My visit to the Metropolitan Museum of Art (The Met) was truly breathtaking! Upon entering, I headed straight for the Raphael exhibition; the classic Renaissance paintings were exquisitely detailed and moving, their colors and compositions brimming with life. Then, in the European Paintings section, I saw firsthand Gauguin's tropical, untamed style, Van Gogh's "Portrait of a Man with a Straw Hat," and other works—the impact of the originals far surpassed that of books or screens. The museum's collection is incredibly diverse. Besides European classical sculpture and decorative arts, you can also admire the exquisite craftsmanship of ancient Chinese bronzes, porcelain, and calligraphy, as well as ancient relics such as Egyptian mummies and temple reliefs. Each section felt like stepping into a time tunnel; the depth of cultural fusion was captivating. Three hours was simply not enough to see everything. It's truly one of the world's greatest art museums, and I definitely want to come back to immerse myself in it properly!

Park tickets are very expensive. Some facilities are a bit dated. Free lockers are quite small. Hogwarts castle is under maintenance so no light shows

You don't necessarily need to pay to go to the island or buy a paid cruise ticket. You can take a free ferry from the plaza pier near Fortress Park City (walk on the right when boarding, don't worry about the direction the bow is facing). From the ferry, you can enjoy a distant view of the Statue of Liberty; the scenery is quite expansive and tranquil.

How Does Early Bird Check in Southwest Work?

Southwest Airlines’ Early Bird Check-in is a paid service that allows passengers to secure an earlier boarding position (improving seat selection & overhead bin space availability), compared to standard check-in.

The system automatically checks you in before the general 24-hour check-in window opens. Early Bird Check will not help you to pick your seats – it just gives you an early boarding group, so you have more open seats to choose from when you step onto the plane.
