A perfect five-star review for the R&F Wanda Hotel Jiangmen! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, Annie's warm, spring-like smile and efficient, professional service instantly melted away my travel fatigue. The room was spacious and bright, the bedding was comfortable, and the river view was absolutely stunning. Breakfast offered a rich variety, and the service was attentive and thoughtful. This stay far exceeded my expectations; Annie and her team's warmth made this place feel less like a hotel and more like a cozy sanctuary. Highly recommended – I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Jiangmen!

I chose Wyndham again this year because of my pleasant stay during New Year's Day last year. However, the service this time, at the same time of year, was vastly different. First, the front desk handling check-in clearly ignored my special requests. As a result, when I got to the room, I found that the room I booked was the exact opposite of what I requested. Furthermore, the so-called 'lake view' room only offered a view of large trees (Picture 1). If the hotel didn't have the requested room, shouldn't the front desk have informed the guest? Secondly, I don't think Wyndham accurately estimated the number of guests for breakfast. The entire breakfast restaurant was incredibly noisy, no different from a wet market. I can understand this, as it's a holiday and there are many people. But while people were eating, those coming in would just stand next to others' tables, which I imagine was frustrating for both those trying to eat and those looking for a table. The restaurant staff's instructions for seating guests were also unclear (Picture 3). This is because there were actually dining areas on the other side of the restaurant, but they were in a sunken area and hard for guests to notice. As for the auntie at the rice noodle roll station, I wonder if she wasn't getting paid or wasn't trained, because she wore an unpleasant expression for all to see. If you can't give an extra portion according to policy, you can explain it nicely, because guests might not have seen the notice. But being confrontational with guests only causes anger, especially when the dining atmosphere is already so frustrating! In other hotels, staff are attentive to special families and even offer assistance, but despite Wyndham's high room rates, the service falls short. The breakfast selection was very ordinary, very ordinary, and with so many people, the queues for the limited made-to-order stations were incredibly long. The experience was very poor, and I didn't end up eating much anyway. Thirdly, the five-star Wyndham clearly has very poor preparedness for its guest traffic during holidays. As the weather turned cold that evening, and the forecast had warned of it, which everyone knew, many families with children needed extra blankets. However, the blanket I requested half an hour ago wasn't delivered. Finally, after I called to follow up, they said there were no blankets, and it took another hour for the requested items and a bedsheet (which was better than nothing) to arrive. In short, this stay was very unpleasant. A big-brand hotel is still inferior to a guesthouse!

Absolutely fantastic! There were even fireworks on New Year's Eve, which was such a pleasant surprise~ It felt incredibly special and ceremonial.
**Facilities:** The facilities are very comprehensive. The breakfast buffet is rich, with both Chinese and Western options, and the portions are small enough that you can try many different dishes. The complementary recreational activities are quite fun; you can even continue playing after checking out, including pickleball, mini-golf, basketball, and more – very enjoyable.
**Hygiene:** Clean and tidy.
**Environment:** The greenery is well-maintained, it's not noisy or crowded, and has an upscale vibe.
**Service:** The service is excellent. Items delivered to the room arrive quickly, and they help with luggage.

“The best hotel in Zhanjiang”
My room is sea view suite 1316 with club accessed pass where you can enjoy free dinner and drink 18.00-20.00 and I stayed here for 5 days for work.
The location is great just next to the beach and there is shopping mall where you can find something to eat and it takes only 7 mins by walk.
The room is very spacious and provide everything you need during your stay, fridge, big bathtub with sea view, robes, comb, dryer, salt bath, mouthwash, etc
Breakfast is also a competitive advantage as it offers a variety of choice (most of them are Chinese food) since early morning until 10.30.
Staff is very helpful and the front desk can speak English.
The lobby is always crowded and busy because there’s seminar / wedding event hosted here almost everyday.
Facilities of the hotel are great especially gyms and children’s room.
The only negative side is cleanliness. My shower room still got some hairfall on the ground after cleaning but the overall is ok.
I would recommend this hotel and will visit them again.

Excellent stay! The hotel was clean and well-maintained. The front desk staff, especially the lady who helped us, was incredibly kind and even upgraded our room. We also received a complimentary fruit platter. When we extended our stay, the cleaning staff thoughtfully tidied up and removed the trash. Overall, a really great experience. For a hotel near the border crossing, the price was quite reasonable. I'd definitely come back!

I needed to print an urgent document late at night, but the printer connected to the front desk computer, operated by Jay, had a paper jam. The staff member on duty remained completely calm. While quickly fixing the issue, he simultaneously used his phone's hotspot to connect to my laptop and guided me to the business center where I successfully printed my document. His ability to handle emergencies and his dual-pronged approach to problem-solving demonstrated exceptionally high professionalism.

The location is quite inconvenient; there's nowhere to eat or shop within 2 kilometers. The 'pedestrian street' is just a gimmick, full of messy little trinkets. The service is terrible. When guests make a request, the hotel staff first say 'no' and then shirk responsibility. This completely ruined my impression of Atour always being accommodating. This hotel can't compare to other Atour hotels I've stayed at; it's a franchised store, not a genuine Atour. At nearly 600 yuan per night, the high cost for such poor service makes it very bad value for money. I feel ripped off. The kettle provided didn't even have a food-grade 304 mark and looked like it was borrowed from somewhere else. I do not recommend staying at this hotel.

This hotel is beautifully situated on the Pearl River, and the facilities are well-maintained. A special shout-out to staff member Pan Yuejing – she was proactive, quick-witted, and very responsible. The hotel entrance was congested due to a conference, and when Ms. Pan learned we had a flight to catch, she took the initiative to contact our pickup driver. She then insisted on pulling our heaviest suitcases and guided us for nearly 100 meters to the car. As we drove off, we saw her still by the roadside, helping to direct traffic for us and waving goodbye. It truly felt like this White Swan employee treated customers like family. I was very touched. Because of Pan Yuejing, I felt that choosing White Swan was choosing peace of mind. Such an employee deserves recognition. Thank you, Pan Yuejing! 👍

Facilities: Fully equipped with both hardware and software.
Hygiene: Clean and sanitary.
Environment: Located in the city center, the lobby features a very tall and large Christmas tree, exuding a full festive atmosphere. There are buses to nearby cities, which is very convenient. There's also a shuttle bus to the China-Hong Kong border.
Service: Enthusiastic, proactive, professional, and efficient. The concierge staff, especially Donnoe, is familiar with the surrounding area and is polite and enthusiastic. He provided useful suggestions for my travel and recommended nearby restaurants. When I checked out, he guided me through a quick check-out process and helped me store my luggage.

I specifically came to Foshan to buy furniture and chose the Sofitel Foshan, which has a great reputation. Before checking in, I saw the hotel's introduction, and it definitely lived up to expectations once I was there. The hotel's decor, from the first-floor entrance to the rooms, is very stylish. This time, I stayed in a Luxury Postmodern room, which also had a lot of character. The overall facilities in the room were excellent, and the hygiene was very good. This morning, I saw Jingjing, the floor manager. Even though the hotel was very busy, she went above and beyond to graciously grant us a late check-out, allowing me to take a nap after finishing my furniture shopping. The service was truly exceptional!

Very Good
DDT_HKI recently had a delightful stay at this chic hotel, where cleanliness and modern design truly impressed me. The spacious room was a perfect retreat, and I was thrilled to receive a complimentary upgrade upon check-in, making the experience even more enjoyable. The hotel's location was convenient, allowing easy access to local attractions.
One highlight was the complimentary afternoon tea, which provided a lovely touch of luxury. Breakfast was a treat, featuring a wide variety of options alongside a beautiful garden view.
I also enjoyed the unique touch of food delivery to my door by robots, adding a fun and futuristic element to the stay. Overall, my experience was excellent, marked by smooth check-in and attentive service. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for comfort and style in a beautiful setting.
DDer1ckboTo be honest, my experience at Guangzhou MO this time wasn't very satisfying. We arrived at the hotel at 3:13 PM, and were told by the hotel staff that we couldn't check in because our room wasn't ready. So, my girlfriend and I went to grab a bite to eat. We returned to the hotel around 5 PM, only to be informed that we still needed to wait at the front desk as the room was still being finalized. This was a full two hours past the official check-in time of 3 PM.
There were a few other issues as well. My requests on Ctrip for extra water and towels were not fulfilled. It also took 25 minutes for our luggage to be delivered to the room, during which my phone was critically low on battery, and there was nothing I could do.
However, Guangzhou MO is, after all, an established hotel, and their service response is very prompt, with all staff members being very friendly and always smiling. The duty manager also responded quickly, which somewhat made up for the shortcomings.
All in all, Guangzhou MO is still a hotel worth experiencing, and I hope they can improve on their drawbacks.
EETLLThe hotel is in a very good location, within walking distance to many major shopping malls such as Taikoo Hui, One Link Walk, Wan Jia, Parc Central, Tianhe Mall, Shi Shang Tianhe, and Tiyu Xi Road. It was very convenient for shopping, dining, and getting around.
The room was a bit aging and not very modern, but it was spacious. The laminated flooring made the room feel and look clean. I liked that the shower and toilet were separated into different cubicles, and there was also a big bathtub, which was a nice bonus. The king-size bed was comfortable.
The hotel staff, security, and cleaning lady were all friendly and helpful. They allowed Taobao parcels to be received on guests’ behalf, and I appreciated the robot delivery service to the room.
However, there were a few drawbacks. The TV could use an upgrade — the screen size was small and most programmes felt outdated, with slightly blurred resolution. There are three lifts, but they were surprisingly slow, and we often had to wait quite a while when going out or returning to the hotel.
The biggest setback was the WiFi connection. Although the staff helped to connect, it was very unstable with frequent disconnections. This was frustrating as I needed to work on my laptop. I eventually gave up and purchased a China eSIM instead. For a 4-star hotel, the WiFi really needs significant improvement. With China being so technologically advanced, it was disappointing not to have a reliable internet connection.
Overall, I would still recommend this hotel for its excellent location, spacious rooms, and friendly staff. I would consider staying here again if the WiFi connection is improved.
KKeith077852My second time here, as like before the hotel is very clean and comfortable, Ms. Kiki was very friendly and professional at the front desk. Easy access to food, just a 3-minute-long walk.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel environment is great, the building isn't too tall, and the design is quite unique. Check-in is on the 3rd floor. Since it was my first time, it took me a while to find my way from the parking lot, walking around in circles. After checking in, I had to go to another elevator to go down, but luckily, a staff member led the way.
The room is quite spacious, with a retro decor, and it's very quiet. The bed is large and very comfortable. There's a balcony outside with two lounge chairs, and the view from the window is pretty good.
A minor disappointment: although the hotel isn't high-rise, I did request a higher floor when booking, but I still ended up on the 2nd floor.
Room facilities shortcomings: There are too few power outlets for charging. For example, a regular bathroom should have an outlet conveniently placed for a hairdryer, but there's only one for a shaver. However, the room did come with a power strip, but it's still a bit inconvenient. I hope this can be improved.
MM305841****This hotel is conveniently located near both Shenzhen and Dongguan South Railway Stations, making it easy to travel by high-speed rail or car.
The rooms are spacious and well-equipped. It was so cozy to turn on the underfloor heating and watch TV shows at night.
The hot springs are incredibly comfortable, with temperatures ranging from a gentle 38 degrees to a steaming 42 degrees, perfect for all ages.
Even though the staff was very busy during New Year's Day, they were all very warm and helpful. Everything from food and drinks to bathrobes and towels was well-stocked. I'll definitely be back!
GGuest UserThe location is very strategic where it is situated near Guangzhou East Railway Station, just across Jinan Laso it offers easy access to anywhere. The service was great, with staffs being able to speak in English and friendly, probably because it was the Canton Fair Week so they put the English-speaking staffs in the counter. One of my favorite perks was the complimentary coffee available in the cafe next to the lobby, they mentioned about complimentary milk for the night as well, but when I asked for it in the reception, they said it is already in the room although it was not the case. Also, I must mention that the room's interior felt a bit dated. While it was clean and comfortable, it could use some modernization to match the overall charm of the hotel. In summary, if you’re looking for a hotel with a great location for its value, then it is a good choice to consider.

LlakesongThis hotel is located in the heart of Foshan Shunde, just a 100-meter walk to the right to the pedestrian street. It's less than 50 meters from the exit of Qinghui Garden, renowned as the best of Guangdong's four famous gardens. On the afternoon of the second day of the 2026 New Year holiday, it was incredibly crowded, forcing us to retreat. So, early the next morning, we went back to thoroughly experience the unique charm and exquisite details of this Lingnan-style Cantonese garden. The hotel itself boasts a serene and grand Cantonese architectural style. Shunde's reputation for exceptional cuisine is well-deserved; their Cantonese dim sum and intangible cultural heritage dishes attract countless locals. The hotel was bustling with people, creating a lively atmosphere. Despite the busyness, everything was well-organized. The doorman, front desk staff, and housekeeping service were all excellent, leaving a very positive impression.

MM4020****The environment is great, quiet, and conducive to rest. I had a slight issue and communicated with the front desk. The lady at the front desk responded quickly, and the polite young man promptly came upstairs and resolved it. My impression of the hotel comes partly from its facilities, and partly from the warm housekeeping aunt who offered to adjust my mattress, the timely problem-solving by the front desk staff (both the lady and the young man), and the restaurant staff – although they weren't very communicative (I pointed out that several tables didn't have napkins, and other guests were taking them from adjacent tables. The waitress didn't respond to me verbally, but she quickly replenished the napkins at all the tables). The breakfast was decent, nothing spectacular in terms of local specialties. It's worth coming back to.
