The room's furniture and decor are quite good – new, comfortable, and clean. There were no slippers (I had my own, so I didn't ask the hotel; maybe like some European hotels, you have to specifically request them, or perhaps they don't provide them at all). The bathroom was clean and new, but the towels were just so-so (clean, not dirty, but the quality wasn't great). The female receptionist was a bit condescending and had an odd demeanor. She sent an intern to handle my check-in, but then came out to whisper with the intern when it was time to pay, insisting on charging a double city tax for a single person. The whole experience was far from ideal, even though I'd like to avoid labeling her as stingy. The male receptionist next to her, however, provided much better service and was more efficient. For travelers arriving or departing Antwerp by train, the hotel's location is excellent, just a one-minute walk to the station.

In terms of value for money, my partner and I confidently give it a solid 5*. Book with breakfast included — it will save you a significant amount of money. There are a few minor points to be aware of: The city itself is very expensive. The lift and electricity in the room only work when the key card is inserted. At breakfast, you can make Belgian waffles yourself, although using an American-style waffle iron. There are some visible signs of wear and tear, and our shower leaked slightly onto the tiles. Everything else about the hotel was excellent. The morning coffee is very good.

Overall, it was very good, but the toilet bowls in the apartment we stayed in were an eyesaw and needed changing. So, I'm not sure how the cleaning is done for the bowls to be in that state. Gluten-free is not understood. My wife was given gluten-free bread the first day, she asked the following day, and she was told it was on the same tray with the gluten bread. This shouldn't be the case as this is a clear cross contamination in which any presence of gluten is harmful to her. This was poor costumer care.

The crew is always very helpful and kind. I love the rooms - they are very spacious, clean and have everything you need. Large mirror and area to get ready in the morning. Perfect location, right next to the station so easy when you arrive by train. The bed is huge, and very comfortable. This is my second stay here and my go-to hotel when in Antwerp.

The location is recommended, nearby the Central Station. Spacious for a standard room. For standard room is there no outlet available so it was difficult if you want to curl or iron your hair. When I checked in the room looked clean but the toilet was not cleaned the was still urine in the toilet and drops of urine on the toilet seat so I called the reception and they sent somebody to get it cleaned. Staff are friendly.

There's a Russian grocery store nearby, so I was able to cook and eat the food I bought there. There was no toothpaste or toothbrush, but shampoo, conditioner, and soap were provided. They had pots, pans, a colander, a grater, and a complete set of dishes. There was an induction cooktop, an electric kettle, a fridge-freezer, a microwave, and even a coffee maker. Tea and instant coffee were also included. There isn't a washing machine in the room, but it seems there's one on the floor outside. There's also a safe, and the auto-lock works with the room key card, which gives a good sense of security.

De locatie nabij het station in Turnhout naast het spoor gaf ons eerst twijfels, maar het geluid van de voorbij rijdende trein is nauwlijks hoorbaar. Heerlijk geslapen. Het ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid, er was ruime keuze.

This hotel is a perfect choice for travelers visiting Antwerp! The rooms are spotless, the location is incredibly convenient—just steps from the train station—and the thoughtful touch of free apples at the entrance adds to the experience. I would definitely recommend staying here for comfort and ease!

It was nice, the only problem was that the bed were separated in the middle but after mentioning that they were very quick to fix the problem. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
