The serene scenery, with every corner offering a different view, and the views changing with the time of day – simply impeccable, we loved it. The staff were very responsive and efficient in their solutions, almost always accommodating requests while maintaining a polite sense of boundaries, which was excellent! When booking, I noted that we wanted a quiet room, and the staff were incredibly thoughtful, preparing a top-floor room with a fantastic view and great privacy, and even gave us a complimentary bottle of red wine. The breakfast buffet was decent, with delicious local specialty snacks. The rice noodle stall offered intangible cultural heritage rice noodles, wontons, and especially the dumplings – all tasty. The dinner buffet was more standard; it had everything you'd expect, and the ingredients were fresh and of good quality. However, taste is subjective, so I'd suggest focusing on the sauces – preparing more diverse flavored sauces suitable for different ingredients, as the Western-style sauces were a bit lacking in richness. Happy New Year, and here's to even greater heights!

Even during the Chinese New Year, the overall service standard at the Four Seasons in Guangzhou remained consistently high. Its location is absolutely prime, being one of the 'Big Three' hotels. Right downstairs, you'll find multiple shopping malls and parks, and several Michelin and Black Pearl restaurants are within walking distance. The housekeeping service was incredibly meticulous; the handwritten notes left daily were a thoughtful and heartwarming touch. However, the front desk service was quite disappointing. On my first day, since I was staying for three consecutive nights and hadn't booked the basic room category, I casually asked if a room upgrade was possible. During Chinese New Year, it's totally understandable if an upgrade isn't available. But the front desk staff immediately, without even checking availability, said no. I could clearly see online that all room types had vacancies that day, which suggests it was purely an attitude problem. On my third day, I extended my stay for the original room online and then went to the front desk to re-activate my key card. To my surprise, the front desk told me to come back and change the key card when I checked out tomorrow. This kind of inflexibility was quite baffling. It's worth noting that on both occasions I went to the front desk, there were four staff members and I was the only guest, so there was no issue of them being busy or overwhelmed. Overall, the Four Seasons is still the Four Seasons, but the service gap between the front desk and housekeeping departments was surprisingly vast.

This hotel is our top choice for family vacations with kids – the experience was absolutely fantastic! We got a complimentary upgrade to the Executive Floor during check-in, which was much quieter than the main building.
The Executive Floor has its own breakfast area, so there were no long queues. It was spacious and comfortable, and the food was exquisite, which made the kids very happy. The hotel also has a private beach that’s clean and not crowded, with soft sand, so the little ones could play and dig without a worry.
The family-friendly facilities are in the main building, with a well-equipped kids' club and plenty of activities to keep the children entertained and burn off their energy. Overall, it's a peaceful and relaxing place. I highly recommend coming during off-peak holidays for a wonderful beach vacation vibe, a great alternative to Sanya.

Out of all the hotels I stayed at during my trip to Shenzhen and Guangzhou, the Shangri-La wasn't the most expensive, but it was definitely the most satisfying. Even though it was busy during the Chinese New Year, the service quality wasn't affected at all. The room wasn't huge, but it had an expansive view and beautiful scenery. The layout was well-designed, and the amenities were good too. The hotel is conveniently located right next to a subway station, making it easy to get around, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. Shenzhen Bay Park is also within walking distance, and a stroll along the bay watching the seagulls is quite pleasant. The breakfast was the most delightful surprise – high quality and a rich variety of options. A special thank you to the staff at the dim sum counter! While there are still some construction sites around the hotel, it doesn't detract from the overall experience. This hotel is highly recommended.

The room facilities were excellent. Even though it's an older hotel, it doesn't show its age at all. The moment you walk in, you're greeted by a refreshing aroma. The front desk staff, especially one lady whose name I didn't catch, provided fantastic service and even upgraded me to an Opera House room. Her professionalism and dedication were truly commendable. Every single staff member I encountered smiled and nodded, making this a truly satisfying Ritz experience. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
The hotel's service is absolutely perfect, 10 out of 10! Chloe's service was exceptional and really made a difference. Every staff member was warm and polite, which was fantastic. And Max was super cute and cuddly too!
This hotel is ideally located in the heart of Shenzhen's Houhai Financial Headquarters Base, right next to the 'Spring Bamboo Shoot' tower, Shenzhen Bay MixC World, and Talent Park. It's just a 10-minute walk to the Shenzhen Bay Sports Center and a 20-minute drive to Futian High-speed Railway Station. This prime location offers the best of both worlds – 'city on one side, nature on the other.' Guests can enjoy trendy shopping and dining at MixC World or take a stroll through the lush greenery of Talent Park, with distant views of Shenzhen Bay's sparkling waters. Whether for business or leisure, the hotel provides the ultimate experience of 'stepping out into vibrancy, returning to tranquility,' truly a 'city oasis' on the shores of Shenzhen Bay.

Location: The hotel is situated in the Bao'an district, which is a new area of Shenzhen. While it's a bit far from city attractions like Lianhuashan Park and Shenzhen Bay Park, the nearby coastal park is also quite nice.
Facilities: The hotel has only been open for just over a year, so all the facilities are well-equipped and in excellent condition. It truly feels like it could be the flagship St. Regis in China right now.
Service: The staff are all incredibly welcoming. They always greet you with a smile, and their signature St. Regis butler service is very attentive and on point.
Food & Beverage: The breakfast spread is extensive and everything tastes delicious. The hotel also boasts two distinctive bars: a traditional St. Regis lounge bar and a modern terrace bar, both of which are very unique.
Came to Shenzhen for a weekend getaway and wanted to check out this highly-rated hotel. Overall, the stay was good, but the service and facilities lacked distinctiveness.
The view of Shenzhen Bay from the room was a major highlight, and the room's automated equipment was quite advanced. The minibar also offered complimentary soft drinks, which were great.
On the downside, the decor lacked character; I couldn't recall the design or color scheme after checking out. Also, for a city hotel costing over 2500, while it did come with a butler, their service felt rather ceremonial with little substance. There wasn't a good introduction to the hotel's public areas or unique features, so I didn't get to experience many activities in those areas during my stay. Ultimately, the value for money wasn't great.

Opened in 2015, Park Hyatt Guangzhou, while not located within Guangzhou's iconic landmarks (the Zhujiang New Town East and West Towers are right next door, offering equally close views of the Canton Tower), still secures its spot among Guangzhou's top luxury hotels thanks to its high-end ambiance, exquisite cuisine, and exceptional service. As the flagship Hyatt property, Park Hyatt Guangzhou's dining options are particularly noteworthy and truly impressive. This visit, I sampled Yue Jing Xuan and Yue Xuan. The former is renowned for its Black Pearl One-Star Cantonese cuisine, while the latter is an authentic Italian restaurant (also serving semi-buffet breakfast and brunch). Dishes like Yue Jing Xuan's flaming salt-baked crab, red crab steamed with Huang Gong chili and Chinese cabbage, crispy chicken with black truffle, baked Dalian five-head abalone with ginger and spring onion, stewed fish maw with fresh lily and rice valley, and sour soup hand-pulled noodles in a clay pot, as well as Yue Xuan's freshly made black truffle pizza, handcrafted preserved plum sparkling water, Tiramisu, various breads, and blueberry milkshake, were all incredibly delicious. Furthermore, as a luxury hotel, the service is impeccable. Whether it's the front office, guest rooms, dining, or kitchen, every department works seamlessly together in perfect coordination to ensure guests feel the warmth of home. Special thanks to F&B Director Nancy, Yue Xuan Manager Andy, Assistant Manager Nancy, Yue Jing Xuan Restaurant Manager Candy, Assistant Manager Noah, Front Office Manager Mark, Assistant Managers Mia and Jamie, Guest Services Zero, Housekeeping Macy, Eric, and the entire management and operations team. Park Hyatt Guangzhou is definitely worth revisiting!

Originally, I booked one night, but then extended my stay for two more nights because the hotel's service is genuinely excellent, with great attention to detail. Upon arrival, someone was there to open the car doors, which is a given, but they also consistently opened doors for us whenever we entered or exited the hotel. Almost all staff members greeted us as we passed through the lobby. During check-in, you can sit down for a bit and enjoy a welcome tea, which tasted quite good. When heading up to the room, staff proactively offered to help with luggage and guide the way. You can even have food delivered directly to your room; just make sure to clearly state your room number. Once delivered, they'll ring the doorbell. If you have the 'do not disturb' sign on, they'll hang it on the door without any unnecessary disturbance. This high level of service and attention to detail is evident in many aspects, and I personally feel it has an advantage over other five-star hotels. The spa's body massage was also good and worth trying. Honestly, if I come to Guangzhou again, I'll definitely choose this hotel.

GGuest UserThis was my first time staying at this hotel, and even though it was only for one day, I was quite impressed overall. It's the kind of place where you gradually appreciate the service; it's not the fast-food style service of the new era. Beyond that, the convenient location, the room environment, and the excellent service from Xiao Hui, along with the hotel's value-added services, all contributed to my growing fondness for the hotel. It was a very pleasant stay and a somewhat rare opportunity, as my business trip destination led me to choose Mehood Lestie Hotel near Guangzhou East Railway Station.
The hotel's location is incredibly convenient. It's less than a three to four-minute walk from Exit B of Guangzhou East Railway Station's subway, and it's also very close to the high-speed rail. This was definitely one of the reasons I chose it for my trip. The service from hotel staff member Krystal was also excellent.
Besides the crucial location, another reason I chose Mehood Lestie Hotel is its proximity to Guangzhou East Railway Station, which makes travel very convenient from there. It's about a six to seven-minute walk from the East Station to the hotel. Plus, recently, its overall value for money has been quite high. The room facilities and amenities are quite comprehensive: a mini-fridge, hairdryer, a three-pronged charger, two sets of pajamas, disposable slippers and regular slippers, hangers, and an ashtray are all provided. There's also a smart 'Xiao Du' assistant. On the desk, you'll find tea bags, coffee sachets, water glasses, an electric kettle, and mineral water – all fully equipped. The TV is very large, integrated into the wall paneling, with a responsive remote control, clear picture quality, and pleasant sound – truly excellent. You can lie back and read a book or newspaper. Overall, the room is very spacious.

KKaltsit. My stay at Shenzhen MO was absolutely perfect! I have to give a special shout-out to Ms. Tipo, who was incredibly warm and attentive. She gave us a detailed room tour and offered fantastic travel recommendations throughout our two-day stay – so thoughtful! All the staff were very friendly, creating a wonderful service atmosphere. The location is super convenient, close to UpperHills and a park, which was great for traveling with seniors. The executive room and lounge offered stunning views, the bedding was clean and comfortable, and the turndown service had great attention to detail. I'll definitely be staying here again next time I'm in Shenzhen!
SSwedKiwi85Ibis offers a comfortable and very convenient stay within walking distance of 2 metro stations, Qifeng Park, and many restaurants. While the room could have been cleaned better, the comfort, facilities and service by the friendly receptionists more than made up for it. I particularly appreciated being able to do laundry onsite and getting directions and advice from the staff.

This hotel was quite mediocre, and I stayed there for three days during the New Year's Day holiday. The hygiene was subpar; you could see old, yellowish stains in the corners of the shower. The hand towels were placed on the sink outside the bathroom, and the bath towels were even in the wardrobe near the window, far from the toilet, which was inconvenient. The showerhead couldn't be fixed in place, and the drainage was poor, so water would overflow into the bathroom during showers, leaving the entire toilet area wet. There was no full-length mirror. While the sink had a large mirror, it wasn't good for seeing your full body or even facial details, so those who need to do their makeup should really reconsider. The inner window offered no natural light, and the room lighting was very dim. There were too many switches, and because it was so dark, it took ages to figure out which switch was for what. The air conditioning was very ineffective. Guangzhou had a cold spell during my stay, and even with the AC on all night, it was still chilly. The laundry room was even worse; the dryer simply didn't dry clothes. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive either, and the stir-fried noodles, rice, and vegetables, which should have been hot, were all cold. However, the cleaning staff were all very nice and proactively asked if I needed anything. The front desk staff's attitude was acceptable, and they responded quickly. The price was inflated during the New Year's Day period, but even the regular prices aren't low. Frankly, the facilities don't justify the price.
JjerryleezyThis is my second stay at Rosewood this year, and I've noticed a significant improvement in service both times. It feels like Rosewood has invested a lot in staff training. Service used to be a weak point, but now it's really stepped up. From the moment the car pulled up and they helped with luggage, to the detailed communication during check-in, the executive lounge dinner, and the breakfast service and food quality, plus the cheerful pool staff – it truly feels like Rosewood's service has gotten much better. This time, I particularly want to commend the excellent room cleanliness. My child wore non-slip socks in the room for three days without changing them because it was so clean, which made us feel much more at ease... though the tea bags in the room were a bit disappointing!

GGuest UserI'm never disappointed when staying at a Marriott property; that's the power and quality of their brand. From the moment I entered, the concierge proactively offered to help with my luggage, and the front desk staff efficiently handled check-in – the entire process was professional yet warm. The room was clean and elegant, the bedding comfortable, and the soundproofing excellent; high-end standards were evident in every detail. The dining options were extensive and fresh, facilities were well-maintained, and the guest services team was promptly responsive, truly making me feel at home. Marriott's consistent high quality and attentive service make every stay reassuring and comfortable. It's my first choice for both business trips and leisure vacations. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserThis was my first stay at Qiu Guo Hotel, and I was very impressed. The environment is lovely, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The housekeeping staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with anything we needed. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent. Breakfast was decent, with all the essentials. The front desk staff were also very welcoming; they greeted us as soon as we walked in and always said hello when we passed by. Everyone was really enthusiastic. It offers great value for money and I'd definitely recommend it.
AAnonymous UserI was extremely satisfied with my stay! The hotel is right by Keyun Road, and getting to Pazhou is just a bridge away. There's plenty of parking, which is super convenient, and it's free for guests. From the moment I walked in, I felt a warm, 'welcome home' feeling. The lobby has a great design, and the fragrance is delightful. Check-in at the front desk was quick, and since it was Valentine's Day, they even gave us a small gift. The room view was excellent, the bedding soft and comfortable, and the cleanliness details were impeccable. Breakfast offered a rich variety of fresh ingredients, and the freshly cooked noodles were delicious. I especially want to praise the service; every staff member smiled, greeted guests proactively, and responded to requests incredibly fast. This is definitely a five-star hotel. Whether for a business trip or a leisure vacation, this is my top choice. I will definitely stay here again!
