This was my first time staying at Babahouse, and I really loved the concept and traditional style of the hotel. From the moment we arrived at the lobby, we were warmly greeted and welcomed with a complimentary drink coin for the entire stay — 1 coin per person, per room. Since we had 2 rooms for 2 days, we received 4 coins in total. A nice little touch that made us feel welcomed. When we entered our rooms, they were generally clean, tidy and comfortable. However, in one of the rooms, we noticed some mould on the towel and also on the bed. We understand that this can happen if a room has been unoccupied for some time, especially with the humid weather. We also noticed that only some of the room windows have coverings, which may contribute to the room condition. Hopefully, the management can pay extra attention to this. The weather outside was extremely hot, with no rain for the whole week, so the first thing we did was turn the air-conditioning on full blast! We also tried the gym and really enjoyed it. Although the gym is small, the space is sufficient for a simple workout. They also provide towels and drinking water, which is very convenient. Around the hotel, there is Rumah Kechik Café and also a hidden bar on the side, which adds to the overall charm and experience. During our stay, we didn't drive around much. We mainly went out to Jonker Street and simply walked from the hotel. It was easy and convenient, and it also saved us time from dealing with traffic and finding parking. Overall, I really enjoyed my first stay at Babahouse. I love the traditional concept, atmosphere and location. With a little more attention to room maintenance and cleanliness, I believe the experience could be even better. Definitely a place I would consider staying again when visiting Melaka.

Had a pleasant and enjoyable stay. Despite having the toilet leaking on the 1st day evening, they sent 3 maintenance guys to check and rectify the problem. Loved the shower, strategic location near to many eateries, walkable attractions abt 15min, have a small pool quiet and cosy, overall good time. Definitely will come back again. Easy to check in with touch screen card access guidelines and check out. They have hair dryer, iron board, electrical kettle, tea coffee sugar, workable TV, mini fridge. Pool is at L23 open 7am-8pm, there is a vending machine to purchase swimming attire of all sizes. L3 there are ballrooms, small gym and a restaurant. The view is amazing. Thank you so much.

The rooms were poorly maintained for a 5-star hotel. I was shocked with the amount of mould growing on the grout and corners within the room that were not scrubbed. It’s clear that the cleaning policies were lacking at this hotel. Swimming pool water was dirtier than usual. If you look into the pool, you’ll be able to see black coloured particles floating in the pool. Breakfast wise was normal, nothing much to rave. Spread was a 3.5/5. Quality wise was 3/5. Their nasi lemak rice was bland, without any coconut fragrance. Disappointing for the fact that it’s their national dish. There’s no live eggs station due to the sheer number of guests having their bf in one large hall. Quite a disappointing experience overall but for the price paid, I can’t complain much.

I really loved staying here! The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive. 👍🏻 I forgot to request room decorations for our anniversary in advance, but fortunately, the staff were kind enough to accommodate my request. They surprised us with simple decorations and a complimentary cake, which made our special day even happier and more memorable. 🥰🎂 A special shout-out to Ms Ima, Ms Izza, Ms Aisha & Ms Betty for your great service. 👏🏼👏🏼 Your kindness truly means a lot to us. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. We also loved the view! We were lucky enough to enjoy views of the town, the sea, and the surrounding Klebang area. 🌊✨ Lastly, I really loved the breafast options & taste, it was variety and good quality of food 😍 I would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to others. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my stay. ❤️

Overall, I really liked this hotel with its strong Nanyang (Southeast Asian) charm. From the exterior to the room decor, everything felt great. It's within walking distance to attractions and close to the TBS bus station, just a fifteen-minute drive away. However, there were a few things I wasn't happy about: 1. I didn't realize beforehand that breakfast here is à la carte and only starts at 7:00 AM. It also takes a while for the food to be prepared. Since we had already booked our bus back to Kuala Lumpur for 9:00 AM, there was no time to eat. It was a shame, and we couldn't get a refund either. The staff kindly packed two boxes of bread for us, but for a breakfast costing several hundred for four people, it wasn't worth it. If you want to enjoy breakfast properly, definitely plan your time carefully. 2. We were three adults and one child, but we were required to book two rooms. Even though the rooms were spacious, we couldn't add an extra bed. 3. The soundproofing in the rooms was very poor. We could clearly hear our neighbors showering and flushing the toilet at night, and it was quite noisy. 4. We were charged 600 RMB for the two rooms upon check-in. I paid with a credit card, but upon check-out, I was told the refund would take 15 business days to be credited back to my account. That's quite annoying.

The room was spacious and comfortable and the location was quite good . Very convenient to travel around and explore area. The only one thing disappointed us that experience during check out. We had informed the front desk in person as we needed a late check out till 2pm and then had paid RM50 for it . The front desk took our keycard and room number to update after payment. So Despite this , around 1.15 pm , one of the hotel staff come to our room and rang the bell to tell us that it’s already over the check out time . We feel that the staff should have checked their system or confirmed with the front desk before coming to our room and inform us we exceed the check-out time. Anyway, we enjoyed our stay there and liked the spacious room and convenient location.

The room was excellent, boasting a fantastic view of Malacca city. Being on a high floor, humidity wasn't an issue at all. It was incredibly comfortable and impeccably clean. The service was outstanding! Absolutely superb!

Amazing Stay! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hi, I’m Aida from Room 2138. I stayed at Hatten Hotel for 3 days and 2 nights, and I had such a wonderful experience! From the moment I arrived, all the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I was also pleasantly surprised that no deposit was required during check-in, which made the process even more convenient. The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The hotel was quite crowded during my stay, probably because of the Merdeka celebrations and school holidays, but the atmosphere was lively and enjoyable. The only minor downside was that the lifts could get quite crowded, but honestly, that was just a small issue compared to the overall great experience. The location is also a huge plus—very convenient and strategic. Overall, I’m really happy with my stay and will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommended! ❤️

Very comfortable hotel with a pool, suitable for kids. Great location near the River Cruise jetty, and walking distance to Dataran Pahlawan along the riverside path. Beautiful views... worth it. Shops, especially Speedmart99 and Mamak Sri Sahabat, have really delicious and affordable food. The staff, from top to bottom, are all kind, friendly, and welcoming. You should definitely stay at this hotel... it's worth it. I stayed 1 night, then extended to 3 nights! 😆😆
