The room was fantastic and I had a very comfortable stay. I want to give a special shout-out to the front desk staff, especially Evelyn and Olivia, whose service was absolutely outstanding – the best I've ever encountered. Their overall service was highly professional. I'll definitely be back next time. Highly recommended!

Travelers with carry-on luggage can use the escalator from Exit C2 of Renhe Station to the exit, then take a Didi straight to the hotel. The reception staff were attentive, friendly, enthusiastic, and highly professional. The lobby and rooms were spacious, clean, and bright. Inside the room, there was a small sofa and coffee table, a mini-fridge, and a desk. To the right outside the hotel, there are various dining establishments, making it convenient for guests to find food. Upon check-out, the hotel even gave a small gift. The hotel offers a free airport shuttle service, making it an excellent choice for travelers catching early morning flights.

I had a wonderful stay at Mercure Guangzhou and would like to express my sincere appreciation to the entire team. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, creating a pleasant and relaxing environment throughout my visit.
The staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and attentive, always willing to assist with a warm smile. I would especially like to commend the Front Office Manager, who was incredibly attentive, approachable, and genuinely caring throughout my stay. Their warm hospitality, attention to detail, and willingness to go the extra mile made me feel truly welcomed and valued as a guest.
I was also impressed by the hotel's convenient location, quality facilities, and excellent breakfast selection. Every aspect of my stay exceeded my expectations.

My stay at Xinuo Light Hotel was absolutely fantastic! The overall decor is simple and clean, and the room had excellent natural light. The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the toiletries were high-quality. The hot water supply was stable, no sudden temperature changes. The front desk staff were gentle and attentive, check-in and check-out were very efficient, and they responded quickly to any requests.
The public areas were tidy and quiet, and the location was convenient for getting around, with plenty of dining and shopping nearby. It offers incredible value for money, making it my top choice for business trips or short stays. I'll definitely be staying here again next time!

The White Swan Hotel was definitely a highlight of our Guangdong trip. I specifically booked a city-view room with a breakfast and dinner package on Trip.com, and the front desk staff was so kind. She proactively upgraded us to a river-view room for free! The overall experience was very comfortable, from the dinner at Yu Tang Chun Nuan to the breakfast buffet by the river. The turndown service was also a nice touch. The only minor inconvenience was that we booked a wake-up call, but we didn't receive a call or knock the next morning. However, after I reported it to the front desk, they were very accommodating. Overall, this is a hotel I would definitely choose again for a vacation in Guangzhou.

The location is super convenient, really close to Paifang Street, and it's easy to hail a taxi right in front of the hotel. But the best part, by far, was the unbeatable service! They even helped us cut fruit, offered complimentary sweet soup in the afternoon, and had laundry service. Absolutely worth it!

Real sea view room, the environment is very good, the air convection wind is very cool when the upper floor is opened, the balcony is still facing the sea, the hardware facilities of the room are not very new, the front desk staff service is very good, we rented the anniversary necklace to forget on the bathroom sink, I found out when I got home. I contacted the front desk and they helped me find it. They also helped me send it over. It was great! This trip to Hailing Island is very happy.

I wanted to visit Dinghu Mountain, but since there aren't many good hotels there, I chose this internationally renowned hotel instead. What a disappointment!
The lobby is vast and boundless, with no one to guide you and nowhere comfortable to sit. It basically functions as a giant billboard for them. It feels so cold and impersonal, hardly what you'd expect from five-star hospitality.
The corridors are open-air, a bit like a courtyard, but walking through them in 35-degree heat is incredibly uncomfortable. And I can't imagine what happens here during a typhoon, given its location. Are guests expected to brave the wind and rain, lugging their bags into their rooms?
The dinner was passable, but just mediocre, definitely not reflecting a five-star standard. Breakfast, however, was a huge letdown. The fruit selection was limited to tangerines, dragon fruit, guavas, and pineapples. Zhaoqing is known in Guangdong for its unique and abundant local produce. Are their famous steamed glutinous rice dumplings (guo zheng zong) too embarrassing to serve? Or are they too stingy to offer longans and lychechee? Maybe they don't want to offer local specialties, but they can't even fry a decent Chinese donut (youtiao) – it was a doughy, lifeless mess, truly shameful. To call this a five-star hotel, it's just an upgraded government guesthouse canteen level, and a very perfunctory one at that.
I genuinely tried to enjoy my stay and even ate two meals at the hotel, but I wasn't satisfied at all. I noticed the lobby was advertising a neighboring restaurant, as if to imply that this five-star hotel's food isn't great, and if you want good quality, you'll have to spend more money elsewhere.
It seems strange for an entire five-star hotel to endorse another restaurant like that. On my way out, I saw many official cars coming and going. It appears this hotel isn't really catering to independent travelers like us. Aren't government expenses like this supposed to be restricted now?

This is my second time staying at Kande Hotel. I typically stay for about 14 days each trip, so I have had plenty of time to really settle in and appreciate the experience.
The location is incredibly convenient, right in the heart of Dongguan and close to everything you might need. What surprised me, though, is how quiet the rooms are despite being in the city center. There is no traffic noise or street disturbance, which makes a real difference when you are traveling for work and need to rest.
The staff are excellent. They are friendly and professional, but what stands out is that they actually remember my preferences from my previous stay. Those small touches go a long way when you are there for an extended period. I also appreciate the pillow menu. I personally cannot sleep without a memory foam pillow, so having that option is a real plus.
They also have a robot delivery service for food and parcels. It sounds like a small thing, but it is surprisingly convenient and adds a nice modern touch.
The view from the room is beautiful, and breakfast is another highlight. There is always a good variety, but my go to is the 烧鹅濑粉. It is honestly the best I have ever had.
Looking forward to my next stay.

Very Good
GGuest UserWe would like to share our experience of staying at this hotel for two weeks.
First of all, the location is very convenient — both for getting around on foot or by metro (which is nearby), and for ordering a taxi. The bed is very comfortable, which was very important for us — large, perfectly balanced in terms of softness, overall excellent.
The breakfasts are varied, with both ready-made dishes and the option for a chef to quickly prepare something for you from the menu. There are also disposable personal hygiene items available.
We would especially like to highlight the excellent service and support in any matter from Vicky and Sandy — they are always happy to help. You can be sure that you will receive assistance here whenever you need it.
We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back, as well as recommend this hotel to our friends.
ZZiyue. The room was elegant and luxurious, and the bedding was so comfortable I could barely wake up. The service was responsive, but the breakfast buffet on the 4th floor had limited options, and my sunny-side up eggs were fully cooked, not runny. The Executive Lounge was exceptional; the service was perfectly balanced, and the staff's professionalism was outstanding. They even remembered my name and preferences after more than a year. The food and drinks served were exquisite and delicious.
MMabineThis is an old-school, state-run guesthouse in Guangzhou, and you can tell by the row of Coaster buses downstairs that it's a place with some history and prestige. Its location, facilities, and hardware are all top-notch. Being close to both the provincial and municipal governments, and right next to Beijing Road Pedestrian Street's commercial area, it's incredibly convenient to get anywhere. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean and tidy, with beautiful green gardens and scenery.

Outstanding
LlooilyThis isn't my first time staying at this hotel, and their service consistently surpasses that of others. First off, the rooms are spacious, and the bathrooms are large and well-appointed. I truly appreciate how seriously they take every request; in fact, all my requests have been met without issue. When I asked for a late checkout, they accommodated me with a room on a higher floor, away from any noise. I've also commended their housekeeping service before; they are incredibly trustworthy and remarkably quiet when cleaning other rooms – a significant detail, unlike many other hotels. Their cleaning standards are, simply put, top-notch.
And let's not forget the doorman. Every time you arrive, he spots you from a distance and immediately comes to help with your bags, always with a warm smile and a friendly, eager attitude.
Now, about the front desk – their service this time was even more impressive than I anticipated. Even though my room already had a luggage scale, I requested another one. They provided it and told me to keep it until my departure, so I wouldn't feel rushed. On another occasion, I felt a bit dizzy because I hadn't eaten. I immediately went downstairs, and they promptly checked me for any injuries. They brought me coffee and sweets in case my blood sugar had dropped and even called the manager, who personally came to my room to check on me.
This hotel truly feels like a fairytale. Their attentiveness is incredible; even without knowing a guest personally, they treat everyone with such care, making you feel like the most important person in the room. They even thoughtfully provided me with non-slip slippers out of concern for my safety, despite the floors not being slippery at all. Without a doubt, I will choose this hotel every time I visit Guangzhou. A huge thank you to all the staff; I hope they continue to maintain this exceptional level of service.
__MAVERICK_I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it. The property is clean, modern, and very comfortable. My room was spacious, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing visit. The bed was especially cozy, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and welcoming.
What truly made my stay exceptional was the outstanding service, especially from Amy at the front desk. She was incredibly hospitable, friendly, and professional. Amy made check-in smooth and was always happy to help with any questions. Her warm attitude made me feel genuinely valued as a guest. I will definitely return!
HHaska7Castle hotel is a beautiful and well maintained environment. The facilities are perfect for families, with a play room, heated swimming pool, and outdoor playground. There is also a ”sand pit” for children, but it looks like an old unused sand trap from the golf course. Nevertheless, my son enjoyed digging in it. The room was a double floor with a mezzanine balcony inside and an outdoor balcony overlooking the scenic golf court. We booked a family room for children and were assigned the ”Spiderman” room, which wasn't my favorite decor, but my son enjoyed it. Some of the room facilities such as stickers and decor needed refreshing and was old and worn (i.e. spiderman wall stickers with tears, remote for downstairs t.v. didn't work great, rubber padding around t.v. was in need of refreshing, behind the screen in the upstairs hadn't been dusted in a long time). However, the majority of the room was attractive and comfortable. The rest of the hotel was elegant and felt upscale. There were some vegetarian choices in the ”a la carte” menu of the restaurant and the breakfast buffet was fantastic. We were unable to order room service from the phone app in English so we needed to order at the front desk. The staff were incredibly helpful, some spoke English, and everyone was courteous and helped us to have a great time. The executive lounge was open from 2:00 or 3:00 onwards and offered nice snacks. My son loved visiting there in the afternoons and loading up on snacks. Overall, a great experience and we will be back.

WWaltzCame to Dongguan for a basketball game and chose this hotel. The hotel is a bit old, but well-maintained, located in the middle of a golf course, surrounded by greenery, and very quiet. Even though it was November, my kids insisted on swimming, and the water was very clean with not many people around. It was very relaxing to vacation here. Breakfast options were limited and just so-so, but the hotel's set lunch for two was decent. Special shoutout to service staff Xiao Zhu (Little Zhu) for his warm and attentive service. He explained everything clearly and in detail, and even helped us move a bed. Thank you! I'd definitely come back to stay here again if I have the chance.
ZZouacaishuiquaOur overall experience was great, especially since it wasn't peak season. There were plenty of water park attractions, and the electronic music bubble show was a highlight. My only minor complaint is that the sand on the artificial beach was a bit coarse and rough on the feet. The indoor 'Planet Fun' amusement park was really enjoyable when it wasn't crowded. The space-themed design is beautiful and captivating, almost like a mini-Meland. The room was also better than expected; I'd seen many reviews mentioning it being old and musty, but the room we stayed in didn't have any major issues. The breakfast buffet's capacity needs improvement; even with a moderate crowd, there were long lines. However, the staff were all very pleasant and proactive in resolving issues. You can have food deliveries sent to the takeout lockers on the first floor of the main building, which isn't too much hassle to pick up. That said, the hotel's Han Palace Chinese restaurant is actually quite good, and the staff are very helpful, even reminding you to use discount coupons.
SSKY_FALLThe doorman was super friendly and welcoming, and the front desk staff were really patient. The room was clean and had a great view of Canton Tower, which is also pretty close by. Jinan University is right across the street, and parking was convenient. I forgot to take a picture of the breakfast buffet, but they had a lot of dishes. It was definitely worth the price, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again if I come back to Guangzhou with friends!

Very Good
GGuest UserFacilities: The decor is a bit dated but has an antique, traditional Chinese garden style. There are restaurants on floors 2-4, and the food is quite good.
Hygiene: The bedding, towels, and carpets were all spotless.
Environment: The hotel's internal environment is quite pleasant, with a subtle incense aroma. It's next to Qinghui Garden and Huagai Road Pedestrian Street, though the external access roads are a bit narrow and prone to traffic jams.
Service: The service was good; all our requests were handled promptly.
