BBoboboYFacilities: The hotel facilities are excellent, and the rooms are well-equipped, primarily focusing on hot springs. The water quality is very good, and you can adjust the hot spring temperature yourself. You can soak 24 hours a day, and privacy is also good. After soaking, you can also enjoy a massage or spa.
Hygiene: Everything was very clean. The villa renovation was well done.
Environment: The overall hotel environment is great, with duplex rooms. The surrounding area has complete amenities and is a small commercial district, so delivery services are very convenient. The only slight drawback is the soundproofing; you can hear people moving up and down the stairs next door.
Service: The service is excellent; they are very responsive and always help guests with any issues. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

My friends and I had a quick get-together in Chongqing over the weekend and chose the Shannan Yu River View Resort Villa. It was a complete surprise, easily a five-star, perfect score experience!
As soon as we walked in, we were stunned by the private courtyard. The expansive river view combined with the elegant garden created an incredible ambiance. We booked a four-bedroom villa, and the space was super spacious. The underfloor heating throughout the house was so thoughtful in winter; it was warm and cozy, not cold at all. Amenities like the pool table, Marshall speaker, and deep soaking tub doubled the fun for our friends' gathering. We just didn't want to leave!
The location is also fantastic, right on Changjiang Riverside Road in Yuzhong District. It's only a few minutes' walk to Xiaoshizi subway station, making it super convenient to get to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong. At night, you can even enjoy the river and city night views from the terrace – so therapeutic.
We planned our own itinerary, which gave us a lot of freedom, and the cleanliness was exceptionally well-done. Both the rooms and common areas were spotless, with attention to every detail.
Overall, the experience was top-notch. It's perfect for friends' gatherings or family trips. I'll definitely come back next time I visit Chongqing.

GGuest UserThe room was really nice, with a huge bed. The private hot spring filled up quickly with thermal water. Xiao Zhang at the front desk was very welcoming and check-in was smooth, with great service. After a late-night soak, I called for room service at midnight and the bathrobes were delivered promptly. The lamb hot pot in the set meal had a generous amount of lamb and offal. The breakfast buffet was much more abundant than standard, and the pea and ground pork noodles were especially delicious. Nanquan hot spring is right across from the hotel, so the location is excellent.

Checked in on a rainy day, and the hotel's overall architectural style, ancient and elegant, exceeded what I'd imagined. The hotel is nestled on a walkway along the Jialing River, offering views of the Zhang Fei Trail on the cliffs across the bank. The Jialing River flows gently amidst lush greenery, a stark contrast to the terrain of the Jiangnan hills, showcasing a resilient and rich landscape. If you want to experience the geomorphology and vegetation of the Sichuan-Chongqing region, this place is truly unique.
Now, about the hotel's service. We had a dedicated butler who was responsive and attentive. The staff at the Chinese restaurant, in particular, were exceptional, making us feel right at home and relaxed. You can enjoy the hot springs directly in your room, listening to the rain patter on the banana leaves. Even in winter, there's no need to fly to Kyoto to experience quality hot springs. The short video perfectly captured the vibrant energy of the people from Sichuan and Chongqing.

It's nestled amidst beautiful mountains and clear waters, offering a refreshing atmosphere, and is very close to the West Slope of Jinfo Mountain. Right in front of the hotel, there's a clear stream perfect for kids to splash around in. It's also conveniently close to Tianxing Hot Springs, and hotel guests receive a discount on entry. The breakfast offers a good variety, and the Zha Jiang Mian noodles are especially delicious. Plus, there are plenty of convenient dining options nearby.

YYushiIn the forest park, 30 minutes drive from the city center, the surrounding environment is quite beautiful, and it is quiet to sleep at night. The hotel facilities and services are good, and it is worth staying. You can hike to the Gorge Viewing Platform, go down to the canyon and then come up for about two hours.

The hot spring bath worked great, much better than the one at Banyan Tree next door. The breakfast was decent, and our butler was very attentive. My family really enjoyed their stay, and we would definitely consider coming back.

You need to contact the front desk for disposable slippers. Breakfast was average, with some Chongqing specialties, and not crowded. Hot spring tickets were purchased separately. (The hotel's superior twin room included two hot spring tickets, but breakfast was not included; the price was cheaper than on the platform.)

You can also bring your own private hot spring ♨️ The room also has your own wet steam room and sweat steam room! The convenience is that you can take the elevator directly from the hotel to the hot spring water world. In addition to the hot spring in the room, you can also soak in many hot springs outdoors unlimited times! The waiter sent the breakfast directly to the room, there were few people and beautiful scenery. While soaking in the hot springs, while enjoying the lake and mountains, enjoying the tranquil beauty like a paradise!
