasn't a perfunctory confirmation, but a sincere conversation, making it clear they were preparing for my arrival in advance, rather than just reacting once I got there. This level of foresight is quite rare in hotels these days.
On the day of my arrival, the check-in process was seamless and incredibly smooth, with virtually no waiting. Everything was perfectly arranged. There were no unnecessary pleasantries or lengthy procedures, allowing me to immediately slip into a state of relaxation. My room was on a high floor, offering expansive views and a very quiet environment. The overall ambiance was warm yet understated, giving me the feeling of 'returning to a meticulously cared-for space.'
The room details truly deserve appreciation. The cleanliness, layout, lighting, and bedding were all impeccable. What impressed me most was the butler closet service – it was convenient and, more importantly, greatly protected guest privacy. This design inherently reflects the hotel's respect for the guest experience, rather than just pursuing superficial 'attentiveness.'
Throughout my stay, almost every staff member I encountered greeted me with a genuine, unforced smile. Whether it was housekeeping, front desk, or staff in public areas, their response time was incredibly quick, and their demeanor was consistently gentle and patient. They truly embodied the idea of 'making you feel bad for bothering them, but they've already thought of your next need the moment you speak.' This kind of service isn't just superficial warmth; it's a well-trained, professional approach delivered with genuine care.
The breakfast also completely exceeded expectations. The variety was extensive, with plenty of both Chinese and Western options. The ingredients were fresh, and the quality was consistently high – not just a large spread that's casually put together. The overall design of the public areas was also beautiful, with a strong sense of space and exquisite details. Whether for taking photos or simply strolling around, it put me in a great mood.
The gym and swimming pool were also major plusses. The equipment was comprehensive, the environment was clean, and the user experience was very comfortable. I especially want to commend the pool staff; the moment I got out of the water after swimming, they thoughtfully offered me a towel. These small details, where you don't even need to ask, really stick with you.
The hotel's location is also excellent, making both travel and last-minute itinerary changes very convenient. It's close to most places, saving a lot of effort and worry.
Overall, this is a hotel that is mature, stable, and reassuring in its service philosophy and execution. It doesn't rely on extravagance to win you over, but rather excels because every aspect is solid and well-proportioned. For me, it's more than just 'a comfortable stay'; it's a true experience of being respected and cared for. Highly recommended, and I will definitely be back.

TTaiyangwenquandanThe room was fantastic, with a strong Chinese aesthetic. Most of the furniture and facilities were made of wood, which was very comfortable. There was even a mahjong table, though we couldn't gather enough people to play, haha! The bed was very comfortable. Upon check-in, we also received a complimentary enhanced hot spring experience. We chose lavender, and to our surprise, it was freshly brewed, which was a lovely surprise. After checking out, I left my power bank in the room, and it wasn't convenient to arrange a courier. Our butler, Xiaoya, brought it to us the next morning, for which I'm extremely grateful.
Both the check-in and check-out services were excellent. When we left, we didn't even need to go to the front desk to check out, but the butler still chased us out from the front desk to say goodbye, ask about our stay, and see us off.
Although breakfast for two was included when we booked the room, we didn't wake up in time. I'll definitely try it next time I visit!

She was incredibly helpful, following up with updates and went the extra mile to get a much appreciated room upgrade. She even followed up after checkout to ensure that everything went well with my stay. One of the best thar I have encountered.
The hotel itself was great too. Spacious room, great cleanliness and plenty of amenities. Located right across the road from a major shopping center that is connected to the subway. There was a little bit of construction noise from a neighbouring site, but nothing much that the hotel could do about it. All in all, a great stay there.

She helped ensure my luggage was delivered promptly upon check-in and proactively asked about my stay experience after check-out, even assisting with the invoice. The hotel environment is as stunning as ever, with expansive views. The facilities and amenities are also very modern now; the hairdryer is better than before, and the TV now supports screen mirroring, which is fantastic!

GGuest UserLocation: This hotel is in a prime spot in the Nan'an district, not far from the Nanbin Road commercial area or the riverfront, making it super convenient for getting around and sightseeing, whether you're taking a taxi or the subway.
Facilities: I really have to highlight the hotel's facilities! From the decor style to the room layout, everything feels very upscale. The bar area particularly caught my eye – a stunning matcha green coffee machine, coffee cups, and even an ice bucket. It was all so refined and high-end that I couldn't help but ask the front desk if I could buy the mugs. Luckily, they were for sale, so I promptly bought two!
Service: At the hotel entrance, staff members were on hand to open car doors and help with luggage. The front desk staff were also incredibly warm and attentive. Check-in was very efficient, and they clearly explained where to find dining, the gym, the pool, and other amenities, showing great attention to detail and professionalism.

Pavilions and terraces are scattered tastefully amidst lush trees, creating a picturesque scene of mountains and water. The private hot spring in the room is clean and hygienic, and Owen provided very attentive service. My stay was excellent. I'll definitely come back again! The private hot spring in the room truly exceeded my expectations; the water was refreshed daily, making it very clean and private. The only area for improvement would be to address the traffic congestion for vehicles entering and exiting during peak hours.

Really good value for money. I have to give a big compliment to the front desk — they were super kind and helpful. I was traveling with my family and chose this hotel because it has hot springs. We stayed before at the nearby Shangquan Hot Spring Hotel, but this time decided to try the International Hotel.
One of my family members got injured, and we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a suite when we checked in. The suite was spacious and comfortable. The staff also helped arrange our other room close to the suite, which made it easier for us to stay connected.
The twin room we booked at first had a bit of a smell, but the hotel quickly helped us change to another one next to the suite the next day. There’s a connecting door between the two rooms, which was really convenient.
Thank you so much for the upgrade and thoughtful service! The package came with hot spring tickets — the experience was great, especially the outdoor hot springs, which were much better than the indoor ones.

GGuest UserOverall a great place. Beautiful rooms of the highest quality in every regard. The best features are the hot spring pools in the rooms of course. The showers are also great( two in every shower room) Great quality TV with great sound. Good selection of movies( not the latest releases) but all free. Food at the hotell restaurants had good standard. The best we have experienced in China. But for double the price we would pay for the same quality Chinese food in Norway. Surprisingly!
But keep clear of the pizza. It is actually just a frozen pizza type. Very small. We didn’t order any more western dishes after that, except for the Cesar’s salad. Which was good.
The place is old now and a bit worn. But it’s still is very very beautiful and high quality.
Where this hotell really shines is the services of the staff. Even if they don’t speak English and we don’t speak Chinese they are very patient.
To a Norwegian it is almost too much. They carry your bags even when thy are too heavie and many for one person.
They drive you you to and from your room if you have a villa.
We got an upgrade from ordinary room with hot spring pool and double bed to a villa! Because we found 6 small worms in the shower room.
I think this is pretty hard to avoid in such a sub tropical and humid environment.
But we reported it to the staff and they immediately gave us an upgrade with a complementary big fruit basket. We were blown away by this huge upgrade.
Only thing that was a bit negative and unexpected is the extra deposit fee which is quite high.
I think this should have been more clearly informed in the hotell booking and hotell online page.
We were a bit low on funds as Banyan tree was our last hotell stay in China before leaving and we were on a planned but tight budget.
We solved it of course with our Mastercard but it caused a bit stress for us.
And a second thing is that using Alipay instead of WeChat is more difficult at the hotell. ( not impossible)But without Chinese phone number you can’t use WeChat.

MM340369****I was prepared for the hotel to be a bit old, but it exceeded my expectations! The front desk upgraded my room during check-in. I'm quite sensitive to smells, but the room was well-purified, and it was also very quiet. Much better than the Sheraton (also a Marriott property) I booked next door last year, and the room was still well-maintained and felt quite new. I was here for a concert, and the location was pretty convenient. To top it all off, I was pleasantly surprised to find I was staying at the same hotel as the artist – that definitely boosted my impression of the place!
