To sum it up, this was a nearly perfect vacation, and in my opinion, if you're looking for a quiet, tranquil, and comfortable resort experience, then Banyan Tree Sanya is the absolute best in Sanya! Beyond these advantages that surpass other hotels, Banyan Tree doesn't skimp on the expected perks of a luxury brand. First, the online claims of outdated facilities are unfounded; everything is in perfect working order. Second, regarding hygiene, even with a private pool villa nestled in the rainforest, I found the cleanliness to be absolutely up to standard! I was also quite satisfied with breakfast, especially the sour and spicy seafood noodles and the egg tarts – absolutely superb! And most importantly, the service. You can tell the front desk and concierge staff are genuinely dedicated; they are very patient and communicate and resolve issues promptly. Since it was our anniversary, they even upgraded our room when available, a big thank you to our butler, Youyou, for this wonderful hospitality! Overall, this trip far exceeded my expectations, and I am extremely satisfied!

Let me start with a conclusion. The Qixianling Anlan Hotel is absolutely perfect for families with children, a great choice for all ages. Firstly, the environment is friendly. Everything you'd experience in a tropical rainforest at Yanoda, you'll find here. Secondly, the service is friendly. They provide electric cart transfers for all your movements, saving you the effort of climbing hills. Thirdly, the comfort of the hot springs. We booked a suite for 4 adults and 1 child, which was perfectly spacious. The indoor hot springs were comfortable and enjoyable, allowing us to relax at our leisure. Fourthly, the activities are abundant. Unlike beach resorts in Sanya, the activities here are suitable for all ages, primarily focusing on Li culture. You can make Li incense, sculpt Li pottery, and they offer guided introductions to tropical plants and Li culture led by Li sisters. They even picked ripe figs for us to eat. For people from the north and children, the experience is truly enriching. Fifthly, the food is excellent. When in Hainan, it's usually vinegar pork or seafood. Here, we enjoyed Li cuisine, including Five-Legged Pig and Flying Chicken, which was the most satisfying meal for me, with the wild vegetable soup being a particular highlight. The whole family enjoyed it immensely, the set meal price was very reasonable, and we added more dishes. Besides the good points, there are some minor drawbacks, mainly that the hotel has been around for some years, so the facilities are a bit outdated. I stayed at Bird's Nest thirteen years ago, but if I had to recommend, I'd suggest Anlan more. You get a similar experience for half the price, and I'd also recommend staying for two nights for a more suitable visit.

This was my first time staying at this hotel. It exceeded my expectations. The pictures of the rooms on trip.com did not look that great but once I opened the door to my room I realised the rooms were very nice, spacious, clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We received great service from Beth in reception ( checked us in very quickly, her English was great) and Eric in the dining area who made our stay delightful.

We chose this hotel as a one-night stopover. Our whole family stayed in a two-story villa. The villa is very dated, especially the living room and kitchen area. Other rooms were a bit better. One inconvenience about the villa was that the living room was separate from the sleeping areas; you had to go outside and re-enter. Another awkward point was that the rooms on both the first and second floors were locked. You constantly had to carry your key card with you. Otherwise, for a one or two-day stay, it's a good choice. I chose this hotel specifically to celebrate my birthday because I’m a big fan of Marriott Bonvoy. I stayed there with my mother and my baby, and the entire experience was wonderful. The room was absolutely stunning. As a birthday gesture, I received a complimentary upgrade to a larger room with a beautiful view. It was spacious, luxurious, and extremely comfortable. The attention to detail was exceptional — even the beds were prepared for us in the evening as part of the turndown service, which was such a lovely touch. We also had a personal butler, Andy, who did everything he could to make our stay as comfortable and special as possible. He took wonderful care of us throughout our stay, surprised us with thoughtful little gifts and souvenirs before our departure, and was genuinely kind and attentive. He even treated us to signature cocktails for my birthday, which made the celebration even more memorable. Overall, this is an exceptional hotel with a very high level of service and hospitality. Breakfast was another important factor for me when choosing the hotel. I was looking for a place with a good selection of European-style breakfast options rather than predominantly Chinese cuisine, and I was very happy with the choice here. Everything was delicious. I especially want to highlight the pastries — they were outstanding and genuinely comparable to what you would expect from a great hotel in Europe. There was also an excellent variety of fresh fruit, and both the quality and selection of food were impressive. Most of all, this hotel gives you that wonderful feeling of a peaceful, unhurried escape — the kind of place where you simply want to stay, relax, and enjoy the moment, as if time slows down. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy excellent service, tranquility, beautiful surroundings, and perfectly maintained grounds. It was a truly lovely birthday stay.

Achieved 'private pool freedom' in Yalong Bay, and the Thai-style villa was absolutely stunning! Coming to Sanya, staying in a villa is a must! This time, I stayed in the Pullman's Thai-style Deluxe Pool Villa, and it completely exceeded my expectations! 🏡Ambiance: As soon as I entered the room, I was blown away by the massive private pool. It's a truly private, standalone space, surrounded by lush greenery, giving off a strong Southeast Asian resort vibe. It's fantastic for photos! Getting to the beach requires walking through the Marriott's side for a few hundred meters. The water in Yalong Bay is truly crystal clear. 🏊♂️Facilities: The villa space is very generous, and the wet/dry separation is excellent. The bathtub is right by the window, so you can enjoy the view while bathing. The private pool water was very clean, and it was incredibly comfortable to play in the water this season. I spent a whole day in the water and didn't want to get out. 🍽️Dining & Service: The hotel breakfast offered a rich variety and tasted good. The butler service was very thoughtful; any issues during my stay were responded to quickly, and they even helped arrange buggy transfers. 🌟Summary: Although I booked using a voucher, the service was absolutely not compromised. If you're looking for a quiet, private getaway where you can fully enjoy swimming, Pullman Yalong Bay is definitely the top choice. The experience was absolutely perfect!

The room was great, spacious and comfortable. My child had a good long sleep after diving. There are buggies available for transportation, and they also provide ferry tickets. Various water activities come with discounted prices, so it's quite good value for money. The only downside is the restroom on the 4th-floor restaurant, which was a bit dirty, and I don't know why (my daughter) didn't flush it 😮💨. Overall, my child had a blast.

The hotel's location in Xiaodonghai is great. While it's an older property, the facilities are well-maintained, and the rooms exceeded my expectations. It offers good value for money. During holidays, getting to the city center can be slow due to traffic from Luhuitou. I hope the hotel improves its pool management; it's currently subpar. People were in the pool without swim caps and even wearing shoes, which makes you wonder about the water quality. On the plus side, access to the beach is very convenient and close, perfect for families with children. However, Xiaodonghai has many underwater rocks, making it a bit uncomfortable to swim from the shore. The concierge service was excellent – very friendly and proactive in helping with luggage. Also, the breakfast was delicious with good quality offerings, including fresh juice. Overall, it was a good value stay, and I hope the hotel addresses the areas for improvement.

The hotel is nestled at the foot of Qixianling Mountain, boasting a superb environment. The main building is ideal for wheelchair users, and the receptionist was very helpful, upgrading my room. The room even had its own hot spring, which was very convenient and comfortable. The restaurant manager was very welcoming and greeted us proactively; the food was also of good quality. A truly wonderful trip, I would definitely stay here again.

This villa-style hotel has a great environment and excellent service. Our room even had a small private pool, and there's a private beach right outside, making it easy to enjoy the sea views. The complimentary double breakfast was also good, with a wide variety of choices. They offer high-speed rail transfer service and free travel photography. Plus, there are handicraft activities. I would definitely come back to this hotel again!
