I stayed at The St. Regis Mumbai for two nights last week and had an excellent experience. The check-in process was efficient, and the staff maintained a high level of professionalism throughout my stay. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and offered an impressive city view. Housekeeping was consistent and attentive, ensuring everything was in order without needing to request anything.
Although I did not try the breakfast service, I did visit the bar on the 37th floor, which was a highlight of the stay. The night views from the top were outstanding, and the atmosphere was refined yet vibrant. The service team at the bar was attentive, and the overall experience made for an enjoyable evening.
Overall, The St. Regis Mumbai delivered a high-quality stay with strong service standards and a well-maintained property. I would highly recommend it for both business and leisure travel.

The hotel service is very good, and the equipment is quite new. However, the elevator is slow to respond. Many times, I thought it had sensed the room card, but it ended up running to another floor. The food is good, but the lack of bacon is the only regret.

Fariyas Resort in Lonavala is a gem of a getaway, combining scenic beauty, excellent amenities, and warm hospitality to create a memorable experience. Nestled in the picturesque hills of Lonavala, the resort's location is one of its standout features. Surrounded by lush greenery and serene views, Fariyas offers a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Its proximity to key attractions like Tiger’s Leap and Bushi Dam makes it an excellent base for exploring Lonavala.
The resort is well-known for its impressive range of amenities, and they certainly lived up to the expectations. The highlight for us was the pool and water park area, which is perfect for families and solo travelers alike. The pool was clean and well-maintained, providing a refreshing dip amidst the scenic surroundings. The water park, complete with slides and splash zones, added an element of fun and adventure to our stay. It was wonderful to see both kids and adults enjoying themselves in this thoughtfully designed space.
Dining at Fariyas is another aspect worth praising. The buffet spread for both lunch and breakfast was extensive and delicious, catering to a variety of tastes and preferences. Breakfast featured a mix of continental and Indian dishes, with highlights like fresh pastries, dosas, and flavorful coffee. Lunch offered a more elaborate spread with live counters and delectable desserts, ensuring that every meal was a feast. The attentive staff at the restaurant further enhanced the dining experience with their courteous service.
The bar at the resort is a cozy and inviting space, perfect for relaxing with a drink after a day of exploring. The well-curated menu of beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, ensured there was something for everyone. The bartender’s recommendations were spot-on, and the ambiance added to the charm of the evening.
A special mention must be made of the resort's Christmas décor, which was absolutely delightful. From twinkling lights to thoughtfully arranged festive displays, the entire property exuded holiday cheer. The Christmas tree in the lobby was a particular highlight, and the effort to create a warm, festive atmosphere did not go unnoticed. It truly added a magical touch to our stay, making it all the more memorable.
Overall, Fariyas Resort seamlessly blends luxury and comfort with its stunning location, exceptional amenities, and attentive service. Whether you’re looking for a family vacation, a romantic retreat, or a solo getaway, this resort has something for everyone. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Lonavala, especially during the festive season when the resort is at its vibrant best.

Bhavya VaghasiaIt was a great experience. The restaurants are nice albeit you need to be sure if you like the authetic flavours from South Indian cuisine. As the paneer dish tasted a bit bitter due to different spices used in South Indian cuisine. Overall, great hotel and it is a peaceful to be in the large high ceiling lobby.

Anonymous UserHuge spacious room, cabinets/mini bar area were slightly moist.. had the wet wooden smell. Breakfast was okish.
Good for a one night stay if you're heading to the airport the next day. Less than 5mins walking distance to T1. Buggy is avail / staff can help you with your luggage to the terminal. Multiple eateries at the airport too if you're not into proper sit down dining at the hotel.

We stayed for 2 nights at the Taj Mahal Tower. Unfortunately, when booking, there were no rooms left in the main Taj building, so I was a bit apprehensive. However, in the end, we had absolutely no regrets, quite the opposite! All the buildings are connected, so you essentially use the same pool and public areas. You can easily walk to the main building and admire it from the inside. It's a magnificent hotel with superb service, and I'm even a little glad we stayed in the Tower. Firstly, the Tower is taller, which means the Gateway of India is right at your fingertips.

The warm welcome at reception set a positive first impression, with staff making us feel genuinely welcomed upon arrival. However, this initial experience was somewhat overshadowed by the hotel's apparent need for modernization across multiple areas.
The room, while functional, showed clear signs of aging. This was particularly noticeable in the bathroom, where the bathtub's worn condition affected both its appearance and cleanliness. While not unsanitary, the dated fixtures definitely impacted the overall comfort and luxury feel one expects from a hotel stay.
The facilities left much to be desired. The gym, though available, is undersized and features outdated equipment. As for dining options, the Latitude restaurant offers a buffet service, though at 4000 RNI for two people, it feels overpriced for the overall experience.
Our stay was significantly impacted by noise from a birthday celebration that continued until 10 PM. While understanding that hotels host events, better sound insulation or event management would have been appreciated to maintain guest comfort.
Pros:
- Excellent, welcoming staff
- Convenient restaurant on-site
Cons:
- Dated rooms and facilities
- Noise management issues
- Expensive dining options
- Small, outdated gym
While the hotel benefits from its friendly staff, it requires substantial updating to justify its pricing and meet modern hospitality standards. For travelers prioritizing updated amenities and a quiet environment, you might want to explore alternative options.

We recently stayed at The Westin to celebrate my wife Ritika’s birthday, and I must say – the entire experience was wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality and attention to detail were impressive.
A special thanks to Jasmina, who took care of every arrangement perfectly. Her efforts truly made the occasion memorable for us. The decor, the room setup, and the overall vibe reflected warmth and elegance.
The entire staff was courteous, well-behaved, and extremely professional. Everyone made sure we felt welcomed and comfortable throughout our stay.
Highly recommend The Westin for anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion. Thank you once again for making Ritika’s birthday so special!

I requested a very quiet room, and upon check-in, I was assured room 101 was a very quiet room. I really needed to sleep between my 2 flights. As soon as I entered my room, I went to bed and fell asleep, only to be woken up quite soon afterwards by the sound of banging - not sure what it was - drawers, cupboards, doors. Then I heard someone walking around wearing very heavy footwear, so I called reception and fortunately they put a stop to it. But then it seemed like they were doing construction work in the room above me - they started hammering!!! Yes, HAMMERING!!!!! Followed by DRILLING!!!! No chance whatsoever of any sleep! I called reception again, and they stopped the hammering and the drilling. A few minutes of peace, and then the people in room 137 put their TV on at FULL VOLUME !!! It was so loud that the television might just as well have been in my room. I put my dress on over my nighty, and went round to room 137, and asked the young girl to turn down the TV, which she did, for a little while. Zero chance of any rest, zero chance of any sleep. Even though this is an airport hotel, there is NO SOUNDPROOFING, so basically you can hear absolutely everything going on in all the rooms around you.
Staff were very nice, and were always trying to do their best to ensure a pleasant stay, but all this noise is clearly the fault of the senior management. Hammering and drilling are not what one associates with a Hilton airport hotel room!!!!
