Mr Jason who is English speaking has gone the extra mile to help give us invaluable advice for our private local tours. Thus, Legendale Hotel Beijing is one of the best 5 star hotel that we have stayed in China.

This hotel was amazing. We were on our honeymoon and had 3 days in Beijing. Our room was beautiful and on the 22nd floor with a amazing view of the city. The round bath tub in the room was amazing. The bed was super comfy and huge. The room was set up with balloons on our arrival and a delicious cake bought to our room in the evening. All the staff were very helpful and always tried their best efforts. I would recommend opting in for their breakfast when booking, it is really really good. Lots of different cuisine options, yes for breakfast!! Jenson in the concierge was super helpful with great English and guided us to maximise our 3night stay in Beijing. Big thank you to him (I think his name could be spelt different).

Surprisingly, this very affordable hotel can complete my trip. With very affordable price, this hotel has such a high price to value ratio. Its location is golden, right in the center of cbd. It has a very complet gym and big indoor swimminh pool. Another plus of this hotel is its club rooms. They are located in higher floor so that they will have greater view compare to the other. The club rooms also allow me to check out at 4 PM (as long as condition permitted) I can not give it 5 score because many of its employees can not speak chinese. Only a few in front office can speal basic english. This hotel really need to step up its game since i saw many international visitors during my stay. This hotel also need to educate its laundry man. He need to know the politeness standard when he want to access international visitor room. I know he means well but the way he behave make me feel uncomfortable becaise i feel he is very weird.

Didn’t like when I first checked in, haven’t touched my bed or anything but when I went out after checking in, there’s someone came in the room and “made the bed”, they put the pillows on the floor and touched the blanket. Which was scary at first as I’m not used to such service. The lady receptionists weren’t friendly at all, when I checked in and checked out, they just stood at the reception and talked to each other instead of welcoming guests. Especially when checking out, the attitude of them was bad.

Enjoyed my self so much here that I could do it all over again. I only had one problem when we had the dinner and breakfast, the restaurant staff were confused about charging our bill to our room and tried to make us pay. I was asking what was the point of us depositing the money to our room if we cannot use it. But besides that incident everything else was pleasant. Especially the lady at reception, Una. Her energy and how she treated us was amazing during check in and check out and even asked us about our stay. I would definitely come back whenever I return to Beijing. Though I complained about the restaurant (which was two ladies, one who worked at the entrance and this other one) there was also this other lady that was so helpful and even though her English was not good, took the effort to use her phone to translate in order to help us. I wish I remembered her name so that I can mention it here. And the food was also so delicious I would give 7.5/10. We unfortunately didn't get the chance to try out other facilities like the pool, spa and gym and we wish we had the time to but when we do return, we will try the pool and gym and also the spa.

The location of the hotel is so closed to the MRT stat - 崇文门，the entrance/exit is just right in-front of the hotel! As it was off-peak season when we visited Beijing, we were upgraded to a Deluxe Suite, which mean there is a separate bedroom with a single bed, on top of a master room with a double bed. We really appreciate the kind act. While I was still at other part of China, I thought of ordering something online and use this hotel as the receiving end, I thought of just checking it out, and to my pleasant surprise, the hotel does provide such service and the staff helpfully guided me on how to do so. After I checked into the hotel and gotten the item I ordered, a few days later, but sadly the item didn't suit me, the hotel again provides the service of allowing the courier staff to go to the counter to collect back the return item. I was amazed by the extreme friendliness and helpfulness of the staff there. All in all, we really enjoyed the service extended to us! It is no doubt hotel staff in China places their guests at top priority, making them feel at home at all times.

Stay away! The saving grace came from Trip.com which enabled me to terminate our booking without penalty. Awful garbage smell in the room. We checked in at 1am due to late flight arrival. Upon entering the room we we’re concerned about a strange smell in the room. We thought it would go away so we just opened the window. It was late we decided we would ignore the smell but by 6.30 am we couldn’t ignore the foul smell anymore. So we wrote to trip.com to terminate our booking. By 9am we’re ready to check out. At the checkout counter the staff was gracious and friendly and she said our booking was terminated at our request. Just too many faults with this hotel room. Chair needs to be replaced. It easily toppled backwards. Toilet door can’t completely closed. Not sufficient electrical outlets to plug your devices. Curtains are dirty. No hooks in toilet. Only positive staff was friendly.

Location is EXCELLENT! It's just across the subway. And there are plenty of shopping malls and flagship stores for many international brands around. Super convenient with restaurants that serve super delicious local meals just next to the hotel. Staff is super attentive even in the middle of the night. Room bed and blankets are comfortable. Enough supply of bottles of water everyday. Free flow is Chinese tea and coffee at the lobby is definitely a big plus!! The only down side is the cigarette smoke at the corridor of the rooms.

This was our second stay at NUO, to celebrate our anniversary, and it was even sweeter than the first! As soon as you step into NUO’s beautiful lobby, the outside world seems to melt away, and you’re surrounded by a tranquil, elegant, and calming environment. The rooms are clean and luxurious, the beds super comfortable, and the lavish bathtub with a city view is also a highlight! Breakfast at NUO is an entire experience of its own! The breakfast buffet is vast and full of several varieties of cuisines. Every bite of food is prepared with excellence and care, and the staff are all very attentive and helpful. The keystone part of this stay is the amazing hospitality from Frank. Frank took wonderful care of us again, with cookies, fruits, and a personal note waiting for us in the room. He communicated with me via WeChat prior to our stay, to ensure everything would be perfect. While there are many lovely hotels in Beijing, none of them have someone like Frank who will make you feel so welcomed and at home in such a massive and beautiful space. We will always be recommending NUO to our friends, as well as treasuring the time we spent at this lovely hotel. I have to admit this hotel was the coziest and cleanest hotel I have ever been. The staff was friendly and helpful. The two girls were so sweet, they tried to help us and give us advice. The room was neat, they clean it daily. The hotel is near Universal Studio in Beijing and they offer us a bus to go there for free. Also, they do your laundry for free. In addition, if you want to buy the harry potter costumes at Universal, they were extremely expensive, in that case, the hotel sells harry potter's clothes cheaply.

I stayed here for 2 weeks during my Business Trip, and it had been a consistently good experience, the room is spacious and clean, the location is great as well, a lot of restaurant around and there's a mall right across the street. We booked 5 nights stay. Location near the metro station, nearby have plenty of food stores. Walk to wangfujing 15-20mins. Hotel provides free laundry self-service. The staff are generally friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the receptionist, named Kevin. He helped us to arrange for all my families (3rooms) to stay on the same floor and upgrade one room. The only down point for this hotel is that many rooms have a heavy smoking smell. And guests smoking in the room, which polluted the whole corridor.

We loved the facilities here! We booked a 3 night staycation for our family (2 year old and 3 month old). The staff was helpful and friendly and our 2 yo played and played and played. We loved it. I stayed 31 nights during january 2024 at 7 days inn hotel. I chose this hotel because it was very close to the subway, in the center of Beijing and the heating system was good according to the reviews. I changed room the first day so I could have a little bit better room. The previous room had no universal charger and was very dark, the windows in front of a wall. My room was on the first floor, just next to the shared bathroom and to the water dispenser. The room was very big and quiet (unless people talk in the corridor), not a lot of light but some rooms has more sun light than others. No fridge inside but since it was january I put my food outside the windows if I wanted to keep it fresh. If you want to warm some food, you can use the microwage in the commun area but I never used it. The commun area is very close from the entrance door so it was very chilly. The staff was nice but almost no english. They explained to me how to use the washing machine and once the wifi was not working so they helped me. Internet was definetly not very good but I was able to watch youtube with my vpn. I will start now talking about the shared bathroom (which I already knew was shared when booking) but I didn't know the toilet would be squat toilets. I think if I knew before, I wouldn't choose this hotel. There was no lock in the toilets. The shower room has one and was very cold (because winter). The hot water was always there but I took my shower usually in the morning (so less people). The shared bathroom was dirty mostly because of clients that didn't clean after their buisness. There was regulary water on the floor so I was just going with my shoes on at some point. The washing machine was broken the first 2 weeks and then got replaced. I'm still a bit confused if clients can use it or only the staff, but I used it anyway. The area is maybe a bit empty at first but if you go to the Hong Qiao Pearl Market, in the basement there is a big food court where you can try chinese food (or subway and macdonalds). Overall I liked my journey in this hotel but I think it was too expensive for a shared bathroom this old and dirty. I paid 1000 euros for 31 days.

Everything in regards to our stay at the Grand Hyatt was 6* except for the WiFi which wasn't of international standards. Location was spot on a central network linked to the mall with major big brands Which is linked to the 1st class train system. It's also 30mins walk to the Forbidden city. And the gym 🏋️♀️ and Pool and Spa was simply immaculate and luxurious first class with a heated pool oasis. Wished I could have spent more time enjoying the facilities. And what complimented well to the global luxurious brand was it's staff members! I have to call out the exceptional 2 departments Conceige and Housekeeping which was truly above and beyond!!! Daniel -assisted with restaurant bookings and forbidden City tickets reservations. And when he was off duty he still wechat me to suggest how to maximise the use of our tickets and best way to maximise time to visit Tianamen Square too and tips too on best way all this while he was off duty! Such dedication!!! Another staff whom I like to recognise is Cecila also from Conceige. When asked for directions on day 1, she didn't just verbalise, she left her station and ushered us all the way outside and showed us the right way around to our breakfast destination. On day 2, which is also check out day, she realised its J birthday and made arrangments for not 1 but 2 bakes so that our dearest friends could enjoy together too. She also kept in touch on wechat to organise all our logistical arrangments several times. Each time with a 😃 smile. Outstanding! Housekeeping lady for rooms 1221 and 1220 was simple though and detailed and went above and beyond too. So much personal touch to all that she did which most would never bother! Good job!! And best of all, she didn't expect anything in return. Absolutely admirable! Unsung hero! Check in staff Allan was pleasant and swift with our late check in and made our final day breakfast logistics seamless. Thank you and thanks for responding efficiently on wechat too. Con- WiFi sucks badly.....surprised that a 5* global brand couldn't keep u to. Chengdu 4* service Residence. So frustrating for global travellers like ourselves. Hope the next time we stay here sky guo would have fixed this feedback! Alongside with ensuring that luke warm pre made coffee will not be served. Absolutely charming sales director

When I first looked at the evaluation, I thought that the environment was not very good, I didn't have much expectations, and I told my family in advance that it might be unsatisfactory, but is it really close to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City? After I arrived, I felt that the environment was OK, but there was a basketball court opposite the room I lived in. It was very noisy during the day. The triple room was really not very large. Service: The service is pretty good. I called to confirm my needs before checking in, and the process was very fast. Earplugs are also provided. Facilities: The whole house is intelligently controlled, which is quite interesting to experience. It can automatically recognize and turn on the lights when going to the bathroom at night. It's just that there is a cabinet on one side of the bed and the other is not very convenient for charging. Equipped with a projector, the hotel's wireless is pretty fast, and the sound effects are okay. Environment: It is very close to Qianmen subway station. It is opposite from Exit I. The main reason why I booked the hotel at the time was because it is close to the subway. It is right at the entrance of Qianmen Street. It is very good. They accompanied us to the room, introduced us to the hotel's facilities and gave us some gifts, which made me feel In the strong Spring Festival atmosphere, we tasted fruits and desserts and then went to the restaurant to enjoy the set meal provided by the hotel. 1. Location is fantastic. Within walking distance to the shopping street and the forbidden city. The subway station is just below the shopping mall next door. If you want shopping, food and site-see, this location is the most convenient! 2. The front desk and the concierge are the 2 services that we troubled regularly during our stay of 6 nights. All Chinese site-seeing locations must be pre-booked and the applications are only Chinese-nationals friendly. Without a Chinese ID or a Chinese mobile number, it was impossible to help yourselves, even though we had Wechat and Alipay pre-installed and tested before we left Singapore. 3. Front desk team, Leon was the one who checked us in. He struggled to find us rooms on the same floor due to the peak season (23-29 Dec). We were given rooms on separate floor but he gave us lift access to both floors and apologized profusely for the wait and gave us vouchers for drinks at the cafe, which we did not use. 4. Concierge team led by Elvis with Alan and Wendy helping, was a fantastic team. Elvis had to use his mobile to help us book Great-Wall tickets, which we paid him through WeChat. During which, someone wanted his help, but he politely tell the guy to wait since he has started helping us first. Polite and put his point across without creating a scene. 5. Alan from the concierge team was the one that got us a table at their Christmas eve dinner. They first offered us a 4-seater table squeezing in 6, to be shared with another 2. We turned down the offer and was prepared to end up eating street food or order room service. But on the day itself, he saw us coming back and offered us another table, because they decided to add in more tables, which we took. It was a fantastic buffet dinner with free flow of alcohol and drinks. The highlight was the cutting of a huge blue-fin tuna. The price for the dinner per pax (don't remember how much now) was a fraction of what have to pay in Singapore. The amount of alcohol and tuna sashimi that we had was enough to recoup the dinner price ! 6. Another observation (now that we have been to Harbin Shangrila after Beijing, we have a comparison) : at the breakfast restaurant, the reception could recognize us on the 2nd day, and remembered our room numbers and that we are family of 4! The training of service staff paying such attention to details can only mean that they believe in service to the core. 7. If you are going to Beijing, consider no where else but Hilton at Wangfujing. I know I will be there again !

The room is decent size for the price and it is well distributed. The closet is just a hanger for like 4 or 5 garments so beware. Bathroom unfortunately was a bit smelly. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom/shower stalls need to be cleaned THOROUGHLY of grim/stains and MOULDS! Which are not only unsightly but pose a danger to health! This is for ALL rooms! Water from shower stalls do not drain well due to poor construction gradient of shower floor. Check in smooth and although booked a room on 2/3rd floors, was given one on 4th floor accessible through an external door on 3rd fl through 2 flights of stairs and to the outside, certainly unsuitable for any older persons! Was subsequently given one on 3rd for subsequent nights. Poor room layouts, no storage space/hooks for clothes, no fridge and dismal lighting. Architect/designer has much to learn about room layouts etc before embarking on further hotel designs! Breakfast was ample/adequate but could have some different varieties each day for those who stay longer. This could have been an innovative arty hotel which the Owner has in mind but for the above. Saving grace was the front desk staff who were most helpful and special mention should be made of Helen, Owen, Jake and Vivian.

There are armed police and special police on duty 24 hours at the door, and thieves have to go around. Walking around, the facilities are average, and the TV has snowflakes, but these are not important. When I come to Beijing, I just walk around during the day and sleep at night. I will stay here again next time I come to Beijing.

The last thing I would like to complain is efficiency. My booking didn't include meal.Sometimes I ordered food delivery myself. The delivery didn't pass to me after it had been arrived 20 mins. I called to frontdesk. They just said they were busy at that moment. Would give it to me later. About 15 mins waiting, I decided to take the delivery myself. They put it on a easy take way, and didn't check wtih my room number or my identity.That means others can take my delivery easily.These happened three times. Because of this bad experience, I cannot trust Manxin anymore.
